This is the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing You wait on the phone for about minutes before you can actually speak to someone Terrible voice prompt system HELP! I have been waiting for an escrow refund for over a month and half Terrible company!

Everyone we worked with at Franklin American in Springfield, MO was great! They took the stress out of a major move We didn't have to worry about how things were going, because they always kept us pleasantly informed We would highly recommend!

I was very pleased with the customer service I received today Had an issue with correspondence in the beginning (because I had just purchased my home) and mailed my first payment to the wrong address It showed as a late payment, but when I called, worried, they told me very adamantly that they were on top of it and would get things sorted out I was able to email them the check payment, and they promptly reviewed the email, and directed me to what I needed to do
Instead of giving me the run-around, or just sending me through the typical processing, they gave me personal attention without seeming bothered by me The gist I get on this company is they are simply a growing company still getting some of their bearings but are rising to the challenge I appreciated everything they did for me today

FAMC sold our loan while we had an open claimWe jumped through all their required hoops for the, then they sold our loan with no apparant consideration to the fact that we had a pending claim, and now neither FAMC nor the new company have or can find the remaining claim balance, which is now owed to the contractors who now completed the workThey are missing almost $Each company keeps telling me to call the other companyI should not have to chase this money downThe FAMC claims process is a miserable process

Franklin American Mortgage did not pay the correct property tax for my home loan After several calls, it finally was paid in Now that the tax law has changed for 2018, I no longer can deduct my taxes on my return Their error cost me $ I have tried for months to get a reimbursement for their mistake, but they have given me the run-around After months and numerous calls, they have finally closed my complaint without reimbursement I submitted all the evidence of their mistake via the fax number they provided along with my tax statements
We have paid all our mortgage payments on time and have been ideal customers that any reputable mortgage lender would love to have It's unfortunate that Franklin American has opted to treat their customers with such blatant disregard

My relationship with this company started off great, the loan originator helped me get my credit score well above what was required I was honest with him about my financials and my credit history Finally in August months after my initial application I was given a pre-approval letter and was able to put inn offer on a house That is what we did, on Aug with a closing date of 9-30- As the closing day approached I could sense something was not going well communication slowed and other employees from across the country started to ask for documents days before closing I was still being assured that a closing would happen on time as long as I submitted everything to them by a certain date, I did meet all their deadlines Needless with just days before closing an appraisal finally gets ordered and I began to get nervous I started asking questions and I was receiving vague or no responses at all days after initial closing date we get a rather harsh rejection of loan email It was written in all caps in a very large font and was incredibly unprofessional I'm not arguing the reasons why a denial was given just the delivery and timing was terrible The reasons given was known about weeks before it went to underwriting They still made me pay for an appraisal and insurance binder and continue to conference call credit reporting agencies I will not ever recommend anyone to waste time with this company
