nothing wrong with the windows & the 1 she complains about I would replace for free. Even though there is nothingwrong with it, When we do the siding, She said I will spend my 30,000. Dollars with another CO.Note our contract is for 30 day labor warentee, the window are. Not bad, & the window co warentee does not apply to a window that. Sweats on the inside, only between the 2 pains of glass.!st she complains about 1 window sweating & not shutting even, now on her complaint she wants them all fixed or her money back.We drove an hour & a half each way twice to look at the problem. & there is no problem. When we replaced the windows the wood inside the walls was soaked with water & We had to replace a lot of Wood, at no Costs. Home has problems. We install 1000s of windows & have been in this business for 45 years in 2016, see no hope of satisfying this woman, Do not drag our rating down for stupid stuff like this. I am rejecting this response because: I will be filing a civil suit first thing Tuesday 7/5/16 morning. It is extremely upsetting that H&M even with the proof will not accept responsibility for the work that they did. Once again it is not about the door it is about the electrical work that they did when installing the door.

I am rejecting this response because: Absolutely no insulation was installed, none. Dry wall was not mentioned in the contract because we did not expect them to destroy the panel they removed and haul it away with them. The panel had access screws and could easily have been reapplied had they not broken up the panel and hauled it away. Regards,

I made an appt. for H&M to come and give me an estimate on floor repair, they never showed up when I called to see where they were Howard just laughed and said "I forgot". I rescheduled for the next day and Howard came out, he knew I just wanted an estimate he looked at my floor and was not thorough with what he would do and he prepared a work order. I explained again I just wanted an estimate he got mad and was extremely rude he tore up work order and said "I thought I was here to do a job" he stated he was leaving and getting out of here and stomped out the door yelling ignorant things to me and would not even listen to me when I tried to talk. I was extremely shocked by how I got treated. These people are not fit to come into your home let alone do work for you. I think before having a business they need a class in dealing with the public! I have since found another contractor that I am quite happy with.

I am rejecting this response because: First Howard quoted us the price of $6300.00 and this was also advertised in their flyer, so don't act like you tried to do is a favor but cutting the price.  2nd Howard called me a couple days before July 30 th to set up the appointment for July 30th. I have phone records that he called me.  3rd...Ain't no-one a "shack up boyfriend". I live at this home alone. My boyfriend does not live at this home. And I live there because I am doing my mother a favor by living there so house does not sit empty for a few years until she is able to move from Georgia. So don't act like you know my family or what goes on in this house. Whomever lives there is none of your business. 4th....No one in this house sleeps until noon. And for your comment about me being a spoiled child......I am 35 years old and far from a child. I work everyday 8 am until 5-6 pm Monday thru Friday....this is exactly why you had to come out on a Saturday to do the installation and also because you would not come out in the evenings. My boyfriend works everyday 4 am to 1:00pm. So you need to get your facts straight before you talk about someone. Howard you are a nasty nasty man. Your customer service is absolutely horrible. I can't believe you still have a running business with you talking about your customers this way. Believe me I will spread the word to everyone I know how your business operates.  Believe me we will be pursuing this matter.  And you made a huge mistake because we could have used your business for that $30,000 roof but since you can't even take care of installing a furnace we will seek a different for sure! So just by your ignorance you lost a lot of money. And not just for the roof. Could have been a lot of work for your business at this home.  You should not agree to something if you are not willing to hold up your end of the deal, but then you just wanted that $6300 and did and said whatever you needed to to get that money and that's not how you run a GOOD-repeat customer business! Your supposed to take care of your customers and do what you promise.

Response to complaint [redacted] final response 8-17-16. We installed a new furnace & CENT AIR $3200 less than other cos Rr, Kling & Sons Manchester gets. 5000 for air & 4500 for same furnace & air We did for $6300. When we were done Daughter said I have your check but you cant have it unless you sign a paper saying you will come back & turn on the furnace after the gas co, hooks up gas, so We had no choise but to sign it. They called & said we had to be there Sat am to as they say fire the furnace. So I Howard sent Matt the 1 who signed it & put it in , up at time & 2 on sat am to turn on furnace he was there about 8 am, He beat & beat on the door & the storm door was locked, They would not get out of bed, he left. At 11am she gets up & calls & said no one was there. I had a 3 way on phone with me matt & her & he described how her car was Parked what wa on the deck ect, She said well you did not knock hard enough, Then she started scr4eeming at me calling me amother fer. & said she will never call us again. So case closed.

This home is owed by a woman in Georgia she rents it to her daughter & her shack up boyfriend they like to sleep till noon I guess they Work. But her daughter is a spoiled little child & we will not go there again.

trying to say & what she thinks we should.Now I looked up the job, She was terrible to work for, & We installed a sliding glass door as part of a lot of other work, at the same time. She claimed the door was to have bars in it, & it came with cleer glass. She ordered it with cleer glass, She complained & refuse to pay us for the job, unless we gave her a 50% discount on the door, because it did not have bars in in, Lost $849,00, told her will reorder door with bars She said no way, we will keep the door & You will take of $849.00.Now all most 2 years later she wants more money, now she wants me to buy her a new water heater, NO WAY. She excepted the door as is . A new home has a 1 year warentee, as does our contracts, Fact we did not add any different size wire, the connectors were the new Approved type, Also think her husband is an electrician, Any Way We are done with tis thief, I have all the emails to prove all of above, We are not in any way liable for anything else on this job, also full payment Was never received, She made us take less Money or none at all. The Wires for a hot water heater in a mobile home go from the braker box to the water heater inside the home or under the floor not along an out side wall. Nothing else is on that crecit, 10;2 nmb with ground is used.I am an electrician, Registered.Howard W

11-30-15The Revdex.com [redacted]As stated in the previous response the problem with [redacted]'s window is that her trailer skin siding has gaps that are a 1/2 to 3/4 inch in width. This gap is allowing cold air from the outside into the trailer by the window which in turn is forming condensation to form on the bottom payne of the window. This is a common problem with trailers that have aluminum trailer skin siding. I have tried to explain this to [redacted] on several occasions and have made to service calls. The windows are properly sealed. The only way to fix this problem permanently is to replace the problematic aluminum siding with new vinyl siding. also have pictures to prove the statements made above. Over the years the aluminum siding has expanded and contracted forming gaps at the seams which allows cool air in from the outside forming condensation on the inside of the window. As I stated in the previous response windows leak from the top down not the bottom up, I don't know who told [redacted] that the problematic siding would not cause this because if he knew what happens when you mix Cool and Warm air he would know that the problematic siding is the issue not the windows.Thank youMatthew C.Operations Manager

We do not repair furnaces or airs. After the sale. They are under miller warentee , The customer can call any...

co to repair & if they cant find 1 they can call the distributer [redacted] at [redacted], & they will help get some one out. Replacement of a unit must be oked by distributer [redacted]. That is not our call. I suggest they call Chris, he knows the next step to resolve problem.SincerelyHoward W

We called for a quote for windows and they showed up when we were gone, left an unreadable estimate, an envelope to send 1/2 of the quote in ($2100!) and a contract to sign. We asked them to come on Wednesday and they came when we were gone instead. We asked them to on Wednesday because we wanted to see their product. This isn't the way we do business! We'll be looking for a more professional contractor to deal with. We should have read the reviews first and we wouldn't have wasted their time or ours.

Review: I need receipts for two projects and a warranty for one of them. On or about 11-26-12 I had a roof put on and I paid by credit card. I was told there was a lifetime warranty. No receipt was offered and I did not think to ask for any. When I asked about the warranty I was told to call if there was any problem.

Around 2009 I had skirting put on. I paid by credit card. No receipt was offered and I did not think to ask for any.

Now, I need receipts and the warranty--which I should have been given at the time the work was completed.

On 05-16-14 I called the 800# and spoke with **. [redacted] and he told me that the receipts are "in warehouses" and that he refused to obtain them for me. Then he hung up. I called the 800 # again and received a recording. I then called the [redacted] # and **. [redacted] hung up on me again. This is no way to treat customers and I find **. [redacted]'s behavior consistent with other dealings I have had with him.

On the same day, I then sent email to the company and have received no response.Desired Settlement: Send me the receipts and the warranty.

Review: My central air unit went out back in July.....(in the heat wave we had).......so I had these people put in a new one...........and while they were doing that I just asked about getting a new furnace put in all at the same time......so they came out July 18 2013 installed both. That way when cold weather hit I would know I would have a new furnace...(old one always had me worried about it ) I paid 5190.00 for both.........central air has worked great.........now cooler weather is here I lite it Saturday Sept 14th 2013........there is a loud rattle in it..........so I called the owner Monday Sept 16 2013 told him he said he would send someone out..........So Sept 18th I called the owner asked him when someone was coming out he said he would make a 3 way call to Jake (a worker) he didn't answer so Jake called me back.........we made arrangements for him to be here today Sept 21013 at 8:00 am...........9:30 he still was not here so I called owner he made another 3 way call............no answer owner left nasty message.......about him saying he would be here at 8 it was 9:30 and he was not answering his phone..........so..........Jake called me back........he finally got here around 11:30 am.....he heard the noise said it was a bad part he would have to call the boss to see what he wanted him to do about it...........Boss told him to tell me.......I WOULD HAVE TO CALL THE MANUFACTUER THAT IT WAS NOT HIS PROBLEM.........How can he sell me something that is not working right a NEW furnace should not need a new part......I did not know this until I started it last weekend.......

In the meantime after installing these I had them out to remodel my bathroom and this man sent someone out for 2 DAYS.......that never did it before and had no idea how to do it........I had to take off a 3rd day for him to send the normal guys out to do my bathroom for them to come in and tear everything out this Andrew had did on Sat....... how can this man continue to rip off people this way......all this man sees is $$$$ signs......He needs checked out to see if they all have whatever papers they need to come into someone's home So today when I was told he said it was not his problem. I called him told him I was going to report him he told me to do what the [redacted] I wanted to and don't [redacted] call him back..........I called later he will not answer...Desired Settlement: Since he does not want to make this right and finish the job...........(I should have a furnace that works right and does not need new parts)................thats what I paid for..........now I have to finish HIS job..........I should get at least half the money back...........cause he done have the job...........if not all which I will be trying to get a layer on this come Monday........I SHOULD OF HAD A FURNACE THAT NEEDS NO WORK !!!! Customer called 2 months after furnace was Installed.saying ;she had a rattle in the roof jack (chimmney) I said I can send a man down on Sat & if its and install problem there would be no charge , even though it was over the 30 day install warentee & even though it was fired at time of install & checked out & bill paid in full.Note our contract says 3op days & customer is responsible to check out job & be satisfied befor full payment is made ect...My Hvac lienced man on time & a half checked it out & said it was a manufacture problem that the Air cmb blower motor was unballanced & was making a small vibration that the ballancers must have slipped. & this should be covered under warentee,I told customer to call the distributer & they would recomend a [redacted] warentee co that would come out & fix it, Or they could go on [redacted] web site & get the info.sent customer a bill see copy Inclosed she will not pay it I guess.Its like this if you get an mri at the hospital & they find a problem but they refer you to some one who does surgey , do you still have to pay for the mri, (YES so Pay me...Its like this you buy a washer at [redacted] 2 months later It has a vibration do you call [redacted] & say come oput & fix it, no you call the manufacture like [redacted] & they recomend a local service co who does the warentee work._This furnace works fine it just has a slite rattle, yes it should be fixed, but not by us we do not fix furnaces or airs, Unless its something we did wrong in the install then I will fix it or pay another co to fix it . Ok then why dont we service what we sell as far as furnaces & airs?1.we work in 14 counties & these things brake down at all hours & all days & we do remodeling on homes & by scedualed times. Then why would some one buy from a co that does not service what they sell, Because we do installs fast & stock all the [redacted] line airs & furnaces gas electric & oil. 10/07/13I did not even see any agreement until the central air and furnace was completed they were ready to leave..........there is no way you can run a furnace and see if it is working properly in the middle of July Or August. I got it done to be ready for winter....since I had to get the central air put in......I asked about a warranty when I signed I was told it had one year I was never told anything about they don’t do it.........Like I say Howard is after BIG $$$$$ jobs....not small ones........[redacted] told me he should have come out and fixed it. The guy was 3 hours late getting here.........Howard had to get him out of bed.........just to look at it.You can tell by his Revdex.com report what kind of service this guy operates. I had alot I wanted to get done to my home...........he has lost all that..........never again........I will not accept anything but half my money back........for half the job.......Howard is good at making up alotof stories he knows nothing about......

Review: I had storm damage the insurance company said we need to replace a section of roof. 14 X 30. I hire H&M to do the roof and the contract states he was to do a 14 foot 30 foot. H&M only did 14 by 9 not completing the job. The owner came and collected the money and said the working would be back the next day to complete the job. Like a dummy I trusted the guy. They can back and put up the trim but never finished the roofs 21 feet. I call the H&M and he would tell me he would be out in two week to finish and then two more weeks turned into months. He has still not finished the work. He said he did fix the leak, but there was no leak to fix. He was to replace the damaged roof. 14 x 30 feet not fix a leak. He said I should have checked the work before paying him. Most people don’t crawl up on their roof to check work. So he heighted the contact and said because I paid him he’s not going to finish the job. I know I mess up by paying him but he did not complete the job. He has been very disrespectful to me, on the phone. I stopped talking to him on the phone because he was not a nice person. I started to email him. All I want is for him to finish the 21 feet or give me the money to pay another contractor.

He over charged me for the job according to insurance company so I even had to pay out of my pocket over what the insurance company gave me.Desired Settlement: To finish the 21 feet or give me the money to pay another contractor.

This job was wrote 3-11-14, we came to job there was a tarp on the roof, a tree limb was threw the roof. I wrote up a patch job that included replaceing some shingles & sheet wood as well as some facia, gutter & face board to properly repair the damage, our minumim repair is apx 5 sq. or less.The job took over a month to get final payment, atthat time weather was good I went to the job to collect. The home has a high deck & stood on a bence & looked eye level on the job to see whatthey had done, the customer saw it & was up on the roof befor I got there, the job looked good 7 customer was satisfied there has been no leaks, & no promices to return to the job for any reason, except under warentee if there was a problem with the johb as for leaks. Then in June mid month I geta call saying the job is not done, that they want more shingles & wood replaced, for free because I wrote to cover the unseen damage at the time our minumim charge for spot repairs, That they had went up on roof & measured & thought they should get more work done that was not needed.I sent a copy of the contract to her & tried to explain, the following, job was done, See highlited aeras of contract, At first I tried to appease her & said I was real busy but would come back & rip off good shingles & replace more for no reason. But it would be about 2 months. That would be august then she called & said I had till monjday to do the job & if I did not she would destroy my 44 year old business on the internet. I offered her thye factsthat legelly I di not owe her anything, & then I offered her $500. Just as a good faith jesture. That it would be a few weeks till I could get back,But she good tough with me, & I said u know what I am doing nothing & tolod her to sue me.I am legally right & if she did not agree she could sue me & pay my attorney fees. As per contract.The job was done & they were happy till 3 moths later when she decied she should get more for her money & that she paid to much ect....Now I will never do a shingle roof patch job again. And I will not do anything for this woman again. I often wonder were is the husband in all this, .... She must be the head of the house, she is the 1 who signed the contract. She is the 1 who signed 2 checks, 1 when I wrote the job for $200 & 1 for $2150 when job was done. But now She wants me to come back & do the job again, that don't need done & that is after the final paymentwas paid... Readthe contract. I consider this matter closed. We do 4 million dollars A year in mobile home remodeling & ins claims ect. Been doing it for 44 years. This is a shame that I have to be bothered with some stupid case of someone trying to complain, about a job they examined & paid for not a week later but allmose 6 months ago.,So my action is I will never do a patch job on a shingle roof again.SincerelyHoward W. for H & M

Review: Upon having murmurous issues with the product itself, which was discussed with the contractor, the costumer service I received is dipicable and inappropriate. The number one complatant I am reporting is as follows. I received a phone call at 630am stating I was to return a phone message that was left at my home. When I called the number back I was greeted with only a "hello". When I asked to whom I was speaking to he informed me that it was the contractor. I expressed my feeling to him that I was not happy getting a phone call a 630 in the morning and that he wasn't very professional when answering the phone. I could then hear him laughing at my comments. I again expressed that this was not a laughing matter and his next comment was "can't you take a joke"?. Again I said that this wasn't funny and that I was unhappy . The contractor then proceeded to say " well if you didn't sleep all day we wouldn't have this problem" while still continuing to laugh. Once more I told him his behavior was inexcusable. The contractor then threatened to return the ordered product that was to replace the initial malfunctioning product.Desired Settlement: Not only would I like an apology, I would also like this to go on record at the Revdex.com. I believe that no one has the right to be disrespectful. I would hope that no one else has to be subjected to these kind of actions.
