In response, Fred Meyer Jewelers will not be replacing this diamondThis concern was brought to our attention back in 08/This information of the enhanced diamond was not disclosed to the store associates that the diamond was enhancedOver a year later this concern claims that it was shared,
this was not sharedThe goldsmith involved clearly remembers that there is no documentation that we were made aware of this enhacementThere will be no further action on our part for this

We are in receipt of the above complaint. We are willing to honor the price of $for the set of jewelry and have contacted the consumer regarding this offer. While we disagree with the costumer’s assertion the price was for a “set,” our display signs will be revised to further
clarify the purchase price of the jewelry is $229/each piece. Please remove this complaint from your database.”

her go somewhere elseCustomer said she wanted another ringCustomer came in to look at the ring that the Manager was replacing and said it’s beveled and her ring was not beveledIt was explained to the Customer that after two years of wearing a ring it’s going to be more rounded. Customer has been notified that her second ring is at the store ready to be picked upRegional will be at the store waiting for the Customer to pick up the replacement

After the incident occurred I spoke with the store manager and she informed me that because the incident was more than a year after the purchase date they no longer have record of my "purchase notes"This is a violation of Washington state law which requires service contract providers to keep records of a contract, pursuant to rcw Per Washington code, any violation of the service contract act is a violation of the consumer protection act
I would like for Fred Meyer to provide all of the original purchase documentation and all service documentation for my wifes band

Thank you for
your email, we are sorry that your nearby store has closed. Unfortunately, we
are no longer accepting 3rd party company inspections.
With the volume
of the inspections, reputable jewelry companies do not take these anymore for
other companies. We have...

confirmed that a shipping label has been issued from the request on 05/03.
 
We understand
your concerns with mailing in your jewelry, but rest assured we have had great
success with this throughout our 250+ locations. We have been using this method
for many years and feel very secure about this process. The shipping labels are
discreet with no indication listed that would make one question if the package
includes jewelry. When it’s time for an inspection or a repair you would
contact us at 1-800-DIAMOND and select the option for inspection and repair
services. We will then be issuing you a pre-paid, fully insured shipping label.
You will also receive a Repair & Inspection form that needs to be filled
out and sent in with your merchandise. We ship FedEx.
Everything that
we ship requires a signature sign off upon delivery. If you prefer, you can
request to have it held at the FedEx branch nearest you. In the event of a
missing package, we will replace your jewelry with a like or similar item in
value, or refund the original purchase price.
We hope this
helped answer concerns. Unfortunately due to no opened locations near your home
address, this is the only option at this time that we are able to provide you
in regards to servicing your jewelry that was purchased at Fred Meyer/Littman
Jewelers.
