Freight Rite delivered & installed our new GE gas dryer on 2/16/Our tenant was on hand to receive the delivery and inspected the dryer carefully when uncrated as a week before Freight Rite attempted to deliver a badly damaged dryer on which she refused delivery
The tenant told me the dryer was undamaged when uncrated, but after installation by the Freight Rite technicians she noted the dryer door had been scratched during the installation work She noted the scratch damage on the delivery note
I was overseas and was able to contact Freight Rite only through my family on 2/20/When I finally had access to a phone on 2/23/18, I called Shamira at our home warranty company, American Home Shield, who had provided the new dryer She told me installation damage is the responsibility of the installer, Freight Rite

Unfortunately I did not have a choice of the company that was to deliver a new dish washer purchased from the Lower Paxton Home Depot Freight Rite is the company that they use I first had to change delivery dates, as the dish washer was not delivered to the warehouse in time for the scheduled delivery I had to adjust when I would be available to fit their schedule I had shown pictures of what I thought were the necessary hook-ups to the dishwasher to the sales "consultant" at Home Depot It turned out that the water hofor the dishwasher was directly under the dishwasher in the basement The water line and shut off were completely exposed and within reach of the delivery person, without needing a ladder They refused to install the dishwasher I refused delivery I phoned Home Depot and requested a full refund If you read Freight Rite's web site, the only true installation they seem capable of is one that plugs in I can do that Their delivery personnel are neither professional, nor capable It also changes my opinion of Home Depot to rely on a company that caused them a refund of close to $ And I understand that Lowe's also uses their service, or lack there of

they improper mounted dishwasher put in sideways, told me to order other hardwareThey returned moved dishwasher and installed with no brackets and put drywall screws into my new cabinetsthey have since put larger wholes and dishwasher is falling forwardThey sent a new team out who could not do anything because 1st person did not use the mounting brackets, they took pictures of all the damage Since asking for this to be corrected or I would contact Revdex.com they will not return my calls
