Full House Movers Reviews (67)

It has been days since my furniture was picked up in California and yet to be delivered to South CarolinaI have contacted Full House Movers (FHM) several times and have not received a satisfactory responseIf I am told that someone will contact me and follow up it has never happenedI originally filed a complaint with Revdex.com on 7/and FHM responded on 7/to contact [redacted] as to when my furniture would be deliveredShe told me either SatJuly 18th or SunJuly 19thOn Monday July 20th I called FHM when they opened on the West Coast and asked why I had yet to receive my furniture and why I have not received a courtesy call for the delayIn hours they were unable to call me to tell me where the driver was or when I might expect deliveryBecause of the delay I have been forced to buy a bed I did not need, furniture I did not need, a television I did not need, pots, pans, etcI did not needSouth Carolina requires new residents to register their vehicles within days or face finesI arrived in SC on June 14th and today is days past that deadlineThe paperwork required includes proof of citizenship, i.ebirth certificate which is in a safe in FHM's possessionWill FHM pay my fines, or am I required to lie to DMV and backdate my arrival effective when my furniture eventually shows up to avoid the fines? I feel that once FHM received payment for moving that I am no longer relevant and worthy of a simple courtesy like a phone call that specifically tells me where my household is and when I will receive itIf I owned their business I would make my outstanding clients a priority over new onesSadly, that is not the business priority of this companyAnyone considering doing business with FHM should heed my warning and not use this callous profit driven company as a resource.I would like to have my furniture delivered todayBarring that I would like someone with authority within that organization to actually contact me by phone and give me a specific date and time within the next two days when my stuff will be deliveredI would like a substantial refund, not the paltry $per day, for the chaos and pain they have caused meI have spent an amount commensurate with the cost of them moving my goods to replace items I did not need to

Date Sent: 10/19/12:54:PMTo whom it may concern, We are VERY sorry for the driver not communicating with you the day prior to deliveryWe do not hand out the drivers number to clients for safety purposeswith 10-clients delivered every couple weeks his phone can ring much more then we would like, while we prefer he focuses on the roadthe driver is obligated to call hours prior to delivery and I understand this is not the case(first I have hear of it, you could have refused delivery and asked him to wait in a case like this)The driver had the delivery address you have provided on the quote as well as the long distance form info and bill of lading you have provided and signed upon pickupnot sure where the confusion came fromBut I am sorry for wasting your (and his) time I assure we have provided all info and would be happy to provide you with the supporting docsin respect to missing items or damages, we have just recieved your complaint yesturday and replied with our claim info within a couple hoursYou also have our claim info on your contract copy as well as a link in your e-quote

to whom it may concern,we have provided the client with claim info and she will need to move forward with a claim if she believes she is entitled for any form of restitution for them to look into

To whom it may concern, we have moved Carly on 1-8-everything she requested was moved and delivered as well as put in place and assembled.*** has signed everything was received (as you can find in attached paperwork) per our regulations we offered the client although she only called in on Monday(days after her move) claiming she has a missing [redacted] We also questioned the team and checked the truck to find we most defiantly do not have the phoneWe advised the client to file a police report if she believes something was stolen from her house and recommend to check other options as well, as many things can happen in days

I am rejecting this response because:when I contracted with them and paid the deposit the earliest delivery date was December 3rd I confirmed verbally that I had a delivery location, but NOT the earliest delivery to be November 21st, especially if they picked up the items on November 20th! The claimed the attempted to deliver, all they did was call, I couldn't take the call for being a meeting, when I contacted them they started attacking and threating me I still don't know what I did to receive this action, when I asked for them to deliver the threatened more and refused to set a delivery time, and then stated I owed them and have to pay them in advance and they won't deliver! I call the driver back for their claimed delivery he said they couldn't find the address even after asking the postman, so the postman couldn't find the address! I have paid them $in advance and the are blackmailing me for more money to receive a key for where they claim they stored my items, but they won't deliver! How can I pay more in advance without receiving my items? They are acting like they own are selling me my own items! They are so unprofessional they sent me emails with wrong names and facts, I don't believe they ever intended to deliver, once they took possession of the items, they started harassing and blackmailing me How can the get a window of hours to pick up and days to deliver from the earliest delivery date of December 3rd, and according to them attempted to deliver once, they never claimed any other times, and now the own my items

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concernI have contacted their 3rd party claims department and have not received a response but at this time I supposed I have to close this complaintMy issue was never resolved but I don't see that I will be receiving any compensation for my damaged items any time soon

Stay away!! First they showed up to my apartment with a truck already 3/full They fit what they could and said they would have to come back tomorrow The problem was I didn't have the place tomorrow, AND, I needed to begin my drive that night (moving across two states) Their solution? Give me your key and we will come back tomorrow without you here and we promise to get all your stuff How frightening to have to wait days to see if they upheld their end of the bargain Then, I go to pay them with a money order (money order or cash they told me) only to be told it has to be a "postal" money order How archaic! Not every post office even does postal money orders anymore What could possibly be wrong with a [redacted] money order? Off I went to find a bank so that I could cash the money order into cash To top it all off, the truck arrived with just two guys to unload and set up all my furniture This was horrific because the condo property I moved into states this type of activity must be completed by 6pm (which I had communicated clearly up front) The truck arrived at 4:20pm Two guys I was told it would be four Really There were also several items damaged along the way One was a dresser that someone had clearly stood on and caved it in Stay stay stay away from Full House and [redacted] (the parent company)!!!

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Yes, you were aware as I contacted the moving company and spoke with customer serviceAlso, due to the weather and it being nighttime when the truck showed up with my belongings and I had to transfer them into a U-Haul, I noticed on the truck that my items started at sqcubic ftand were complete by the sqcubic ftmarkThat places my items at less than sqcubic feet and not the on my contractAlso, I had to help the driver who was by himself move my belongings as he didn't have anyone with him and he said the guys that were supposed to meet him couldn't due to the weatherYour company stated that you were a local moving company and that every driver, mover, etchad passed background checks and physicalsHow is that the case if you're hiring movers in Tennessee (I'm assuming of craigslist)Also, the semi trailer was from Nevada and the semi-truck California, and the driver TexasOnce again how does that make you a local moving companyThe driver stated that you were a network like Mayflower? Which one is it? Because if you are, that is advertisingLastly, I sent you per what our contract says about per day after the day guarantee, and the last date of delivery, as well as the miscalculation of the cubic feet and costThis is on top of the ignoring my calls, emails, etcI'm really interested to see what your claims department lookslike Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:From: [redacted] [mailto: [redacted] @aol.com] Sent: Tuesday, April 25, 2017 7:54 PM To: Complaints <[email protected]> Subject: Re: You have a new message from the BBB My things were finally delivered, missing a box, with broken dishes and glasses where boxes were clearly marked fragile. My bicycle was damaged and my things were apparently thrown all over the place by the appearance of my items. Sincerely, [redacted]

We just moved this weekend and this was our first time using a moving companyI called a few other places to get the low-down on costs and such, and one other place actually answered the phone, but they were such a hard sell (and didn’t pay attention to the details during our conversation) that I decided not to bother with themFull House Movers were very straight-forward, and they did not do the hard sell at allIn the end, they ended up being cheaper than the other places (that all said they were the cheapest), and the service was phenomenalAt precisely the agreed-upon time, three big guys showed upThey worked fast, and considering that they had two flights of stairs to work with, I was VERY impressedThey treated my more delicate things with gentleness and care, and were very patient with me during the whole process, which I imagine could be hard to do when it’s hot outside, and your lugging someone else’s stuff up and down stairs all dayWhen they unloaded my stuff into the apartment, they didn’t just drop it all in one spot, they took care to deliver the boxes and furniture to their appropriate rooms and they even helped me set up the bed againThese guys were magnificent and I HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone in this area needing moving assistanceThanks guys!!!

They STOLE some of my furniture! I paid for this? Not only did my stuff arrive much later than I was initially told, they stole a large floor lamp

I recently used Full House Movers, a recommendation from a friend, and I have to give them stars! Not only were their prices incredibly reasonable but their staff were also top-notch, incredibly goodThey were friendly, helpful, and I trusted them with the safety of my family’s belongingsI am happy to say that nothing was damaged in the move and it was the most stress-free moving experience I have ever had! Having moved nearly six times in the past seven years, this was my first time hiring professionals to do the job and after using Full House Movers, I can say with 100% certainty that not only will I never move myself again, I will be using them every time, never another moving company! The quote was much lower than I expected and all in all, I am super satisfied with these movers! Great job guys!

Dear ***,
I am really sorry about the negative experience you have hadAllow me to begin with addressing the amount of time it tookOur average is up to business days, and as you expressed in your complaint, our "not to exceed" based on our tariff and federal regulations is
business daysit is very rare we exceed the business days and I am really sorry you had experienced thatThe driver was informed to discount $off of the delivery balance for this delay and I show he didis that not the case? *** did her best to inform *** of the delays and ETA's, unfortunately delivery truck schedules are very dynamic in the moving industry
In regards to damaged/ missing items, this is the first we have heard of anything of that sortif you would like to email/ call *** we would be happy to open a claim and check out what happened***

Denver Revdex.com.org I was not able to respond to your time frame regarding Complaint #***. I do not consider this matter resolved. I do not agree with the description of the events that led up to my unfortunate repair for damage done to my vehicle as a result to a visit to this repair shop. I did submit a claim to my insurance company regarding damage to my vehicle due to negligence. Nothing I can prove; but the merchant admits that damage to the vehicle occurred in respect to the front of the van Thanks

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I was not given a "discount" for the delay No one from Full House has called or emailed me about a discount. No one from Full Hose has called or emailed me how to file a claim. Full House is quick to respond to Revdex.com , but still no one from Full House has called me! Sincerely,*** ***

To whom it may concern, I have spoken to the client and will be in direct communication.I believe the situation will be handled directly

to whom it may concern,I have responded to this complaint in the form of an email on 04-response posted bellow.seems like this is a duplicated complaint on your end. " Mr*** placed first available date for delivery 04-5-17, we do estimate delivery on AVG within business days from
that date and guarantee delivery within business days from first available date (per federal regulations and our contract/ tariff)Today will be the 14th business date and the 4th of May is the 21st business dateThe truck is in route and should be there before the 21st business date.If any unforeseen delays happen we will be sure to reimburse the contracted rate per diam if it comes to that. We apologize for the delay in delivery and assure we are doing everything we can to expedite your items "

We do admit that damage occurred to the grill of the van as a result of the failure of the brakes, however, we do not consider the work the customer approved after the failure of the brakes to be unnecessary work to get the customer back on the road. We are sorry it cost him a day of travel

This company delivered my things with one full box of confirmed items missingI filed a report with no responseThey broke my fragile items, although the box clearly stated fragile itemsThey damaged my bicycleThe company has completely stopped answering my attempts to communicate.I want
compensation for my missing items in my missing box, all broken items and repair of my bicycle

I spoke to your *** on the phone and explained the exact breakdown of the business daysThe balance was $the discount owed by law and contract was $leaving a balance of $132.21, which I went ahead and waived as well allowing a total discount of $522.21. we are very sorry for
the major delay and hope this close to 50% discount makes it right
