What a nightmare!
I invested 4months into refinancing my mortgage with Global Equity Finance. It was a total waste of time. I had to pay upfront 1,000 for an appraisal and $375.for an "Engineer's Report", and they wanted another $2,000 upfront to put some anchor straps on the already permanent foundation of my manufactured home. My loan was stalled because I get my mail in a post office. I felt discrimination because I live in a small mountain town and the local post office will not deliver mail to a residence address. This company extorted money from me during the loan process that caused a financial
crisis, causing me to be unable to pay my existing mortgage payment on time.
My payment was late, affecting my credit negatively. I was told every week that my loan was ready to close and then they would come up with more restrictions and unnecessary services for me to pay for- right then, not when the loan closed. The estimated closing costs went from $3,000 to $17,000. After they ruined my credit, my loan was rejected.

Thank you for your standard canned response, but I have received no emails, voice mails, text messages or phone calls addressing your shady and opportunistic business style. Furthermore, I don't know what you are talking about when saying something about debts and the title company. However, I would be willing to entertain a cash offer to reimburse me for the money I paid and no more or less.

According to your initial signed pre-disclosures you were opting for a FHA loan I'm confused as to why you signed these disclosures and agreed they were correct if you were not interested in a FHA loan? The reason why we send out all these disclosures and require them to be signed and returned is to confirm that we have the correct agreed upon terms

Listen to the recorded phone callsI was adamant that I wasn't interested in an FHA loan! He twisted the system and used it against usHe DEFRAUDED us!! He led us to believe that the conventional loan was an option for us The process of this loan application should have never gone any further than a consultation, because you do not have a product that is available in my best interestThe loan officer just wanted his paycheck and he would accomplish it any way he could In Division of the California Financial Code and starts with Section The general purpose of the law is to protect borrowers against unfair practices by lendersThe laws also seek to motivate lenders to develop processes and practices in the consumers' best interest and promote a solid business environment in the stateWhich you did not clearly adhere to I trusted the experience and professionalism of the loan officerI am not the professionalHe should have known the standard guidelines of a conventional loan, of which I did not qualify for! He made the mistake! He tried to flip, twist, be-creative, whatever you want to call it, just to close the loan and get paid! The current loan we have is a way better option than an FHA loan! My refinance was a very pleasant experience [redacted] was my agent and was super helpful He answered every question I asked, usually by email, and always responded promptly His team, GEQ Private Client Group, were very helpful in this processI really felt the information [redacted] gave me was truthful and he was so knowledgeable When he asked me what my property was worth and I didn't know, he took the steps needed to do a little research to give me an idea if this was something that would work for me Nobody had done that for me All of the other refinance companies put it back on me, telling me I needed to get that information, like I would know what to do [redacted] did a little research and had this information in less than minutes Because of that one piece of information, I chose to move forward with *** The process went fast and smooth I would definitely recommend Global Equity Finance for a refinance

Folks, We're happy to solve this but it can only be solved with [redacted] ***'s help If [redacted] can continue correspondence with [redacted] - the Compliance Director- everything can be resolved We reached out to [redacted] ***, the last debt, and they confirmed the address was incorrect This address was confirmed by the borrower (per LO) to be correct [redacted] has agreed to take the payment waiving all late charges A Stop Payment was issued on the original check & a check to be shipped to the correct address today/tomorrow Chicago Title also got the VP to approve late fee reimbursements for her other debts, with statements confirming all the late charges, and will offer to rectify any credit issues with the debtors This would take care of the late fees & credit issuesMonica & [redacted] called [redacted] again just now Her husband picked up & said she is unavailable until tomorrow or the day after We did call from Chicago Title's line, she will call in an hour (husband is currently driving) to leave a message from her line with an update Again, this requires communication from [redacted] to [redacted] to resolve
