Despite several attempts to successfully file my Aflac claims; they have been delayedPer my calls once I received denial letters for policy payouts, I learned that my policy was canceled despite me paying months of advance for policyI have also received a check for overpayment of policies which is not the issueThe issue is that there was an error on Alfac's end to properly port the policy causing a delay and ultimately denying my claimsEvery time I call the representatives have a difficult time following the breadcrumbs of fellow reps that work behind each other causing complete chaosI'm having to explain my story every timeAll I want is to collect my hospital and wellness claims

My complaint is with the Auditor who is reviewing my claim and NOT DOING HER JOBCustomer Service will not tell me her name or let me speak with her
I submitted a claim for short term disability and it was denied
May 2, 2017, I requested the claim be reviewed a second time and submitted the proper paperwork
On May 10, I was told the claim would be reviewed in hours
May 11, the auditor requested additional info and my doctor provided it that same morning
May 16, I called and was told the auditor had not yet reviewed the claim and I should call back in hours
May I called and the claim had still not been reviewed I asked to speak with the auditor and was told that was not allowed and I couldn't even know her name The service rep confirmed the doctors notes had been received on the 11th and she emailed the auditor to request expedited review and then told me to call back in hours

Aflac and several of it's employees have reached out to me unsolicited regarding employment opportunities On two occasions over the phone I have instructed them to remove my name from their solicitation list On two occasions via email, I have done the same They are still contacting me, despite my requests to stop

I have submitted claims with Aflac regarding an accident, and the other regarding a death
Both times they have made this process miserable Not only does it take an act of God to get them to cover a claim They require that you do all of this while you are grieving a loss
As if you do not already have enough on your mind to deal with I would send information, forms, documents several times, and always they needed more
Do yourself a big favor and DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!

This company has the worst customer serviceI was disappointed with how may STD policy was handledI had just had a baby and felt like this situation could have been handled a lot BETTER!!! FYI, there are no updates to STD policy on the websiteIt's like the stone agesI was given inaccurate information by several representatives every time I called in and was utterly exasperated with the processSo many excuses were madeThe company was backlogged and I needed to wait a couple of weeks, ieI was completely disappointed with this companyOverall, I would give a (-)100!

During the sales process I was assured that I would get great service and they would make sure I used the insuranceThey would be bugging me all the time making sure I used itthat was the last time I saw themI have contacted them for over a month now with delayed response at best two weeks after I contact themClaim to have left me messages that aren't on my phone, continue to promise to come straighten this out and never show upI got in an accident in September and still haven't seen anything from itBeen to the doctors numerous times, but haven't talked to anyone to collect on the services in paying forI have had no representationI have asked for the service to be cancelled numerous times and my request is completely ignoredI have informed them I will not pay anything else, and still no reasonable responseThis is the worst service that I have ever gotten on anything

My husband went out on disability on August 13thI have talked to at least different people and finally got the paperwork filled outThey sent ONE payment and then stopped! I called and asked why, they say oh you need to fill out continuation paperworkI do and still nothing I called again today and they say now you need more paperwork filled out from the employerThey are the worst company ever to work withThey have NO problem taking money out but DO NOT WANT TO PAY! I cannot handle all the bills by myself and we are in serious trouble! Two kids and no food in the house! So much fun!

Worst experience I ever had with a business!! I had surgery 12/05/@ 5:a.mand was released from the hospital 12/06/12:pmI filed a hospital indemnity claimed the same day I was released from the hospitalI had to take off from work for two weeks to recover from my major surgeryI did not get any kind of pay for the two weeks that I had to take off but hey, that's what good ol Aflac is for right? WRONG!! I called to check the status of my claim the very next weekI was told that even tho I signed a consent form for them to dig into my medical records if need be, I had to go out of my way and hound the hospital for the documents that was neededIt was very stressful going back and forth getting each form that was needed, especially because Aflac could have done this themselves, that's what I signed the medical record consent form forEach time I sent in one form, I called to follow up and was told I needed another formI must have called Aflac three times a day checking my status and seeing what other verification was neededEach time I called I was assured that I'd be paid up to $for the initial 24+ hour hospital admission and $per day for every hours after the initial hours as long as I had proof that I was confined for over hoursI first turned in my discharge papers and itemized billI was told that the itemized bill didn't have the codes that was needed, so I had to hound the hospital again and get the UBOformI faxed Aflac my UBOform and was then told that it didn't have the specific times and that's all that was needed to have my benefits paid out to meI went to the hospital AGAIN and had a form printed out that had EVERYTHING that was requested from Aflac all in one! It had the exact dates, the exact times that proved I was confined over hours, it had the codes that was needed, everything!! Frustrated, I called Aflac again to see if it was processed hours after I faxed itA representative then told me that I was not billed for a private room and because of that, I was only entitled to $that they sent out already and should be direct deposited to my cardMind you in the four weeks I was going back and forth with Aflac, I was misinformed so many times and could NEVER get a straight answerEvery time I requested to speak with a supervisor I was told that I would be contacted by one within 24-hours and even when I called back letting them know I didn't get the call back, I STILL couldn't speak directly with anyone in chargeI didn't get paid for the two weeks of work I had to take offI'm a single mother of three kids and I should have received my benefits well before Christmas and because of Aflac giving me the run around and not doing their job, I was late on rent by January 1st and had to take out a loan that I can't afford to pay back any time soonAflac hasn't returned any of my phone calls and I feel scammed! Regardless of what Aflac covers, I was told one thing numerous times then told the complete opposite and I still never heard the terms and conditions directly from a manager like I requestedOnly when I asked to be discharged from their insurance did they pay out my benefitsI still want to speak to a supervisor! I need to know why they handled everything so unprofessionally? Why I had to pull teeth to get what I was rightfully entitled to? Why did I get so much misleading info from the Aflac representatives and lied to countless times? Why didn't a supervisor call me back and explain everything that happened? So you mean to tell me if I wasn't as persistent as I was I would have never received what I was promised by Aflac in the first place? How many other people have been scammed into paying an insurance company that doesn't assist you when needed like they're supposed to? This is so wrong and unprofessional and I'm currently seeking a lawyer being that Aflac still can't resolve their own issuesI will never recommend Aflac to anyone and I will always tell people how shady they are when they're brought to my attentionWorst insurance company EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

I was injuried on January 30, while exercisingI went to urgent care the following day for treatment I submitted a claim on February 8, with the current documents I had and submitted additional medical documents after seeing the orthopedic specialist on February 13, and have been out of work since February 14, being placed on light duty status On said day I called and checked the claim status and it still had not been processed and was informed that it won't until the 16th of FebruaryFriday, February 16, my claim has been processed in the amount of Aflac Group is by far the worst insurance company I've dealt withDon't be distracted by the commercialsI called Aflac customer service department to cancel my policy and even that experience was awfulNO CUSTOMER RETENTION what so ever

Hospital Claim Still Outstanding After Months
I originally enrolled in this plan effective 10/1/ On 11/16/2016, I saw my primary physician, Dr*** *** XXX-XXX-XXXX for an inflamed sebaceous keratinous cyst on my lower back At that time, I was placed on antibiotics with a follon 11/21/ At that appointment, he referred me to a surgeon, Dr*** *** for immediate surgery to be performed the same day The procedure was done in his surgical room of the surgeon's office to open up the cyst to drain the massive infection I submitted a claim for this procedure, but was denied Even though it was a surgical procedure, it was not performed in a hospital
After allowing time for the infection to drain and the site to heal, a follow up appointment with the surgeon after the holidays indicated that surgery was required to remove the entire cyst, foreign body, and surrounding areas This surgery was performed on 2/8/in Peconic Bay Medical Center a h

I was recruited by Aflac as an agentThey assisted with obtaining my licenseI was told that it was a requirement to open your initial policies on yourself, but you didn't have to use themI opened a cancer and accident policy as instructed by my recruiterI didn't work much as an agent and decided to cancel my policiesI cancelled my accident and cancer policy in June or JulyI received documentation a few months later saying my premium was due for the cancer policyI called Aflac to inform them this was cancelled when the other policy was cancelledThey said for some reason this wasn't doneSo I needed to cancel at that point in October and to send in a written description for refundI did so and never received a responseWhen I called I was denied refund because policy was cancelled day after policy draft dateThey never took responsibility for not cancelling my policy when I tried to initially with the accident policyThat documenta

The agents have no idea what they are doing
As a company, DO NOT get involved with Alfac nor sign up with them as an employerIt's so much easier for the employer to have each employee manage their own policesEach employee can do this on their own and it's quick and easy on Aflac website

Where to start? AFLAC Pay Day claim, isn't truthful and they don't stand behind their word
I would like to place a complaint against AFLAC ONE DAY PAY According to the many ads, one day pay would take up to four days and there isn't thing stating that you will need a 12-month amount of notes On March 23, I went into the hospital to receive a total hysterectomy and according to customer service, all I would need to process my claim through my husband's hospital policy through Aflac, would be the operative notes, the UBnotes, and the physician notes explaining with detailed information on why I would need my uterus removed Now, since all of this information as been submitted, now my husband receives a letter stating that I will need to submit 12-months of doctor's note I have not gone to the doctor since and it is stated through my PCP and my OB/GYN doctor My husband is paying over $a month and for what? Like I have sent them a letter explaining this, how can they rec

This company is the worst insurance company ever, we have been waiting a month from a response that a claim we filed in October, we keep getting the run aroundWe was suppose to get a response in days that was October 24, Needless to say they don't care!!!!

Almost a complete scamThey do whatever they can to make it as hard as possible to get a claim approvedThis company should not only be out of business, it should be investigated by any and all relevant regulatory agenciesDo not ever give them a dime
