I was told by the sales manger that the Mercedes ML would pass the Maryland Vehicle Inspection because it pass the Virginia Vehicle InspectionMy wife and I were rushed through the contract and lied to a number timesWe just spent an additional $for the vehicle to pass the Maryland InspectionWe were promised a Car fax in which we never gotI then went to the website to contact someone and to file my review only to discover that those pages do not upload

Attached is the buyers order for Mr [redacted] .He purchased the [redacted] from us in a cash deal As you can see from the buyers order, we did not charge taxes or tags and are not responsible for getting the license plates to Mr [redacted]

Our pre owned cars are always sold as is, unless a prior agreement is made before purchase. In this case, the client did not purchase additional warranty and signed off on the purchase of the car on the "as is " condition. When we intake a car during our sourcing process, we take the car... through a 200 point process at our shop. We take extra precautions to be sure that the autos we sell are in the best possible condition for our clients. In the case of this automobile, there wasn't a problem during our inspection of the vehicle.

I am rejecting this response because:
they are missing the point. It doesn’t matter if we bought a warranty or
not, it doesn’t matter that we bought an "as is" car from them that had major
problems. What matters is as customers
we had a problem and called them to resolve it.
It was their lack of customer service that created the issue. We have no problems supplying the documents
showing we paid $to have a diagnostic done on the vehicle 10/14/and
received a quote for $to have it repaired.
On 11/04/we went in to have the paperwork properly filled out, at
that point we were told by Zack that they would pay half (as acknowledged in
his response) but, he would get with the mechanic and get back to us for our
cost. The next day, Vince called to tell
us he would charge us $for the repair if we bring it back in. Zack is correct, we did not call back and we
did not bring it back in. It was not a
resolution. $for a catalytic
converter is a rip off and we weren’t going to let them do it to us again. We installed a new catalytic converter that day
Our complaint is how they handled this whole thing
Not because they sold us an "as is" car that needed repairs but, because they
offered to split the cost of repairs then wouldn’t call us back for weeksNow
adding all these lies, it’s just painful.
The only offer Vince made was to pay for half of the repair, which by
Zack’s own admission Zack offered that to us personally. I’m not sure why he is saying Vince would be
terminated for that? Or that it is not
their business practice? Then why did
Zack offer it to us himself? We never
said Vince offered us anything more than that.
It is just circles with these guys.
Quite frankly it speaks to their integrity
The resolution we asked for
was $which is l/of what they offered to pay in the first place. We did have to pay to repair the vehicle in
order to register it as required by Virginia
state law. In the end it made no sense
to pay them $for half of a repair and not know when and if the job would
be done. The repairs were not done prior
to 10/29/when we filed this complaint like Zack believes. I can provide documentation for that as
well. They lost customers because they
would not call back; they took almost a month to give us an outrageous price
quote and then lied about the whole thing.
We have no reason to lie, what do we gain? There has been no apology, no excuse, and no
acknowledgement of the fact they did not call us back for weeks. That is and always has been the issue. G & N Auto is quite literally the worst
company we have ever dealt with

I apologize for the delay in responseI hope this letter will clear up any unresolved issues.Obviously, this vehicle was disclosed as being sold AS ISI encouraged *** to purchase some mechanical breakdown coverage but he assured me that should any issues with the vehicle occur, he
had his own avenues to remedy themIt was inferred by him that because he had friends in the auto service industry that purchasing a service contract was completely out of the questionWhen the issue with the catalytic converter came up we serviced it at no chargeWhen *** called back and demanded a new catalytic converter, the service department offered a solutionThey offered to replace the catalytic converter and split the costI personally relayed this message to ***In the end, the truck was never brought back for the repair because he wanted GN Auto to pay a shop of his choicing for the repairs and for obvious reasons that was never an optionI haven't heard from *** directly since.Thanks again for your patience regarding these mattersI hope this will answer any questions and bring closure these casesGeneral Manager GN Auto LLC
