We apologize for the inconvenience experienced by the customer with schedulingThis difficulties faced by the customer are completely unacceptable and do not meet our high customer service standardsDue to this, we are happy to offer a refund of the price for the automatic garage door opener and
install, however there is still a balance due for the new garage door that was installed and is in the customer's possessionThe original balance was $After removing the opener cost the total for the door and installation would be $with the customer owing $816.92.
We fully reviewed everything with the customer and offered to collect our garage door opener and equipment and reduce the total due to the price of the door only as broken down aboveThe customer declined this offer and is refusing to pay for the parts and services that have been completed without issueWe have been forced to pass the balance due to our collection department for recover, but we would appreciate a call from the customer to resolve the balance before any legal action is takenIf there is any issue with the door installation we will gladly schedule a warranty visit to resolve any and all of the customer's concerns

I give Garage Door Services double zero stars! Customer Service is a HUGE part in my line of work& I always thought that people who wrote bad reviews about businesses are either upset because they didn't pay something or they just flat out lieI never seen myself as a person who even can take the type of time like this to go and write a review, whatever it may be: good or badHowever, this business/people/service is so incredibly ridiculous, I want to write a review to save others accepting business from them! I'm going to start off from the beginningDecember 2014, I was in between going with Home depot to do my garage doors or Garage door services ( I made a mistake, I should have went with Home Depot) but Garage Door Services matched their price after they tried to give me a ridiculous high priceAfter agreeing to go with them at a $2k ($1900ish I have the receipt at home) price, the technician came the first night and rescheduled with us to come back the following night because he was not ready for that "big of a job" I could go on about our initial install but that's not what threw me over the edge so we will move onOctober 2015, not even a year later, I called them and let them know that my garage motor system is locking up and we would have to manually unlock it to get the garage door to openThey set an appointment for me from 5-8pmPlease note I work 8am-5pm, so with that window frame, I had to make myself available at therefore, I left my job early at 4:30pmI also had a flight out of the country the same nightWhen my scheduled time passed, I finally got a call from a technician who said he wouldn't be able to make it at all! HE WAITED TIL THE WHOLE HOURS TIME FRAME PASSED TO CALL ME AND TELL ME HE WOULDN'T MAKE IT!? lost time from work(number 1) I told him there's no way I can reschedule as I have a scheduled flight that night and would have to call back when I get back into townI get back into town end of November, used my garage about twice before it FULLY COLLASPE on us!!!!!! Now, I was already mad at this point because if someone would have showed up when they were supposed to a MONTH ago to fix the problem, this BIGGER problem of a garage door collapsing on us would have never occurred!! okay, the past is the past, so I call them and told them my garage collapseThey scheduled an appointment for me5-8pm againWell, here I am, leaving work at 4:30pm to make it at to wait for them, I get a call from my husband at 5:45ish and tells me, the garage company just called and cancelled and said they wouldn't make it(number 2) left early for work againso I call them and reschedule for the next day 5-8pm AGAINThe next day, left work yet AGAIN EARLY, and 7:00pm rolls around and I decide to call them just to check on the status, the representative on the phone says "oh hi, this is Ms***, yeah we have you on the schedule for 6-9pm" (number 3) THIS IS A JOKE!!!! so you people think you can change the time on your customers just because you are running late and think your customers will not notice that you changed the time from 5-to 6-9?! When a WORKING person has to leave their job for the THIRD time EARLY to make it for a window frame, THAT DOES NOT FLYSo I ask to speak to a manager where they got a manager and I let him know "look my appointment is from 5-8pm, I already left work early if it was 6-I wouldn't have had to get an early dismissal, so someone needs to be at my home no later than 8pm!!!! well a technician showed up around 8:30pmWhatever, at this point just get my garage door fixed!!!!!! so they fixed my garage, charged me $Well a week and a half laterguess what, my garage door collapse again!!!!!so I call them and asked them if they can come out same day because my garage now is halfway open and I don't want to get robbed while I'm at work or in the middle of the nightWell they told me warranty does not do same day but they can put me on the schedule for first thing in the morning at 8amLets recall back to when I said my work schedule is 8am-5pmWell, in the case of not wanting to get robbed, I agreed to go into work late(Number 4)8:15am, still haven't heard my doorbell ringso I give them a call to ask how late will they be runningThe gentlemen who answers the phone says "Ms*** right? Yes we still have you on the schedule for 12-3pm" HAHAHAHAH!!!!! So you changed my time again and just felt like I wouldn't notice!! so I ask to speak to a manager and the manager goes on to tell me they don't do morning appointments for WarrantiesSounds familiar, right? at this point, they are just making excusesHere I am 8:30am, when I start work at 8am, already late to work and at this point they are just playing games with meHe said there is nothing he can do as he already sent out all his technicians for the day alreadyWell, my "new" appointment is from 12-3pm today, we will see if that will be (number 5) excuse! At this point I have spent roughly around $with them for a garage door that cant even work for up to more than a yearI would like my garage door fixed THE CORRECT WAY SO IT WON'T BREAK IN A WEEK and I would also like my $reimbursed to me due to all these cancelled appointments and missed work! Also the first missed appointment could have been a simple fix before it collapse on us, causing the fix to be $To my knowledge, their phone calls are recorded, so they need to go listen to all my phone calls and hear the appointments they have set with me just in case they forgot all this went onI would love to be contacted by a REAL manager because every time I ask to speak to a manager I get a different personMy phone number is (***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI have NEVER done business or heard of the company of this invoiceAll this company is is a large scam/ fraud and they are unhappy that we called the police on their fraudulent workUntil I receive a legitimate invoice with the correct company (Garage Door Servicies & Repair, Inc.) and the correct date of service, then the invoice will be paidI had to stop payment on my check since *** and other "client service" people stated the check was potentially lostThis caused me to change accounts and a crazy inconvience from a fraudlant companyAs far as the collection agency goes, they sent me a letter stating they have closed the account in their office since it was a disputed debt and the original creditor cannot provide proper documentation.
To simply put it, if "Garage Door Services & Repair, INC." for the correct amount with the date of service being (08/17/ONLY)This company is CrAZY and NOT a legitamate companyA compliant was filed with the Ohio Attorney Generals office against GDS and the collection company for going attempting to collect a debtThis company has not done anything but take hours upon hours of my timeWe are done hereAny further communication from "GDS" is considered harassment since I hired Garage Door Services & Repair, INCNOT "Garage door service" or Fox Overhead Door! Stop falsifying invoices! I will purse legal action as required.

Attached is the customer's invoice, please see the notes documenting that we agreed to offer a 6 month labor warranty to the customer. The customer has since called back demanding that we give him a lifetime warranty on labor, this is not something that was ever discussed, offered, or agreed to by any representative of our company because it simply is not possible. We warranty and guarantee the parts but a cost does apply for the labor to be completed by our certified technician should a warranty concern occur. There is a standard $89 service call outside of the labor warranty of 6 months in this case, and the labor to replace both springs if necessary would not exceed $200 in a worst case scenario. This is all agreed to and detailed on the contract signed by the customer. With this said, we will always make an exception to take care of our customer's should an issue occur that is due to improper installation.
With the reimbursement and agreement to extend a special 6 month service warranty to the customer we have gone above and beyond to do everything in our power to completely satisfy the customer.

Case# [redacted]Attached is the invoice please let me know if 2 garage door springs for $200 and tax is unreasonable. [redacted] is a kid playing games. He has called this office and has done nothing but harass this office by cursing out my customer service team when they were trying to help...

understand the complaint. Long story short this client stopped payment on their check and refuse help and resolve. This case has been turned over to an outside collection agency.Thank you

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The company contacted me and asked if they could pick up the opener (motor) along with the 1 remote and sensor left over AFTER I had to install my own door. They did picked it up and removed that amount from my balance. The amount they "offered" to reduce is based on the opener which I gave back to them so it wasn't really an amount they took off, they had to because I gave back the opener (motor).  By the way they scheduled a Friday 7pm pickup for the motor and guess what happened. They came by Thursday unannounced. What a joke. Not only do they say they are in Colorado the office they have is not an office at all. They have number in San Diego listed on one website and another in Texas. Shady.  Not even based in Denver as a company. They say my balance is $816.92???  Here is what I have proposed as a resolution. I make $35 per hour and I work 7 days a week.  I work from 7am - 7pm so anytime they said they needed to come by I had to take off. Monday they scheduled 5pm inspection before door install was done. 5-7pm = 2 hours / Friday they scheduled 3pm install time, tech didn't come till 7:30pm, didn't leave till 11:30pm but let’s just talk about money lost 3-7pm = 4 hours (and garage still wasn't fixed / Tech came back Saturday at 2pm and guess what, still not fixed 2-7pm = 5 hours / Rescheduled for Sunday fix at 3pm, I called their dispatch at 3:30pm and GUESS WHAT. I wasn't on the schedule 3-7pm = 4 hours. I was no longer going to allow them to hold me hostage so I went and bought a garage door on Sunday and installed it MYSELF. Cost of new opener (motor) = $400.00. Now let’s add up all the lost wages and money spent by me because of the incompetence of this company. 15 hours of work lost $35 per hour = $525 dollars and $400 garage door motor = $925.00   Wow they owe me money! This amount does not include my frustration, the labor to take their crap down and installing my own motor and rail, etc. I have advised this company to clear my balance and IF they need to talk to someone I offered my attorneys name and number. We will be HAPPY to take this to court if they bring it on!  I was kind enough to allow my credit card company let them keep the $200 deposit and gave them their crap motor back. I am done. If they pursue legal action we will counter for way more money. .  Her is a safe link to download video of how they left my garage with commentary (select the option todownload using your browser): https://mega.nz/#!MockGShC!XTk0J3PK-GgSAf_u74EiDvlav7W2gNDrK7tsJAOchj...  Regards,[redacted]
