Run away from them as fast as you can! My husband and I have a policy with AflacWe were in a car accident, and submitted a claim on our policiesI submitted everythingAfter not hearing anything for a while, we made multiple attempts to contact our agent, all which failedShe never tried to get back to usI submitted a request for help to the websiteWhen we finally received a response it was that they needed the police reportIt had already submitted it, but I sent it again, via mail as they couldn't take another upload to the site for whatever reasonWhen we finally received a response on that it was that they needed a legible police reportThe copy I sent is legible, and far better than the originalThis is just another tactic to not pay on a claimFrom my experience they will do anything possible to not pay a claimForget the one day pay out or any payment at all from what I have seenI would recommend staying away from this company and never getting a policyIn my opinion it's a waste of money and a scam!

I have been an AFlac customer, with policies, for over yearsI first used a policy this last year,and received notice of cancellation last month
I have been paying Aflac $monthly since for policies; Cancer, Short term disability and Hospitalization I carried the policies between 2002-as wellI became very ill last April and my dr suggested I use the SD policy ($1000/month)Aflac made it very difficult, but with enough calls/faxes/letters, I was able to collect until 12/ I then received a letter of cancellation due to nonpayment Aflac claimed that I was months past due? I immediately faxed and mailed bank statements (twice) I called countless times, as I had a hospitalization claim in at the time (still do), and each rep denied getting the letters They now ignore all my calls, have never explained how they are coming up with these figures, and my claim has been ignored, although my last check was cashed (Jan 2018)

Cancelled policy several months ago but Aflac continues to deduct premiums Called to cancel again today sat on hold for over minutes without being able to talk to a representative No way to contact corporate and I am very disappointed with lack of service and resolution I expect a resolution and a refund

Aflac is extremely easy to enroll, but completely impossible to be granted a claimI have been denied again and again due to "pre-existing conditions." Even after speaking to a large number of different representative with Aflac, they still have not made it clear what time period applies with a pre-existing conditionAlso, every time I speak with anyone, they tell me I will receive a call, I have NEVER received a call from anyone from Aflac

I first enrolled in Aflac in October Open Enrollment through my employerThis month I turn XX years oldI feel I am good healthUnder the definition of pre-existing, at my age in life, there will not be anything I could be approved for a claim, everything would be a pre-existing conditionNow another season of Open Enrollment has passed by, due to IRS rules, I am forced to pay premiums for a policy that will never cover anything I might encounter
If I knew now that Aflac would never cover any of my future conditions, I would have never enrolled with Aflac

Worst company EVERCustomer service employees are blatant liarsHave had my short term disability claim for nearly weeksEvery medical record there is has been sent to them, but aren't good enough because there is nothing in there for them to deny meSo they just keep stalling claiming they need more records when there is no more to provide

I wouldn't give them one star I have been getting the "we didn't receive that fax" for the past monthI broke my arm on Labor Day, and I'm still waiting for a disability check!

Cancelled my policies as of 10/01/account was being paid via automatic deductions from pay check,company has failed too notify my employer that I no longer have their services so that the deductions can stop so as of 11/30/I'm still having deductions taken out of pay check being paid to Aflac because they have failed to contact employer which is only way that employer can stop deductions if Aflac contacts them personally.I have reached out to Aflac every week since 10/24/and have yet to see results.Contacted employer on 11/29/and they say they have not heard from Aflac on my behalf

I had a baby in August and called Aflac to ask if the policy I paid for for months covered the deliveryThe first person I spoke with on November 20th looked up my policy using my employee numberI had asked specifically if my plan covered my C sectionShe told me it did and told me what forms I needed to sendI ran all over the city and spent all day on the phone trying to get the documents needed for the claim and faxed them throughI spoke to several people over the course of a week who all asked for my number to access my policy, looked at my forms which I had submitted and told me what I still needed to complete the claimOne person told me I needed an admit diagnosis code after sending pages of all the codes from my admission so I called medical records at my hospital who did not understand what I was asking forI called Aflac back minutes later to ask exactly what it was that I needed where they again looked up my policy and looked over my paperworkThis person told me I didn't need anything else that what I provided was sufficient enoughI called on December 5th and asked about the status on my claim yet again and was told it would be processed by midnightI call again on December 6th and they tell me my claim was not approved because my policy didn't cover the deliveryI spoke to several people over the course of a week and was told that my policy did cover delivery and never once was told there was any issues with my claim and policyI am very upset because I would think with providing my personal information to look up my policy and having a couple people go through the forms I submitted to ensure I wasn't missing anything, I would have been told at some point in the beginning that it wasn't covered under my policy so I wouldn't have wasted my time gathering documents

AFLAC phone system states over an hour wait times and I've waited up to hours before to reach customer service before hanging upI've filed a claim that was coded as illness which has a day period and the claim was for an accident that I have day period and have filed an appealThe overall AFLAC service needs an overhall as they are taking our money and not assisting us in our claims

claims disappear off of website without any explanation
I have been with this company for over years in the past weeks I have had to accident claims that I have filed just disappear off of the "claims" part of the websiteThere hasn't been any review of the claim, it is just disappearswhen I call I am told that they never received the claim and to re submit itI have done this with the same results

I changed my Aflac policies to my employer 1/1/2017, I found that Aflac was still billing my credit cardI contacted the agent and the company with no resultsAflac agents work on commission and don't seem to communicate with other sections of the companiesI canceled all my accounts 1/1/they are still billing my credit cardThere is no way to change my credit card information on their web siteThere is one gentleman I am working with now that I am hoping can resolve my issues so I don't need to take further actions

I am not being helped and not getting my claim for my daughter who had to get stitches from a dog bite
