First of all, they advertised "FREE ESTIMATES", Second, I specifically told them that my a/c unit is working but not throwing cool air so they knew I don't need a new a/c system.Third, he said he will be glad to "FIX IT" for me not to replace itForth, when I said next day that I have found someone who can fix it for a lot cheaper than they are, he said that he forgot to mention about service charge of $that I have disputedFifth, now they are asking $141.95, a different amount, to be exact $more ????? and now they are talking about giving me a discounted price if I would have asked them nicely????? Sixth, their pure intention was to sell me a new unit rather than fixing my unit and that's why they gave me a ridiculous estimate of between $2000-$Seventh, they should not advertise "FREE ESTIMATES", and they should have advertised that "DIAGNOSTIC CHARGE OR SERVICE CHARGE of $only"Eight, if anyone buying anything new there's always free estimates they don't need to advertise because the price is always there on product or shelf, and people can find the best and cheapest price on web or on cell phoneFinally, money does matter to everybody, for them as well as for me, I am also in hotel business, people stay whole day and night, use everything in the room, drink coffee and eat breakfast for free, and for any reason if they are not completely satisfied than we refund them 100% why?? because we stand behind out promise and our advertisements of 100% satisfaction guaranteed. And by the way, in their example of car mechanics, yes they do find the problem in people's car and give them free estimates on repairs, they don't intend to sell a new car to the people come there for repairs Regards,

Please keep this on record that I paid Dor Mar because they reported me to a credit agancy I paid it so I wouldnt get bad credit even though I didnt want to because they should'nt have charged memy complaint number is *** Thank You

I've responded to this man alreadyThere is no such term "free estimates on service diagnostics" There is only free estimates on a $ to replace his system with newThere is no company out there that provides estimates to figure out what is wrong with a systemIn all fields of contract work that
is considered a "SERVICE CALL" , OR DIAGNOSTIC CHARGEYou can not take your car to a repair shop and they tell you why the car doesn't work for freeWe are not differentIf the customer would have handled this politely we would of discounted the service charge to something cheaper

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. He did provide a check for $75. I would like to note
that there was no comments anywhere on the why the issue happened in the first place nor why I got such a run around trying to get reimbursed

I am rejecting this response because: the business failed to address the root cause of the service callRather, implying their way was better than what the home inspector specified must be done and exaclty what was specified by the homeowner to the technician to pass inspectionAs evidenced by the reply the contractor still feels they did the job their way, not as requestedBear in mind, the equipment was working properly as it was since when first installed without issue, nothing was broken all that was requested was a change in gas line piping to comply with the inspectors report

After reading this complaint from customer and reviewing our invoices it does appear to me that we could of been quicker in response time in our serviceAfter further review DorMar will issue a $refund check and make her next service need free of charge after claim is resolved

We will not give a refund due to a person having mid communication with a family memeberOur records show that the home owner called he morning of for a service due to unit being brokeShe called to cancel the appointment afte we were already there and fixed her systemThe daughter of the house
let the tech in and paid for the call and now they want their money backWe do not go to random houses break in to fix their furnace and have a random person pay us when we are doneThat is just ridiculous

This complaint truly bothers meI understand the technician making a mistake on the breaker tripping and going straight for the compressorThat normally is the problem out times, and I would of gave a full refund for this call plus a free trip in the futureWhat bothers me is why this
wasn't addressed to my service manager Thomas M***You haven't received a call back because I'm not always in the office and I pay people to handle this type of issue for meSo these are internal mistakes that should of never affected you the customerThis customer will be receiving a full refund check by USPS in the mail, and will have a credit in our system for their next call to be free of charge if they choose to use us againThey have used us previously and was provided good service and would like to continue to show them we provide good serviceThey were unfortunately a product of employee not looking into their problem the way it should of been addressed.
