That’s how this process started. I responded to their  request, received a claim number but did not agree with their practice that’s why I contacted Revdex.com. Looks like I’ve gotten nowhere.

August 2, 2016Dear [redacted]CertainTeed Corporation has received your correspondence dated July 22, 2016 and we have reviewed [redacted]s file.CertainTeed was contacted on March 22, 2016 regarding a shingle issue at the above-referenced property. CertainTeed promptly sent a warranty claim...

kit to the homeowner, which requests that shingle samples, photographs and a completed evaluation form be submitted to our lab. We received most of the information and the requested samples in our lab on April 8, 2016. April 11, 2016 we send a letter asking for the remainder of the information required to be sent in. April 19, 2016 we received the rest of the information via email.An evaluation of the warranty claim was completed on April 19, 2016 and a determination was made to reimburse the homeowner per the terms of the Asphalt Shingles Limited Warranty, which was in effect when the shingles were installed. A Release was sent to the homeowner on April 19, 2016. The warranty settlement for handseal and repair was based upon the terms of the Asphalt Shingles Limited Warranty.May 6, 2016 our shared consumer asked for a larger dollar figure. CertainTeed Asked for 3 fully broken down estimates. On June 8, 2016 CertainTeed sent a new release covering more funding for this homeowner to make their repairs. I am rejecting this response because:
I am not looking for a rebate on new shingles. I would like assistance with the great cost of labor for re-roofing my house. They say they have the best warranties in the business, but will not even stand behind their product for 6 years.
