I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The company recalled my two Solaris dehumidifiers in Sep 2013. I submitted the required claim forms and power cords shortly thereafter. I recieved reimbursement for one of the dehumidifiers in Dec/JanI have yet to receive reimubrsement for the 2nd humidifier. I called their hotline in January and May 2014. They told me both times that they have escaled my claim and that someone would call me within an unspecified period of time. I did not hear anything from the company. I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com on May telling me that the company had acknowledged the complaint. The company contacted me on May 22, seven business days after telling Revdex.com that they were "diligently trying to reach out to this consumer", to ask if I had my original sales receipt (which is not a requirement of the recall). The person informed me that they would "process" the claim, but would not tell me when I could expect payment. I am concerned that the company, which has been subject of numerous complaints about the recall, is simply stringing me along. This matter is not resolved until I recieve payment

Thanks to the Revdex.com for facilitating the conversation I have been told that the checks have been sent as well, the first time was Aug 15, I was told they were sent but never cashed and they were going to cancel the checks and sending out new checks that was over a month ago. Gree was able to get the packages to me so I could cut the cords but can not seem to get the checks to me Even if there were a typo on an envelop my mail carrier is very familiar with who we are and would get it to meI never seem to get a straight answer on the phone, I've been waiting since May Also I can't seem to find any place that sell them for the price they are reimbursing me for, that is why I am asking for what it will actually cost me to replace the dehumidifiers I destroyed
I do not wish to drag this out I simply want to replace what I had without of the pocket expenses to me, for there mistakeThey can issue a check an have it to me tomorrow and put this to bed

The business has reached out to me three times in the past weeks via phone, to tell me that the check will be mailedYesterday, when they called again, I asked them when it would be mailed because I had gotten three phone calls to the same effectI am still waiting for a check and have not received anythingThis has been ongoing since September I would like to know what date the check was mailed and what date it should arrive to me.

I have still not received the refund for my recalled dehumidifier as of May 6, 2014.  They told me several weeks ago when I first filed the complaint that a check had been written, but then voided, with no exp,anation to why they voided the check.  As stated, I still have not received the $179 refund for my dehumdifier as of todays date.  They obviously do NOT take complaints filed seriously.  I want my money.
