The consumer was satisfied and understood we likely did not send the products out in the condition she received and expects to continue as a customer of Puritan's Pride, Inc. I have yet to know what two types of pills were in the bottle that I returned to the company as they requestedThey state that results were provided to me and this in not trueI spoke to Natalie on 5/**/to which she indicated she would personally look into the matter and get back with me as soon as the investigation was completedI have yet to hear back from herI also spoke to Mike on 8/**/who stated that he was a supervisorHe read from their records that I was told back in May that " they cannot identify the pills"This is unacceptable and does not represent a thorough investigation as they said in the responseI have made several phone calls and have even had an attorney send a letter requesting a responseI ingested pills that they are not willing to reveal what they wereI am attaching photo's that I took prior to sending back the bottle and the content to the companyI have several family members and fellow employees that can verify that the pills in the bottle are the ones in the photo's and they are also the same pills that were in the bottleI refuse the bogus response and demand a further investigation with a written result on the contents in the bottle

A thorough investigation was completed of manufacturing and quality records and there were no deviations. We are in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and have Standard Operating Procedures in place. All manufacturing requirements were met during the production run and the alleged foreign tablet seen in the consumer's sample does not resemble any of the products packaged near the lot of the product consumer purchased. The logbooks were reviewed and thirty-nine quality checks were conducted routinely throughout the bottling process. There were approximately 63,bottles packaged for this lot and this was the only complaint of this nature. Based on the investigation, no quality deficiencies have been detected. Dear Sir or Madam, The company has made several attempts to provide the details of the investigation results to the consumer. It's unfortunate the results are not satisfactory. Another attempt is being made to address some additional comments in the consumer's rejection. If the consumer's attorney has sent a letter, it still has not been received but can easily be directed to the undersigned for a response. As for what sample was received - the Quality Department received one open tablet count bottle containing round white tablets inches in diameter, inches in thickness and weight grams; "foreign" white capsule shaped tablets inches x inches, inches in thickness and weight grams. The alleged foreign tablet seen in consumer's sample does not resemble any of the products packaged near the consumer's lot. Packaging records were reviewed and determined that there were no deviations or abnormalities noted during the packaging process. Line clearance was performed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Quality checks were conducted routinely throughout the bottling process, logbooks were reviewed and none of the products packaged prior to or on the adjacent lines resemble the "foreign" product returned by the consumer. There were 63,bottles packaged for this lot and there were no other complaints of this nature on this lot. The company understands the product was not contaminated when it left the facility. The company also does not suggest the consumer tampered with the product but just states that once it leaves the facility and our custody and control, we cannot determine what happens. It is in our best interest to ensure consumer satisfaction and we endeavor to provide quality products and good customer service. It is unfortunate the consumer has had this type of experience, and we welcome her to enjoy some of the other quality products offered It is our hope this matter is resolved.
