Unfortunately, he didn't have the correct one - they are like hen's teeth to find - so he refunded me AFTER YEARS in full! This afternoon MrBob B., owner of Bob's Gun Shop CALLED ME, to verify that the part that I ordered was going to be correct for my gun, as there were many options to choose from with this old piece He took his time in explaining what would work and how to identify correct mainspring style as I searched for my file photos He upgraded my order for a very slight price increase He also gladly agreed to ship the parts to the current owner of the gun at another location Would I do business with him again? You bet It's so rare for top notch customer service these days and I think I found an example of that today Plus, he is a pleasant, common sense, American man to talk with with Thanks MrB
I was searching for the last months for a Stevens butt-stock, for a shotgun made for only years in the late 70'sI emailed Bob's Gun Shop, and had a prompt response from this businessThe business webSite shows "BRAND NEW ORIGINAL STOCKS", for my particular shotgun He answered all my questions promptly, and I had my new shotgun stock in just daysThe owner was absolutely up front in telling me how long it would take him to get it to meI am more than delighted with doing business with this companyA very POSITIVE experience!

I have used Bob's Gun Shop, Incover half a dozen times in the last years and while he is not internet savy and no longer takes phone calls, I have NEVER had a problem with this businessHe's a one man operation, been in business one year younger than I am old at the time of this review (61) and while he may be slow and hard to contact, I have never had to contact himAnytime it's taken longer than his web-site stated weeks - I get an e-mail and as the parts I generally order from him are hard to come by and at times impossible to get anywhere else, a little time or the use of snail mail and a Money Order are NOT too much to ask for a part needed to put a broken firearm back in working order

It was a few days, (remember they run a hands on business), but they did notify me when they were going to charge my card
When I received my order in the mail I found the components were just as described These people got me the part that I needed and it was a pleasure doing business with them At that point there was nothing that these people would ever have to prove to meTheir service and product spake for itself and they have all the credibility in the world with me
So the point is that you should have zero concern about the integrity of this business and these people It is citizens like this that I consider as national treasures that will not be around forever And when their generation is gone the world will be worse off for it

Bob sold me a hammer spring for my shotgun I had trouble firing it because the spring in the gun was broken He saved the day because of his inventory
