Based on the nature of the call, the customer service agent offered to refund 25% of the charge on that same day. However, the customer declined. As a courtesy from our company, we will issue a refund of $87.63 for the May 15th charge. The customer is required to return the unopened bottle to the Del Mar address on the label. The consumer will receive an e-mail confirmation of the refund. The refund will take three to seven business days to credit back.

Mrs. [redacted] placed her order on 11/11/13. This is when she paid the initial $4.95 and this began her 14 day trial period to sample from her initial 30 day supply. Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during her allotted trial period, Mrs. [redacted] was automatically billed for her 30 day supply on 11/25/13 as explained to her in the terms and conditions for which she agreed to. Mrs. [redacted] contacted our company on 11/29/14 with a request for cancellation. Her account was canceled as instructed and she was sent a confirmation email confirming her cancellation. Based on the nature of the call, the representative partially refunded the charge of $87.63 in the amount of $44.00, as her return policy period had expired. As Mrs. [redacted] explained in her complaint, she disputed the charge with her bank. When a charge is put under dispute, it is immediately refunded by the bank. The bank then contacts our company to verify whether or not the charge is authorized. When it is verified that the charge is authorized, the charge is reapplied by her bank. We have not additionally billed Mrs. [redacted], the charge in question is her bank reapplying the charge as the dispute is complete and was decided in our favor. We have refunded Mrs. [redacted]'s account in the amount of $43.63, the remainder of the charge, as we value customer satisfaction. The refund will apply within the next 3-7 business days. Although, Mrs. [redacted] ordered our product, she has been refunded fully in the amount of $87.63.

Review: When ordering a trial of the product you have 14 days to call and cancel. On the 15th day is when charges will occur. NOT SO! They charge on day 14 and refuse to return funds. If you email them a pre-written email returns to you that someone will respond to you in 24-48 hours. Review: I ordered these pills on 2/13/2014, and they arrived on the first of March. When I ordered these I printed out everything, and I wanted to try it out. Nothing came with is saying I would be charged, and the trial said it was free. They sent me a card in there stating that it would $87/mo after my free trial. The guy I called at the company told me they tried to charge my card before I even received my sample. I told them they should have been honest with me, and this should have been a free sample and only pay $4.95 for the shipping. Nothing told me that it would be an addition $87/mo when I signed up, and it only told me that once the item got here. If I accept the bottle that is when they will charge, so I am going to send this bottle back unopened.Desired Settlement: I want this company to stop their false advertisement, and I do not want to be charged the $87 for this item I am now sending back. Review: Called the customer service number several times and no one will call me back. trying to get refund for product.

The ad stated that you would only shipping for $4.95 which I agreed to however I never received any further notification via email or otherwise that additional charges would be made or shipped. Review: On February 6th I came across an ad for a 14 day trial of Garcinia Cambogia Slim Fast - the website ( https://garciniacambogiaslimfast.com/trial ) states you pay $4.95 for a 30 day supply of Garcinia Cambogia to trial. My account was charged 4.95 on February 6, 2014. I was then charged $87.63 today. When I contacted them they stated that the trial is just to start a membership program with monthly charges. No where on the internet page offering the "trial" does it state that you are going to be charged $87.63 in addition to the $4.95. No where does it state that you are starting a membership with recurring costs. When I called the customer service they stated that it is better to call them before ordering so things are clear. Why offer the form to fill out for trial? Why not just clearly state on the website that it is to START a membership with RECURRING fees? Why not make it clear that you have to call BEFORE day #14 to cancel said membership? The customer service person stated that it does lay that out under the "terms and conditions" link, which is pages long. I never opened the trial bottle I received, so if I pay to return it they will refund the $87.63. They will not refund the $4.95 for the trial that I never actually tried. I would like to have the full amount of my money returned. I don't feel I should even have to return the trial bottle, and pay more in the process, just to get the refund. From reading other complaints I am not the first or only person who has been misled by the promise of a full month trial for $4.95. I would like to see the website redesigned to CLEARLY STATE just what someone is getting with their TRIAL. I ordered a trial supplement from Jacked MuscleX, Del Mar,CA. The trial was 14 days and if you liked it you kept it and would be billed $89. If you didn't you were to call within 14 days to cancel. I waited and waited for this product to arrive and just figured it was taking a long time from California to North Carolina. I never received the product trial and was charged $89 on the 15th day after I requested the trial. I never had an opportunity to try it and cancel as I never even received it. I contacted the company and they basically sad it was too bad, that I should have called before the 15th day and they'd give me a refund of half the $89, a $44.50 refund. How can I know to call if I'm still waiting for the product to come in the mail? They charged my card on August 22nd and refunded just half, at $44.50, on August 22nd.Desired Settlement: I'd like the other half of my money, $44.50. We've closed his account so he wouldn't be billed on 04/10/2014, as he requested.

I will honor this providing that this company fully refunds my money as I requested during a previous conversation. As of April 24, 2014, that refund does not show. The consumer placed the order on 11/10/13. This is when they paid the initial $4.95 and this began the 14 day trial period to sample from the initial 30 day supply. Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted trial period, the consumer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply at $87.63 on 11/24/13 as explained in the terms and conditions for which they agreed to. The order includes a monthly membership, which rebilled for the consumer on 12/24 at the second charge of $87.63.

The consumer then contacted the company on 12/26 with a request for cancellation and refund. During the phone call, the consumer verified they were upset and wished to have a refund, but the call dropped. When the representative attempted to call the customer back, the calls would not connect and the account was notated regarding this call. We did not receive any other confirmation from the customer regarding the account to assist her. As we are invested in full customer service, we have issued refunds for the two charges of $87.63 applied on 11/24/13 and 12/24/13 as a courtesy from the company. The customer is welcome to keep both products from the company for any inconvenience.
