I was having some major issues with my PC, i.e., unable to retrieve my E Mail and having messed around with it for the better part of an hour, I got a phone call from these guys telling me that I had some viruses on my PC and that they could help me outI was delighted at first as the guy who normally works on my PC was swamped with work and couldn't get to mine for a while, so, being blonde, Norwegian and years old, I fell for it completely I talked first to a con artist, good little Mormon Boy, named Angel, whom they won't let me talk to at all now!!! Red Flag!!He told me that once they got into my PC, which I was supposed to help them do from home, it would cost me said amount to get it all cleaned up, i.e., viruses etc Then for $for a year, they would keep my PC free and clear of viruses, etcand whenever I experienced a problem, to call them immediately and they would correct the problem for free He wanted me to call my Credit Card immediately to tell them to a

Hi Kristine, We have made contact with Mr*** todayHe had hired us to do remote tech support for his computer two months agoWhile we were connected to his PC via the internet his hard drive physically crashedThis is something a remote connection through the internet cannot causeIt was
coincidental and Mr*** felt we had caused the issueOur techs spent several man hours working with him and doing all they could to assist himI've spoke with Mr*** several times throughout the last two months trying to resolve the issuesHe had paid us $for our servicesOn April 8th I had refunded him $*** despite the man hours we investedWe felt that considering Mr***'s perspective it was the right thing to doWe maintained $for the cost of the software that he purchased and has possession of currentlyAfter receiving the notice from the Revdex.com today we reached out to him immediatelyWe left a voicemail and sent him an email asking him to contact usHe reached out to us moments agoWe explained that we had refunded the $dollars today as soon as we realized he was not satisfiedThis means we have maintained zero funds and he has received valuable software for freeAt this point we just want to make him happy. We had asked if this resolved the issue and if he was happyHe said no and that he would like our company to buy him a new computerThis seems like a very unreasonable requestWe politely declined his requestHe seemed okay with this and thanked us for our timePlease let us know if there is anything else we can do in this matter

They are tenacious in getting information from your PCThey ripped me off on billing my CCWill file suit

This company called my year old Mother and convinced her to turn her computer over to them so that they could download "anti virus" software and "HELP HER TO GET HER SLOW COMPUTER RUNNING FASTER"THEY did NOT do that!!! They asked her to get her credit card out and then they charged her $all for NOTHINGher computer had many problems after they installed something that they told her they would help her with
When we called to ask to have the charges reversed they refused to do so

I was sold their "printer repair" service by Tara who quoted a time of - hours on my computer via a remote login1/hours later I called customer service and left a message for a return callThe recording said I would not lose my place in line for customer serviceI responded to both welcome emails from their business with requests to be cancelled as no service had been provided in the alloted time quotedminutes later I called again and remained on hold for minutes before my call was answeredWhen I spoke to the customer service agent I requested their service to be cancelled as nothing had been completedminutes later I was called back by customer service congratulating me on my purchase at which point I reminded them I had cancelledAt that time they quoted a service period as - hours, sometimes hoursI again reminded them of the - window Tara had requested to remotely repair my printer which was not completed even at that later period, now

Contacted GeekBox last week to retrieve my FaceBook and E-mail accounts from hackersJake with Geek Box said no problem that their techs would fix the problem in 3-hoursTheir agents walked away from my computer with it locked up from Friday night to this last Monday with no attention from their techs and phone calls not returned or extremely long wait times for cust serviceHere we are almost a week later with no repairs as promisedThey did run scans in an attempt to solve the problems but they were not successfulAlso these scans are readily available to anyone on the internet, most have Free versionsJake at ###-###-#### w GeekBox made these promises to clean up my accounts and they did not in any way addressee the issues !

I have never written a review on a company until now I was not happy with the results of Geebox Service I connected to them as instructed and waited hours for the completion of the service IT DID NOT HAPPENAt that time I shut down the computer and went to bed The following day or two I called the credit card company and logged a complaint I then received a call from GEEK BOx that they would not refund my charges We have argued several times about this with no result I WOULD HAVE TO ADVISE ANYONE NOT TO USE THEIR SERVICE

On March 4th, I called PC Laptops for a checkup since my computer was running slowI call them regularly since I have maintenance for life covered on my PC, which I verified with the PC Laptops store where I purchased my computerI’ve had PC Laptops remote in and do a cleanup service many times over the years and never paid for itA tech remoted into my computer and said I needed a cleanup and that I had no security programs installedI said I had Eset and Malware bytes, but he said he didn’t see themHe said a cleanup was $and security for year was $I told him I had the protection plan and after placing me on hold to verify, he came back and said yes you are covered, so you would just need to pay the $for year of Eset and Malware bytesI stated to him I thought I had them and he said they would check after the cleanup and if my licenses were up to date, I would not have to payI received a call the next day from a tech that told me my Eset was valid until 1/

I purchased their product and was told I had days to cancelThey tried to take $from my bank account but I disputed this and my bank didn't pay said amountThe company was going by the name My Fast ComputerNow their going by Geek Box and are taking $per month from my account and I want my money returned and fro them to stop taking money from my accountI have tried calling this company and get a recording saying they will return my call, but they don'tI have called back many times once on hold for an hourNow checking Google seem that they are out of businessTalked to my bank and they said I can not delete an auto-pay from my account they I need to call the company and tell them to discontinue taking money out of my accountIf their closed down how can I stop this

I spoke with *** at some lengthI was able to learn more about his situation.I agreed to refund $back to ***.He found this acceptable and he considers the issue resolved

On May 6, I talked via the telephone to an Andrew who represents Geekbox, a computer service company I advised him of issues I was having with my computer and he stated Geekbox could repair the issues We then entered the payment portion which was $for a One-Time CleanI agreed and he transferred me to an "agent" who physically took over my computer and told me it could taken hours for the cleaning I agreed and went to bed
I used the computer for days and noticed it appeared that nothing had been done to CLEAN the machine I called Geekbox on May 8, and advised them of my issue They then told me they would again take over the computer and that it could take hours Again the next day I noticed there was no change in the operation of the computer
On May 11, I again called Geekbox and told them of the situation and again an "agent" told me he would take over the computer and fix the problem Again the computer still had all the issues On or about M
