Regards, Due to the fact that my vehicle is in operable . And my insurance is running out in days . With my insurance company cancelling me before I get the 125 dollar check to rpair . the part they found damagewhile possibilty remain that the damage could be much more and the issue needs to be found when the diagnoses alone could take longer than two weeks due to the fact that no mechanic can get to it before than remains unresolved after I take this in to get fixed I will be paying for more insurance than I can afford . An unreasonable choice like paying more for insurance for a vehicle just to keep it on the road long enouph to be repaired and take it off again due to higher rates should not be my expence. If you would like this to be resolved pay those outragious rates until my truck is fixed . I dont want it on the road or to pay for ot while its broke down especially if I have to incure more expence .I pay for insurance . lets pit it this way . witg my new tates being what they are geico has made certain that my truck that ive aoaked thosands into is now junk . I have been with Geico for the last monthsI recently had my vehicle stolen and the process was smooth until dealing with claims agent JJ H [redacted] *D #F3** MrH [redacted] made numerous accusations against me and my stolen vehicle, could not update me with any status of the claim at any point in time, would not inform me of what was needed to resolve my claim , and made me feel as if my insurance company I trust in and pay every month is against me My claim has been open for the last months with no resolution and Mr.H [redacted] has know intent to expedite or give me any piece of mind to when this matter will be resolved This claims agents motto is to "provide excellent customer service" which is definitely lacking I work in the auto insurance industry myself and will definitely not be reccomending Geico after this experience

I’m a person that purchases a new vehicle every two yearsThanks to [redacted] and Geico I will not be able to do this with my [redacted] since its value has been severely diminished I also have an issue with the reliability of this [redacted] Since so many major components have been replaced I’m not confident in the ability the SUV will have to last as long as I need it to without running into another issue caused by this nightmareI firmly believe that if I would have been given the opportunity to have this repair done by a shop of my choice we would have known the extent of the damage prior to spending almost 80% of the total value to complete the repair, which by the way was not completeThese figures do not include the repairs currently being done I would like to reiterate that I am not confident in the reliability of this vehicle I filed this compliant because of the way I was treated by Geico representativesSince I voiced my concerns to Geico Customer Support, Lisa A [redacted] and Kyle H [redacted] have treated me and my wife with an obvious negative tone in their voice and I don’t feel that a company that sells itself as being among the best in customer service should allow employees to treat loyal policy holders as I was treatedIf Geico made the error then Geico needs to stand behind its own claims and make this customer satisfiedI also feel that if Geico stands behind the repairs and appraised value they should buy it from me for the appraised value If you have any questions or concerns to my response, please feel free to contact me at ###-###-#### I will attach supporting documentation to my response for your review Very Respectfully, [redacted]

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The letter from GEICO in response to my complaint contains material misstatements and the letters they have supplied so far are not consistent with what was requested The letter from GEICO states that they cancelled our insurance on 6/17/at our request In reality, GEICO cancelled our insurance on 6/5/- I have a letter from GEICO dated 6/5/2014, which informs me that our insurance is being cancelled as of 6/18/and that the Department of Motor Vehicles has been informed accordingly (we have kept this letter for our records and would be happy to produce a copy of this as evidence) This action was taken by GEICO days before myself and my husband's submitted written consent to cancel our insurance with GEICO on 6/17/and based on a phone conversation where I informed them that we are considering switching the providers As a result of GEICO's actions, my husband and I are now in a position where we have to defend ourselves in front of the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to prove that we have had continuous car insurance coverage While our new insurance with [redacted] became effective on 6/16/2014, i.ebefore GEICO insurance was cancelled, because GEICO informed DMV about the cancellation almost two weeks before [redacted] informed DMV about our new insurance, a case was opened against us by DMV because of lag of reporting between GEICO and [redacted] *** To make matters worse, GEICO continuously ignored requests from [redacted] and us to supply a letter confirming that we had valid continuous insurance coverage, which made it difficult for [redacted] to finalize their paperwork If you look at the letters GEICO supplied in their defense, first letter was issued on 6/20/14, i.edays after our insurance was cancelled Also, this first letter does not indicate any dates of when our coverage was effective / valid, moreover, it specifically says that the letter does not indicate continuous coverage I was outraged when I saw this letter - after having continuous coverage with GEICO for years, receiving this letter was simply hurtful and upsetting The second letter, dated 6/27/2014, was issued on the date when I filed the present complaint with Revdex.com This second letter only shows coverage for months preceding the current switchover from GEICO to [redacted] *** I would like GEICO to acknowledge, in writing, that I, [redacted] (maiden name [redacted] ) have had continuous coverage with GEICO from June when I first became a customer until cancellation on 6/17/and for my husband [redacted] from whatever date he was added to the policy to 6/17/and my husband's company Highlander Realty from whenever this entity was added to coverage to 6/17/ Finally, because circumstances have changed since the time I filed this complaint and we are now working to resolve the case opened against us by DMV because of GEICO's actions, I would also like GEICO to issue a formal letter of apology to me and my husband for causing us distress by their actions - i.ecancelling our insurance almost two weeks before we submitted a written consent and informing DMV accordingly, which resulted in us now having to prove that we have had continuous coverage, which we did Regards, [redacted] ***

I am puzzled by the response of a company with whom I have been a loyal customer for years would send me threatening letters and attack my character

May 13, 2014 Dear [redacted] ***:Thank you for your letter of inquiry dated May 6, 2014.After reviewing the file, we have agreed to handle the damages to [redacted] 's vehicle as a courtesy even though she added Collision coverage one day prior to the loss. On April 22, 2014, we issued payment in the amount of $4,784.59 to [redacted] Auto body for the repairs to [redacted] 's vehicle and $1,000 to [redacted] for her rental vehicle.Claims Manager [redacted] called [redacted] on May 13, 2014 to explain we had received her complaint and were responding accordingly.If any additional information is needed, please contact [redacted] , Claims Director at ###-###-####.

Let's start with the agent who sold me my auto insurance told me I would be covered even if I uber. That was 100% not the case. After I was in an accident I was informed I was not covered while ubering and I would have to use my supplemental insurance that uber provides. That's fine I'll pay the extra $500 deductible with the uber insurance. But now they are unwilling to provide proof of insurance or a certificate of compliance to the BMV. Because of this my license has been suspended and I drive for a living. Until this is rectified I will tell everyone I know that you guys lie and don't give a [redacted] about your customers. I would be more than happy to reevaluate this review if you guys get ahold of me and fix this issue which is highly unlikely.
