This complaint is without merit.  [redacted] is an adult, she provided a temp license, took a test drive and was satisfied, and she purchased her vehicle As-Is.  See attached.  We have no further comment. Thank you.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12472548, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. So how long do people have to come get their stuff out of the car?

This matter has been resolved to the satisfaction of all parties.  We have no further comment.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12792027, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.

Sorry for the delay, in response to the complaint #[redacted] please see attached applicable As-Is documents signed by [redacted].  Thank you.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I feel that I was taken advantage of this being my first time purchasing a car. I also feel that according to the Ohio lemon law that I at least had limited amount of days to return a car that is not safe or able to be driven. And I knew nothing about getting car insurance, yet it was stated in the contract that I was going to get insurance after Richard told me to let him know if I got into a car accident. My mom called on my behalf 72 hrs after I had the car trying to get him to get me my money back because the car is in need of costly repairs more than what he sold me the car for and I don't feel that is right. Not to mention Richard told my mom that I came to the car lot with four others that had license but I only came with one person and she was unlicensed also. Richard rushed me through all the paper work,he read things to me that I didn't understand and wouldn't give me a chance to ask questions.

[redacted] is $900 - NINE HUNDRED dollars - past due on payments, and is complaining we wanted her to pay just $250?!  We obviously made a mistake trying to cut this customer a break.  It's clear now we should have just repo'd the car when she first fell behind, and then demanded payment...

of the full past due balance.  We do want to thank Ms. [redacted] for pointing out our leniency.  We offer affordable cars to folks that may not be able to qualify elsewhere - for most customers, if you have a valid license and cash for your downpayment - you're approved!  And if our established customers fall behind on payments, we do oftentimes try to help them out by allowing them to get on a payment plan rather than demanding the full past due balance.  Most of our customers really appreciate that.  But this complaint shows that some folks don't appreciate anything.  We have no further comment re: [redacted].

Purchase was As-Is.  Despite that, when we learned she was having problems with the vehicle, our reps offered to have our mechanics look at the car in an effort to help.  Ms. [redacted] and the people she brought in with her instead refused our offer of help and chose instead to act like...

is, cause a scene and make threats of violence to our staff.  The police had to be called to come and remove these miscreants from the property.  Ms. [redacted] is never to come on our lot again or the police will arrest her for trespass.  We have no further comment.

Purchase was As-Is. No further comment.

We are sorry Ms [redacted] is upset, but she is incorrect.  Any customer can call accounting and get their balance.  That information is readily available.  All customers are required to obtain liability insurance, not only by the state but that is also in the contract they sign with...

us.  DCA (Debt Cancellation Agreement - that releases customers from their remaining loan balance if a vehicle is totaled) is $80/month.  The first 3 months are billed upfront ($240) then beginning the 4th month of the loan, the $80/month cost is added to the account each month.  All of this is in the paperwork, all of this is explained to customers upfront, and all of this is exactly what Ms. [redacted] agreed to at the time of purchase.  We are sorry that she is upset, but her complaint is without merit.  We have no further comment on this complaint.

I am rejecting this response because: the business's finding of facts are mistaken. First off, the math does not add up. The receipt I was given on 6/30/17 has an account balance of $1223.27 owed, with a payoff of $1335.37 which is more than what I owe. So the comment regarding a substantial discount for paying off the car in full is at best false. I will send all paperwork I have to prove this. Secondly, the assumption in their response of me giving my money to someone else to run away with is not at all professional.

[redacted]

We are sorry Mr. [redacted] is frustrated, but there was no payment received from him 6/6/17 via dropbox or otherwise.  We keep all envelopes from all dropbox payments made, we only have 1 person who gets in the dropbox, payments are entered into the system immediately...we have tight controls and...

checks in place to make sure all dropbox payments are solid.   When Mr. [redacted] came into the office after being repo'd for being past due, he dealt with a manager and they discussed his alleged dropbox payment.   The manager verified then and there that there was no entry, no envelope - no record of any such payment.   A manager later went into the security camera system to review, just to be completely certain....and there was no one at the dropbox from 9-11:30pm 6/6/17.  Not Mr. [redacted] or anyone else.   So although we're sorry Mr. [redacted] is upset - it shouldn't be with us.  Maybe he gave the payment to someone else to make for him and they ran off with it...we don't know, but we don't have it and have no evidence that it ever occurred. As to his balance, the system calculates everything automatically - Dealer Center - there are no repo fees or other charges or changes on Mr. [redacted]'s account, so his balance is as showing on his receipts.  Mr. [redacted] can call accounting and get his discounted payoff at any time ###-###-#### (he will most likely get a discount if he's paying off all at once...accounting can calculate that for him) We will not be giving Mr. [redacted] any money.  He wasn't even charged a repo fee for the repo - and at this point in an effort to help restore goodwill, we aren't going to add one.  So maybe that will help him feel a little better.  He seems like a nice enough guy, but he's mad at the wrong people - we're not the cause of his missing payment. Thanks, why here...

I am rejecting this response because: Although the car was sold to me as is, I was told that I would have to pay for tow and repairs less than 48 hours after I made the purchase.  I would like to renew a contract with the deposit that I made the purchase with on another car or truck that will be diagnosed before purchase is final or that my prior contract is null and voided. I will no longer be obligated to current contract.
Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I only had the car for 24 hours before I had car engine issues. I'm am exercising my lemon law rights. I would like a full refund.Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: They are lying I dropped the car off for a day and picked it up. They also gave me a lender car it was also a doge neon all red. They have carmeras so there is definitely prove I came up there multiple times.
Regards,
[redacted]

Complaint is without merit.  Ms [redacted]' purchase was As-Is, so there is no warranty and there will be no refund.   Despite the As-Is sale, when we learned Ms [redacted] had a problem, we tried to help...we told Ms [redacted] she could drop her vehicle at the lot for a day and we'd have a mechanic...

take a look at it and see what was going on.  She refused - so it's totally unfair she's now complaining when we offered to help her even though we didn't have to.  We won't be doing business with Ms. [redacted] again and we have no further comment.
