Mr***, upon receipt of your complaint I asked my cash department to review your account and advise why funds were reversedThey advised that the previous servicer of your loan, *** loan servicing advised that a payment that you had been posted twice in error and they needed the funds to be
returned to themI reach out to *** and they provided the explanation below history reflects two payment of $were applied effective 6/08/One payment was applied to the 6/payment with the remaining $applied as a principal paymentOn 7/07/16, we received a payment of $Combined with the second 6/08/payment we had $1,666.00, of which $was applied to complete the 7/paymentThe remaining $1,was applied as a principal payment.In October a reversal was completed to remove the duplicative 6/08/payment, but the transaction history was not reconciled to reflect the reversalIf reconciled, at the time of the servicing transfer, the UPB should have been $96,($95,+ $836.00).We have reversed from principal and applied that as the 3/payment effective 3/1/The loan is now due for the 4/1/paymentI am waiving all late charges and also making certain that any negative credit reporting is removed.SincerelyRoseanne GVice President Customer ServiceFreedom Mortgage Corporation

I am rejecting this response because: To say there were "some" errors made is a huge understatement I was in the refinancing process for nearly monthsMy loan failed to close multiple times solely due to the continuous lies and gross incompetence of Freedom Mortgage employees Please review the countless emails and phone calls and it will be easily apparent that the fault of my mortgage not closing lies not with myself but Freedom Mortgage And I have yet to receive any kind of acknowledgement that Freedom Mortgage ruined my opportunity to refinance my home I would like all of the phone calls and emails between myself and Freedom Mortgage to be reviewed because I am certain that no reasonable person can review all of the promises and monumental mistakes made throughout my loan process on the part of Freedom Mortgage and fault myself for this refinancing to have gone the way it did. I did everything asked of me promptly throughout this process and Freedom Mortgage completely failed myself and my family!

Ms*** Upon receipt of your complaint I reviewed both the application you had in process and the insurance claim you have on your current loanThe application was a streamline where we were lender paying the closing costsI am not clear on where you fee the was any misconductWe processed the
application, including the subordination of your second mortgage, extended the interest rate lock at our own cost and called out to you repeatedly, leaving messages on your cell phone to schedule your closing but you did not return our callsI do not see many incoming calls where you were calling into to ask questions or get a loan statusThe application has been cancelled due to lack of contact from youIn regards to the insurance claim, we have to follow investor guidelines and release funds as work is completedWe released $8,on 5/6/15, another 8,on 6/5/and then 11,on 9/16/You recently called in to schedule the 100% complete inspection which once complete will allow for the disbursement of the remaining left in escrowYour funds were handled in accordance with investor guidelines and not in any arbitrary mannerPlease let me know if I can be of any further assistanceRoseanne GVice President Customer ServiceFreedom Mortgage Corporation

This company is not customer friendly at allTheir payment system is outdated and the structure is horribleMy mortgage is basically a monthI receive my military disability in one bank account (1st) and I get my employment check in another bank account (5th)I tried to pay online for the whole amount from two different accounts but their system does not allow itIf you mail it in before the late date it does not matter because it is when they get it and you are charged a late feeIf you try to pay it over the phone with them from two different accounts you get charged per accountSo because their system does not allow, they want to charge me to make a payment over the phoneThe employees are not on the same page or trained well because I have been given different information from each person I talk toThey say you can do one thing and after you attempt it, their response is always...sorry I thought...The review says to support credibility, all you have to do is refer back to the recorded phone conversations on dates like 4/15/and in March when I was told a late fee would be removed but was told the following month it had been deniedI am in the process of taking my 320,loan else where, where their system is a little more up to date and customer friendlyOh an for the record I was on the phone once for over minutes
