Thanks once again for the opportunity to resolve this matter. In our last response it was made clear that on December 30th GAFCo offered to reinstate the same as cash promotion providing no payments are late going forward. Ms. [redacted] Revdex.com response on February 22nd rejecting this offer, I don’t know what more we can offer since the request to reinstate the same as cash is what she was seeking in the original complaint. Also, I’d like to point out that Ms. [redacted] previous [redacted] account she did comply with the same as cash terms. This is not the first account that she has had with GAFCo.

First I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this matter has caused Mr. [redacted]. After reviewing the complaint we can appreciate the reason for Mr. [redacted]‘s dissatisfaction.  We want to accommodate his request of obtaining a new contract for the items he kept, after...

cancelling the original order.  Per company policy, in order to void out the original first contract, Gafco needs to receive a new signed contract.  Mr. [redacted] will not be responsible for two contracts as mentioned in his complaint.  Gafco has expressed this request to Mr. [redacted] several times, only resulting in Mr. [redacted] using foul language towards our representatives. At this time we would greatly appreciate if Mr. [redacted] would sign the new contract to resolve this issue.  We will return the first contract to Mr. [redacted] immediately upon receipt of the new contract.   Even though we have yet to receive a new signed contract with the merchandise kept by Mr. [redacted], his current account has been credited for the undelivered furniture without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions of this contract. The amount of the Finance Charge was also reduced accordingly.   We want to resolve this matter as soon as possible.      We at Gafco do value our customers and any way we can improve and make their experience enjoyable we will take the appropriate steps in doing so.

I received your email with the response from Great American Finance, Thank you for your help Miss [redacted] has never brought the connector to my home, I've went there directly spoke with there supervisor ([redacted] City on route [redacted] wouldn't provide his last name) and he said there's nothing they can do and the pieces were unavailable. They have come to my home with nothing but a delivery sheet to sign, me or my fiancé never sign because we don't have what's needed to complete our furniture. In reference to my credit report issue a payment won't retroactively repair the damages that was done to my scores. The contract I will send once I get home states a payment isn't due until completion of delivery, that's not word for word but once I'm home I'll retrieve the contract and fax it to you directly. Is there a direct fax number available for you.

No one from [redacted] ever delivered any connectors. I even went to [redacted] and they didn't have them there either. A major issue is the fact that money was removed from my account prior to the authorized date and the contract says no payment should be paid until furniture is complete.

I'm sure a copy of the attached contract can clear up any confusion regarding the same as cash option. The terms for the attached contract...

are - 18 months at $113.66. In addition to these terms, GAFCo offered an "option" of paying the account off within 360 days at zero finance charge. This is not a requirement for financing with our company. For the customers that do opt to take advantage of the zero financing most will target that date by increasing their monthly payments to have the account paid by the expiration date. The expiration date for the same as cash is listed on the second page of our payment booklets. In the case of Ms. [redacted] that date was February 6, 2014. We have no way of knowing which customers will take advantage of the zero financing. Most customers pay full term in order to reestablish and strengthen their credit score. The reason why we don't send monthly statements is because we issue one payment booklet that can be used throughout the contract.
In response to Ms. [redacted]'s desired resolution - the desire to have the finance charge reversed completely, GAFCo hereby agrees to her request. Please contact our office to make final payment of $185.98. In response to Ms. [redacted]'s request that GAFCo should send notification regarding the expiration date of the zero finance, please note that this information appears on page two of our payment booklets. In response to no call back, attempts were made, but we do apologize for any oversights, it was not intentional. I hope this resolution is to your satisfaction and that you will continue to use GAFCo as your go to finance company. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to respond.

Since Mr. [redacted] has agreed to our proposal, Great American Finance Co updated all three credit reporting agencies that his account never rolled 30 days delinquent. The update should take place within the next 7 - 10 days. If I can be of further assistance in this manner please contact our office.

Gafco helped me out very good as easy as 1-2-3. Very friendly & very eager to help! Gafco will always be helpful to me. The interest rate wasn't too high like other loan places.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I am accepting this statement at this time only because we will pay off the $882.86 within the next 60 days.
"As of 01/15/16 the payoff amount of Ms. [redacted]’s account is $882.87 with a total balance of $ 1282.60"  The figures on the credit report do not indicate a balance $882.87.  It clearly shows a higher balance and a higher credit-to-balance ratio that could be damaging my credit score.
Sincerely,
Amy [redacted]

I would tell a friend about GAFCO.

I've been speaking and dealing with Priscilla since I connected with your company. She was through, very good at explaining the process and very eager to help me in any way. Her customer service relations are awesome! I would recommend your company to friends and family. :)

First I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this matter has caused Ms. [redacted]. After reviewing the complaint we can appreciate the reason for Ms. [redacted]’s dissatisfaction.  Our company provides a 10 day grace period after the payment due date.  Ms.  [redacted]’s payment...

due is on the 3rd of every month.  Any payment received after the 13th of each of month is considered late and will accrue a late fee of $15.00.The account received two late payments after the 10 day grace period. The payment for 02/03/15 was received on 02/17/15 check#575 and the payment for 04/03/15 on 04/15/15 check#532. The account was charged a late fee for the late payments. We apologize for the misunderstanding and will provide Ms. [redacted] her refund. The account will be reported as in Paid in full as of 09/14/15.
