Fortress Tax Relief

Through a series of errors and miscommunication, we ended up with a tax lien. We tried to resolve it ourselves, with our corporate attorney, and accountant with no success. Jeremy reached out to us and for a low flat fee, resolved the penalty reducing the lien to almost nothing.

Michelle from Fortress Financial called the company I work for several days ago. I knew it was a solicitation and asked directly if it was a solicitation. Michelle lied to me and said that it wasn't a solicitation. I asked if it was regarding tax matters and she replied in the affirmative. I then informed her that I was aware that her call, in fact, was to solicit business and asked her to put us on their "Do Not Call" List as I've been told to do by these tax resolution companies. The reason for this negative review is because these companies, Fortress Financial included, are very aggressive with their tactics and flat out LIE and say they aren't soliciting business when they actually are. This needs to be stopped. I did record the conversation and can provide the recording if needed.
Today, 6/07/19, I received another call from Fortress Financial even though I told them to put them on their Do Not Call list. I have a picture of the phone display showing they called today and recorded the conversation even though the person on the other line said nothing and just hung up on me.

I had been dealing with an IRS revenue officer on my own for a month or so.
I owed a large amount of 941 taxes. After they filed liens on my business my phone
was ringing off the hook with tax advisors that were going to step in and save the day.
I did not appreciate unsolicited offers nor the fact that they told me that I could save lots of money hiring them. There is no getting out of 941 taxes I just needed the time to pay back the debt.
I researched tax advisors and found Fortress. On my initial interview they told me they could not get my taxes reduced, said best case would be small reduction of penalties and fees.

I was a little hesitant at first to be trusting our taxes with someone we didn't know but Fortress Financial Services has been nothing but amazing! I had outstanding 941 taxes for 4 1/2 years. I was being threatened by the IRS Revenue Officer. I tried refinancing my house, getting loans and everything I could to come up with the money so I could pay it off in full. However, my credit was not good so nothing was approved. I was having a difficult experience with another law firm. They were not communicating with me at all. I was stressed completely out. When Fortress Financial called me they were very calm and confident. I cancelled my contract with the other attorney and went with them. They communicated with me as much as I needed.
