Unreliable and unethical practices
I ordered a gas range from home depot Upon delivery (hour after the window, with no phone call) I was told that the range could not be installed The driver said it was due to a gas valve that was "not standard" After having a professional plumber look at the stove, he informed me that it was a standard gas line He had no issues installing the stove with the equipment these drivers deemed "impossible"
I spoke with home depot regarding this as obviously I was upset that I paid for services that the drivers were either too lazy to do, or were not trained how to do Now this is where the fun starts
Since they had been caught, the drivers decided to change their story Keep in mind that not only was the "gas valve issue" verbally relayed, but it was also written in their notes from the delivery Now the drivers blamed the electrical outlet They stated that the electrical receptacle is a Volt (the gas range has a standard

They did not provide the service
on 11/they came to deliver and install a dishwasherThey lied about not having the correct partsAfter they left we discovered it and called the driver and main office to have the return and just leave the dishwasher we already paid and they refused to do soWe were given a date in the future for the them to bring it backThis dishwasher was paid for and they held itThey also were deceitful and misleading

Worst Possibly Delivery Ever People think I am making it up when I tell them about it
We had a fire in our home and, as a result, had to replace our refrigerator We ordered a refrigerator from Home Depot and Freight Rite was their selected carrier We were able to schedule having it delivered between and 8pm We were told they would call minutes before delivery, so when we didn't hear from them at 7:30, we called and were told they were still on their way but running late At 8:we still hadn't heard anything and called again, and again, were told the same thing At 9:30pm we called again and were told their office was closed, so Home Depot couldn't confirm if they were coming or not, but they could still come They never came The next morning we called and were told we'd be their first delivery that morning They showed up at 1:in the afternoon By this time, my mom had to come over to take over this process, as I had to go to work They delivered the refrige

Worst possible customer care group aroundThey do damage to your property and then they deny any claimPurchased a dishwasher at Home Depot for delivery and installationHome Depot has a video ON THEIR WEBSITE that goes over the requirements for having The Home Depot install a dishwasherIt advises the customer that a dedicated three prong outlet under the sink needs to be within feet along with a dedicated shut-off valve for the dishwasher and that this shut-off is accessible from either behind the dishwasher or under the sinkThe video also indicates that the shut off valve needs to be corrosion free, in good working condition, have a METAL connection for the plumbing parts to be attached and requires no alterationsThe video goes into detail about making sure the dishwasher is LEVEL and that the old unit is completely empty so that it can be moved out without any issuesIt never says that the plumbing in your home has to be PVC and not copperAnyway, the two delivery people look under the sink and say because we have copper plumbing they won't install our dishwasher so they leave it in our attached garageThe one delivery guy writes on the paperwork that the dishwasher is still crated and no damage without even removing the box and says I need to signNow we pulled the one car out earlier that morning so they could have easier access to bring the new dishwasher in and the old one outThe put the new dishwasher that was still crated and unopened up against a classic car that we have in the other garage bayI walk out to the garage and ask why is this dishwasher against our car and they just ignore me and get in the truck and drive off I contact Home Depot at the store level who of course pushes it to the corporate level who pushes it to Sedgwick (the company that handles their claims) who pushes it to the delivery company (Freight Rite) because they say that it was the delivery company's fault Freight Rite requests photos and statements, which get provided to them only for them to say "Well you signed that there was no damage" which I clearly told them that the driver requested the paperwork to be signed BEFORE I even made it out to the garage and that the box wasn't even opened by them Then they say well you moved the box away from the vehicle What was I supposed to do? Leave it up against my car? How did they want photo's of the damage? My camera doesn't go through cardboard and a dishwasher I'm contacting General Electric Consumer Relations to tell them about this experienceI am also going to email *** ***, the CEO of GE Appliances to advise them this is the type of delivery that individuals receive when they purchase GE AppliancesGE needs to find a different delivery company As for the installation issue, if GE is requiring certain types of plumbing, then Home Depot needs to put disclosures on their website by their video on Dishwasher InstallationsAs far as Freight Rite is concerned, they are liarsMy washer and dryer had to be replaced by GE because of issues with the electronics on them I dealt directly with GE Consumer Relations and *** who is the assistant to *** *** GE arranged for my old set to be picked up and a new replacement set to be installedFreight Rite damaged dryer that was delivered to me in February by standing on it after they took the box off of it and then they lied and told GE it was damaged when they removed it from the truck No, your driver stood on it, I have pictures of them damaging it Fortunately, GE sent a replacement dryer and when I spoke to ***, she found it very interesting that the driver lied to her because she even told me he said it was damaged in the box My advice is to stay away from buying appliances at The Home Depot because they outsource delivery to Freight Rite, and Freight Rite is nothing but a bunch of liars

Worst companyThey did not show up for a pick up and when I called they said oh well they are done for the dayWhen rescheduling, they were no help in convenienceWhen they finally did show up, on the day of my sons party, they damaged our mantel and put a hole in the drywallAfter weeks of back and forth with their claims deptThey denied the claim because we didnt tell the drivers right thenAbsolutley insane to meI will never, personal or business wise use this company! They cost us repair monies as well as weeks of wait time, all to pick up fridge

Poor Customer Service and Delivery Service
The first time the company arrived, they indicated they were unable to deliver the dishwasher and told me that they would reschedule the next day The next day never did occur and I had to call the home office Upon re-delivery, the employees wanted to half install the dishwasher, leaving hardware exposed and proceeded to dent the dishwasher I spoke with them and they said I had to call the ordering company and address the issueA new one was ordered, and they delivered a new one today and they indicated that because I had tile floors under my dishwasher and hardwood floors in my kitchen, they were unable to install...however they installed the same one a few weeks prior I have never dealt with terrible customer service like this They do not represent the idea of customer service and have a terrible delivery with poor employee engagement

BAD, BAD, BAD!!!
After many telephone calls made by me, lack of minute delivery calls (which I was assured that I would receive) and three failed deliveries:
a) one involved them showing up early with the aforementioned lack of call)
b) wrong serial number on their paperwork
c) DAMAGED REFRIGERATOR

Freight Rite delivered a Whirlpool fridge that I purchased from The Home DepotDue to improper installation water damage has ruined the kitchen floor

We purchased a washer/dryer set from Home Depot on black Friday and told it would be delivered on 12/ When they delivered it, the self proclaimed untrained technician told us the dryer wasn't working and that we needed to go down and flip our breaker on and then offWe did as he said It FRIED OUR BREAKER!!!!!
