Anybody ordering anything from the GOV X website. Buyer beware. I purchased an item that didn't fit. I paid to have it shipped back and they deducted money from my refund for shipping.

Mr. [redacted] order was initially delayed. Per his request, I did request to cancel his order on 11.19.15. My contact had already processed his order with his warehouse and the tracking number posted to Mr. [redacted] order the next day. I left a voicemail for the customer to notify that I was unable...

to cancel his order and I apologized for the delay and any inconvenience this caused. Then a return was processed for his order and when he was refunded his amount didn't reflect the shipping cost of $7.95 since his order did in fact ship to him. He then emailed our general sales inbox inquiring about this and it was explained to him as to why this happened. Per our policies, we don't refund shipping on orders unless the entire order was cancelled successfully and we don't provide return shipping labels unless their is something wrong with the product upon receipt. However, a courtesy has been extended to the customer and he has since been refunded the original shipping charge of $7.95. If there is any more information you would like me to provide in regards to the solution for this complaint, please let me know and I will be glad to help. Thank you!

The customer placed an order using a one time use $20 coupon that was then returned to sender. Upon being rec'd by the brand, instead of fulfilling my request to have it shipped to a new address, the brand processed his order as a return. I wasn't able to get a hold of the customer over the phone to...

explain this so I sent him an email stating as much and notifying him that if he had any questions that he could contact me directly. Then he called me and inquired about being able to reuse the coupon that he originally used in the order. I explained that per our policy we aren't able to reissue coupons that have been used but that as a courtesy to him that I can provide him with a credit of half of the coupon value ($10) to use on our site on his next purchase. He then hung up on me. Per his request in his complaint to the Revdex.com, I have asked the brand to double his order and reship it to his new address on our dime. I have notified the customer that I am working of fulfilling his resolution via email. Presently, I am only waiting for a tracking number confirmation to send to the customer to confirm his Revdex.com request is being taken care of. The entire email chain of my conversation with the customer is attached in addition to my request to get his order reshipped. Please advise as to whether or not more information is required. [redacted]

In their application they ask to “use my registration information for the purpose of accessing Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) U.S. Military records to confirm my military status”. Proof of service is expressly why a DD214 is issued. In my 26 years of active duty and 32 years of retirement I have never been asked to give access to my military records for anything - a loan, a job, credit, insurance, cars/trucks, anything. I am a life member of VFW & MOAA, and member of Fleet Reserve, Viet Vets, etc, etc and never have I ever been asked to give cart blanc permission to access my military records to anyone – a DD214 has always sufficed – even the Social Security Administration only required a certified copy of my DD214 to verify my service. For a discount retail concern to want unrestricted access to my military records sounds very suspicious, why does a commercial entity need even limited access to your military records. Don’t be surprised if you try to get a passport someday and you are told that one has already been issued to you.

Hi [redacted],  I am incredibly sorry for my delay in following up with you. I take full responsibility for this and I can't blame you for being upset and for submitting a Revdex.com complaint; I would have done the same thing. I can promise you that everyone at GovX, self included, has the utmost...

regard for you and all of our members. It is our mission to take care of our members as best as we can and to always improve what we are doing for them. I know your interaction with me shows otherwise but I promise this is not the norm. Please accept my sincerest apologies for the delay in getting your order issue addressed.  Please use the attached label to ship back the Garmin product. As soon as there is movement on the label showing it is in transit towards its warehouse, I will have my accounting team issue your refund. To track this, I have set up a daily calendar reminder for myself for everyday for the next week to check on the tracking number to ensure that I get your refund processed as quickly as possible. See the attached images. Lastly, as a token of my apology and should you decide to give us another chance, I have added a $50 credit to your GovX account to used towards your next order.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to let me know. Take care. [redacted]GovX Customer Care Team Manager www.GovX.com9191 Towne Centre Drive, Suite 210San Diego, CA 92122Toll Free Number: 888.468.5511Local: 858.224.7800Toll Free Fax: 888.468.4559Local Fax: 858.224.7898

I have nothing but good things to say about GovX. The merchandise I ordered was exactly what I received and it is of good quality! I hope they are able to expand and carry even more products at a good price for our men and women of the Armed Forces!

On 5.24.16, Mr. [redacted] reached out to us and spoke with one of my Customer Care Agents. A copy of their correspondence is attached and the text is listed below from the most recent email that was sent to Mr. [redacted] and goes back to his first email to us on 5.24.16:[redacted] Thursday 10:28...

am[redacted], You had two credits that had expired last year, one in November and one in December.  Best, [redacted] Thursday 10:21 amHow many credits have I had which expired?-- [redacted] May 26 08:05 amHey [redacted], I took a look into your account, and it looks like $60 of those credits you had were used on an order you placed back on August 15th, 2015 on order #262520.  You also had two other $15 credits that expired back in November and December of 2015, leaving two active credits left on your account at this point, amounting to that $30.  Those credits will expire on July 6th and August 20th respectively, and you should receive emails notifying you when those credits are close to expiring. Thanks for reaching out to us, and please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.Best, [redacted] May 25 03:07 pm[redacted] or [redacted] May 24 02:13 pmHey [redacted], We can definitely look into your account, but we would need the email address that you used to sign in with GovX.  I tried looking up this email that you contacted us from, however it didn't match any accounts in our system.  Please provide the email that you signed up with, and we'd be happy to look into your account.Best, [redacted] May 24 12:19 amI was about to order the [redacted] Mach 5 backpack but I thought I had much more credits than only the $30 credit it was showing me. Please check my referrals and let me know. I thought I had like twice that much in credit because I've referred quite a few people..---Outside of the above most recent emails that were exchanged with him, we also have credit reminder and expiration emails that are sent to our members. I can confirm that four of these emails were sent to him. A screenshot of the email where the VP of Digital Media confirms these emails were sent via our transactional marketing system is attached and the contents of that email are listed below: OK. Here is what I have found. He unsubscribed on 9/4/15 at 10aBecause the email is set to transactional, it will go even to unsubscribed emails. It went to him 4 times: 11/26/2015 5:10 [redacted]12/27/2015 5:55 [redacted]11/20/2015 5:01 [redacted]12/21/2015 5:47 [redacted]I confirmed that they were all delivered and none bounced. Thanks![redacted]Vice President of Digital Media & Analytics---We value Mr. [redacted]’s membership so we have decided to add the aforementioned GovX credits that total $30 back to his account. All of our credits do contain an expiration date so this credit will expire on 7.1.16. If there are any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Best, [redacted]Customer Care Manager[redacted]
