August 19, face="Times New Roman"> [redacted] Revdex.com of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania K St NW, 10th floor Washington DC 20005- RE: [redacted] Insured: [redacted] Retention Number: [redacted] NAIC: [redacted] - GEICO Choice Dear [redacted] ***: Thank you for your recent inquiry dated August 10, I welcome the opportunity to discuss [redacted] ***’s concern about the differences in her quote for automobile insurance The quote [redacted] received for $per month was based one reported at-fault accident occurring in August GEICO, like most insurance companies, will request a copy of the driving record and claims history prior to binding a policyWe will obtain payment information prior to ordering these reportsIf the applicant decides after the reports are obtained not to purchase the policy, the payment is not processedThis was the situation with [redacted] *** [redacted] indicates in her letter that the premium increased due to accident that occurred four years agoAfter careful review of the application, GEICO found the following additional information on [redacted] ***’s record: · February 14, Accident · February 13, Accident · February 21, Accident · October 30, Speeding Conviction (41mph in a zone) · April 30, Speeding Conviction (31mph in a zone) After evaluating the additional activity, the best rate available at this time is $for six monthsThe first payment will be $If [redacted] would like to establish the policy at this rate, she will need to contact our office at ###-###-#### I hope this information will assist you in resolving this matter If additional information is required, please contact Terry B [redacted] at ###-###-#### or via email at [redacted] Sincerely, John *L [redacted] AVP Underwriting cc: file

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:What has been written in the letter from Geico is mostly incorrect: the case was opened without my consent, the description is part of the phone call in which I was being recorded, but I never authorized Geico to use it, nor confirmed them it was appropriate to extrapolate some sentences to make a case that does not existDuring that phone call, when the operator on the phone suggested me the first time to open the case, I also added that I was not quite sure whether the truck actually hit the car or it was just close and also that the front light I have not seen very well if it was a crack or actually as it turned on to be just a light reflex and the headlight is completely integer with no scratches onBy NYS law, if I am not mistaken, it is illegal to record a person on the phone and use the information to open a caseThis is the reason why I did not want to speak with MsAngela Z [redacted] , because so far, Geico used any phone conversation record against me and I am afraid, not being a lawyer to do something wrongThat is why I suggested MsAngela, since Revdex.com is involved, to go through them and if they have nothing to hide, there should not be any problem, instead of placing suspicious phone calls in which I am being asked further questions that have noting to do with the case opened with the Revdex.comI would also add, if I am not mistaken, that according to NYS, any accident below 1001$ does not need to be reported to any insurance (in my case exaggerating we are talking about 100$)I doubt it this law is true, that they can have a contract with me overriding the lawUsually the law comes before any private agreement according to what I know of civil cases.Basically, during the first phone call I had with Geico, all the impressions I had on the phone with them were wrong and I really had not contact with any other vehicleMy wife reported to me she had a minor scratch coming out of the garage which could be easily considered as part of the wear of the car needless to be recorded from the insuranceThey just came to know it because I was letting them know the reason why when the truck came very close to my car and I took a look of the front of my car I momentarily thought there could have been a contactI feel like after being extremely sincere with them, using extra precautions for any information they may need, I've been punished and taken advantageThere shall be no records of this case and should I call any other insurance to insure my car, I should not be quote penalized because of any unnecessary records of non-happened events Regards, [redacted]

August 18, [redacted] Revdex.com of Metropolitan Washington DC K Street NW, 10th Floor Washington, DC 20005- Regarding: [redacted] Claim Number: [redacted] Revdex.com File Number: [redacted] Dear [redacted] : We have received your letter requesting further assistance on behalf of Mr [redacted] I welcome the additional opportunity to respond to Mr [redacted] ’s concerns I apologize if there has been a misunderstanding regarding coverage under Mr [redacted] ’s GEICO Casualty Company (GEICO) policy for Mr [redacted] ’s [redacted] RamMr [redacted] ’s vehicle is insured with [redacted] , and there is valid coverage for the [redacted] Ram for the date of the accident, including Collision coverageMr [redacted] believes that an associate from our company assured Mr [redacted] and Mr [redacted] prior to the accident that any damage would be handled through Mr [redacted] ’s policy While we caution callers that their calls may be monitored or recorded, we do not keep recordings of every call receivedRather, we take a random sampling of calls for internal customer service auditsWe do not have a recording of Mr [redacted] 's call, but notes were taken during the call, and there is no documentation to support Mr [redacted] ’s assertion that GEICO agreed to provide primary and/or sole coverage for his truckAdditionally, Mr [redacted] ’s vehicle does not meet our vehicle ownership guidelines and cannot be added to Mr [redacted] ’s policyPursuant to Mr [redacted] ’s policy contract under section 3, Physical Damage: “Any insurance we provide for a vehicle you do not own shall be excess over any other valid and collectible insurance.” As Mr [redacted] does not own the [redacted] involved in the accident, and there is a valid insurance policy in force with [redacted] , the GEICO automobile policy would provide excess coverage according to the policy contact We have provided all available information, explanations and reassurances in response to Mr [redacted] ’s concernsI sincerely hope this serves to resolve themIf you have any additional questions, please contact Claims Manager, Shanaya M***, at ###-###-#### Sincerely, Shane W [redacted] | Assistant Vice President GEICO Casualty Company | NAIC: [redacted] SW/sm

Geico sent me to collections after days of nonpayment for an arbitrary fee charged for ending services with themNot only was I not aware of this fee nor do I know how it was calculated, Geico did nothing to try to notify me that it was owed before sending me straight to collections I do want to mention that when they wanted my business I was contacted repeatedly by the same agentWhere was that agent when they were about to send me to collections over $30? I was a loyal customer for nearly two years, never missed a single payment or even cost them money by filing a claimI paid the collection agency to clear the debt, and when I reached out to Geico to inquire about the fee I was met with hostilityI asked the company why they didn't try to reach me more than once for payment Although I wasn't pleased by some fee being charged to me for leaving the company, I would have paid itThe entire time I was their customer they automatically drafted the amount due to them from my account and yet they couldn't do that for this arbitrary charge? Not only did they make no attempt to inform me that I owed this amount, there was zero remorse or willingness to help me clear the credit ding This feels like retaliation by a large insurance company that is used to taking advantage people Although the charge was less than $dollars, it that equates to a lot more when it drives down my credit scoreI will never again do business with Geico

July 22, 2014Dear ***:Thank you for your July 11,inquiry.Pursuant to your request we reviewed the claim in questionThis two vehicle accident occurred on April 19, on [redacted] in [redacted] , Tennessee at approximately 5:PMThe loss involved [redacted] [redacted] ***, our insured, and [redacted] , who was insured with [redacted] The loss was reported to us by a representative from ** [redacted] ’s insurance company. Our investigation determined ** [redacted] was travelling behind ** [redacted] on [redacted] and attempted to pass her as she attempted a left turnIt was reported to us ** [redacted] was delivering pizza at the time of the lossWe spoke with ** [redacted] on April 28, and obtained a coverage statement from himIn that statement, ** [redacted] admitted he had been working as a pizza delivery person for weeks, 8-hours per day prior to the loss and he was returning to the store after completing a delivery when the loss occurredWe further verified with his employer he was on the clock at the time of the loss.***’s GEICO policy has the following language regarding food delivery:Section I, Liability Coverage ExclusionsSection I does not apply to bodily injury or property damage arising out of the ownership, maintenance, or use of an owned or non-owned auto while being used to carry persons or property for compensation or fee, including but not limited to the delivery of food or any other productsHowever, this exclusion will not apply to shared-expense car pools.AndSection III, Physical Damage Coverages ExclusionsWhen The Physical Damage Coverages Do Not ApplyAn auto used to carry persons or property for compensation or a fee, including but not limited to the delivery of food or any other products is not covered.Eased on the facts regarding the use of ***’s vehicle at the time of the loss and his policy language, it was determined this loss did not meet the qualifications of a covered loss under his policyA letter outlining this decision was communicated to ** [redacted] on June 6, 2014.We regret any inconvenience our investigation may have caused ***However, the decision appears to be appropriate in view of the facts of the claimIf you have any further questions, please contact [redacted] , Liability Claims Manager, at ###-###-####.Sincerely,

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: They never sent a written letter, I received an email on January 17th, after I called to remake a payment As for the accident in April, 2009, they did say that my husband was at fault and our monthly premiums went up to almost $per month because they paid off the car that was totaled When I called to question it, that is what their customer reps had stated over the phone I also sent them a cancelation email stating that we were cancelling our policy effective August 7, after I called them to notify them as such I received an email yesterday (I will gladly forward the email), that my policy was cancelled due to NON-PAYMENT on August 9, I sent an email, cancelling the policy on August 7th, because that was when our new policy was coming into effect with someone else They have now "backed" the cancellation to July 18th, as I found out when I called today, nor did they mention that I sent them an email on the 7th of August In fact I called them at 7:am that day because I have kept the phone call on my log and the customer service rep told me that I needed to email them a written statement to please cancel my insurance and the date it was to be in effect She also told me that the I could go online and get the email from the website, which I didI am really sick of the the underhanded things Geico has done in the recent years Each person tells another person something different I know they state of NC has a copy of my insurance policy being in effect since August 5th because they had to send a Sagreement Now, we may get charged another fee DMV fee because they have "mysteriously" lost my email of cancellation of insurance If that is not changed, I will be informing the NC Insurance Commission Regards, [redacted]

April 16, Dear [redacted] ***:Thank you for your April 11, follinquiry. We met with [redacted] and again inspected his vehicle to make sure we were openly considering his complaintAdditionally, we met with Advanced Collision (the body shop [redacted] chose to repair the loss related damages) and interviewed them about their refinish processes, reviewed a receipt provided to us by [redacted] from a prior repair at [redacted] which took place in 2011, and also called and spoke with ***.Our interview with Advanced Collision found they maintain they never used any thinner on [redacted] ’s vehicle, that they would never spray thinner randomly on a customer’s vehicle, and that [redacted] ’s vehicle arrived at their location with the paint conditions [redacted] is claiming they caused. Our review of the receipt provided found [redacted] advised [redacted] they would not warranty these types of conditions that could develop after they painted the vehicle several years ago due to prior damageOur interview of [redacted] found they admit they do sometimes use thinner on vehicles as part of their processes but they did not want to get involved with this matter. We have openly considered the merits of [redacted] ’s theory that Advanced Collision would have used thinner on his vehicle and caused damage to his paintHowever, there continues to be zero evidence that supports this theoryWe have thanked [redacted] for allowing us the time to inspect his vehicle again and apologized there is nothing more we can do to assist him with his paint condition that exists on his vehicle. If you have any further questions, please contact [redacted] ***, Auto Damage Manager, at ###-###-####.Sincerely,

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the accident happened because of the loosen wheel I am aware of my policy coverage but this is not an accident that I was involved and I am trying the insurance company to pay for some items that my policy does not cover I had an accident caused by the professionals that Geico Emergency Road Service Department sent to change my tire So all the expenses I had were the result of a poorly performed job by an employee of [redacted] Wrecker He changed the tire, told me that I could go to [redacted] , and I had this awful accident which could have been much, much worse with personal injury because he was careless The technician´s notes on the invoice do not say that I could not travel with the car, and the technician knew I was going to [redacted] , Texas, and Geico knew I was worried about the job I was getting from this technician as I called Geico and tried to get a different person to come and change my tire This request was denied by Geico Finally, I really believe that if I had a professional job at changing my tire, nothing would have happened! So I can take the losses of missing day at work and school, as well as the risks I was through with my children, and Geico should take the financial losses for providing a non-professional Emergency Road Service Regards, [redacted] ***

March 13, Dear ***: This will acknowledge receipt of your request regarding the above named insured’s private passenger automobile policyI have carefully reviewed the matter and my findings are as follows: In ***’s correspondence to your organization he alleges that GEICO increased his premium based upon a loss which he describes as his car going over an object “(probably a stone”) during a snow stormHe has requested that GEICO tailor the loss so that it does not impact his premium GEICO’s records show that ** [redacted] disclosed his loss to the GEICO claims department as running over the curb that was not visible as he was moving over to avoid another vehicleThis loss would be considered surchargeable based upon the description, but is not being surcharged at this timeThe increase in question was due to a change in rated location from Rhode Island to Massachusetts** [redacted] advised of a different rated location than what he was being rated for when he filed the claim in question It is GEICO’s position that all proper procedures were followed in handling of the policy in questionIf you have any questions, or if GEICO can be of any further service in this matter, please contact me at ###-###-#### Very truly yours,

June 3, Dear [redacted] :We received correspondence from the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) requesting assistance on your behalfI am happy to provide you with the following responseI would first like to thank you for your years of loyalty to the GEICO familyWe know you have many options when selecting an insurance company, so we truly value you as a policyholder.Prior to your renewal effective 1128/13, a California Annual Mileage and Odometer Certification form was sent to confirm the estimated annual mileage for which your [redacted] was ratedThis form indicated the mileage on this vehicle would be updated to 12,per year if the completed form was not received within days of our requestYour completed form was not receivedTherefore, the policy documents for your renewal effective 11/28/reflected an annual mileage of 12,and advised you under "Important Policy information" of this changeThis was one reason for the $premium change effective 11/28/and accounted for $of that changeThe other reason for the change in premium was a revision to our rating plan which was effective on 10/04/13; this revision of our rating plan accounted for $of the $premium changeWe do not like to see any of our policyholders adversely affected by a rate revision, but it is vital for us to charge the correct premium for each coverage and rating factor in order to maintain our long-term stability which will allow us to fulfill our commitment to provide all of our customers with the best possible service at the lowest possible costUnfortunately, the combination of revisions to our plan resulted in a small increase in your policy premiumIn the information you submitted to the Revdex.com, you indicated that we took money from your account without your knowledgeHowever, our records reflect that we sent Electronic Funds Transfer Bill Notifications on 10/25/13, 118/and on 01/18/These notifications showed a future schedule and amount of the automatic deductions from your checking accountOur records reflect that you requested another copy of the California Annual Mileage and Odometer Certification on 05/14/Upon receipt of this form, we will be happy to update your policy [redacted] , I hope this is helpful in understanding the premium changeIf you have additional questions, please call our analyst, [redacted] , at [redacted] , ext, ***

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Logically, if a vehicle hits another vehicle REGARDLESS of whether there is pre-existing damage or not, and that accident adds on additional damage and makes it worse, it doesn't make sense that it should not be coveredThe accident made it worseMy vehicle was made worse by the semi-truck hitting the left side of my car going mphI lost control of my vehicle during the accidentI couldn't even steer until moments laterHow can any of the claims adjusters not see or understand that the truck hitting my car made it worseIts deductive reasoning Lets think about thisThe right side of my rear bumper was already damaged from a previous eventThe left side of my rear bumper is where the truck hit my vehicle causing damageWhen I took my car to Westside Collison, I was told that they would not replace my bumper and that the left side would only be repairedSo I then took my car to another shop and that is when they advised that they would replace my entire bumperGeico went ahead and replace my rear bumper even with the right side having pre-existing damage that initially Geico was not going to fixWhy is it that Geico now refuses to reimburse me for damage that the accident further caused? Regards, ** [redacted]
