I purchased a certified pre-owned Toyota from Toyota of Tampa Bay that has been giving me nothing but issues from the beginning
I purchased a certified pre-owned Toyota in January from Toyota of Tampa Bay and immediately began having issues with it, including: the gas tank door not opening, tires making a horrible rubbing noise every time I turned, having a strange noise and hard start up when I start the car, squeaking and rattling noise coming from the engine, the brakes giving resistance when pressed and a drive not operating properly and as smoothly as a vehicle shouldThe first time I went for service, there was no resolution for the gas tank door issue and I was also told that the tire rubbing and break resistance were both safety features not to be concerned aboutI do not believe this because the tire noise has since subsided a bit, but still comes and goesI have never heard of such a safety feature and if it were one, it would be consistentI was als

It is really sad that you can't trust your local dealer with your carOn Fri November 16, 2018, my husband had our friend Newton drop off the van to Toyota of Tampa for an oil change and to have the headlight restoration redoneService advisor Talon met Newton that morning asked if he was the ownerNewton told Talon noTalon then mentioned what was recommended for the car and had Newton sign a form so they could take the car and do the oil changeNo price was discussed for anything else nor did Newton agree to any extra service as it is not his carA few hours later that day my husband *** called and spoke to Talon*** was making sure the headlights were going to be addressed*** had paid for the headlights to be restored a couple months priorWhen he got the car back a few months ago he noticed the headlights still looked old a

I purchased new tire last yearThe tires are now defective because of improper maintenance/serviceI always bought my car to them for service
I purchased tires in 2/Package included tire rotations, road hazard and alignments for 2-4yearsI never received paper work on the warranty for my tires. My vehicle is certified preowned so I always brought my car to toyota of tampa bay for service so that they can help me maintain my vehicleNot once did they say "hey we have to rotate your tires so you can keep your warranty"Two tires are now defective and they cause a horrible pull when I drivePer Jason the only thing they can do is pay 50% of two new tires which would cost me to pay out $I dont think its rightToyotas technician are supposed to be expertsThis service (tire rotation every 5k miles) such have been recommendedIf they didnt want to take responsibility then I should have received paperwork/warranty informationWhen I purchased my certified pre owned wit

Toyota of Tampa did shoddy body work two years ago now the bumper is cracking in the same placeThey are refusing to honor life time warrantyThey
https://wwi am a special ed teacher and two years ago Toyota of Tampa Bay did body work on my ToyotaThe work was shoddy and should have a lifetime guarantee but they are refusing to adhere to itThey had told me they would replace the bumper and grillThey only repaired the bumper and never replaced the grill and they took a very long time to do it four times longer than they had promised so I was just glad to get it backNow it has cracked in the exact place it hadhas crac before because it looks like that did not even take it off the carThe back of the bumper was never touchedThey are refusing to honor it saying I must have hit something

I have never seen such a place that was so unorganized in my lifeI get there and watch everyone running around all over the placeI went there for an oil change and came out with almost a broken carThey sent me off without checking their work and no one screwed the lug nuts back onThey were hand tight so I could of died or killed someoneI knew the truck felt funny but it was not until I was doing that the car lost control, luckily I did not crash and got the truck back where they can fix the job
Contacted the Asst Srv Manager {Steve C.} about everything that happened who basically told me that the wheels did not come off so it was not a big dealSo this is why I am filing this report since I feel like the value of someone's life should be held to a higher standard then to be treated the way I was with the Asst Srv Manager

Car buying is normally a nightmare and Toyota of Tampa Bay makes the nightmare your reality On April 24, Omar Dand Donovan Ngave me a deal that was 'too good to be true.' The car was not in inventory, so I returned on April 28, to give a $deposit for them to locate/order the car Donovan promised a 2-day delivery since he knew I had to return my rental vehicle by Monday the 30th I was already pre-approved; therefore, financing was NOT an issue
I did not hear anything back by Tuesday afternoon, which started to rattle me I called several times trying to get an update but was transferred to voicemails Omar finally returned my call and promised a call back within a couple of hours because he needed to check with Donovan Of course, he never called back On Wednesday, Donovan promised a called back after he spoke with 'his guys,' the person who finds the vehicles for him, but that never happened either On Thursday, I had to call from a different phone numbers because by that time my calls were being filtered/sent to voicemails Late Thursday afternoon, Omar called to say finding the vehicle I was interested in was going to take three (3) to six (6) months Extremely disappointed by the entire experience, I requested Omar to send me a copy of the voided check via email or text message As of today, Monday, May 07, neither Omar or Donovan have provided the copy of the voided check
This is not the first vehicle I purchase, but this is certainly the worse experience I've had with a Toyota dealership There is no reason to cowardly deceive your customers with 'good deals' when you can't deliver It is unfortunate sales representatives and general managers like Omar and Donovan have such little business etiquette It is obvious that personal ethics is not a required trait during the hiring process at Toyota of Tampa Bay

Auto dealer fraud include "bait and switch" advertising practices, deceptive, cost me over $300, they need to pay me back
A vehicle with the VIN #1FTWW32RX8EDXXXXX is marked to be sold at a price of $14,by Toyota of TampaBy advertising it on *** For the past two days, I have been speaking with them, and my conversations with sales reps, Darren and Josh, were well documented via text messages and audio recording where they had agreed to sell the vehicle to me for $13,out the doorIt costed me (300) in gas, time, and a U-Haul rental to go over there and complete the sale that we had agreed uponApparently, they are scamming people with advertisingupon arrival they asked me to pay way more what we have agreed on and present me with an estimate totaling $They have wasted my time and energy and have been a great inconvenience to measking to be reimburse for the cost of $or honor the sales as pre agreed on of $out the door

Clock Spring Broken

I had my car towed to Toyota, the clutch pedal was sticking to the floor
They told me I needed a new clutch slave and master cylinder replacement so the pedal wouldn't stick I also asked them to check the clutch to see if I need a new one They said "Let's focus on the slave/master first Meaning they didn't check the clutch when they had the car on the lift like I asked them to They then told me it would be $for them to drop the transmission open it and see if I really do need a new clutch I then asked how much it would be for new clutch they said $ A few days later I called and talked to the service manager *** told him what happened and he said "We focus on the initial problem first and go from there" Which means I would have to bring the car back and have them replace the clutch and pay even more money Come to find out it wasn't the slave/master, it was the clutch Which means the slave/master was put in for no reason I was taken for a ride and ripped

My complaint is regarding the complete lack of acceptable customer seeing level & the total disregard of promised commitments
To Whom this may concern:
I am writing this complaint in hopes that we can come to a friendly resolution of a very unfortunate chain of events that have happened over the course of more than daysMy husband and I finally decided to give in after months to buy a Toyota HighlanderWe signed the contract on 12/29/I will not be naming any one specific, in an effort to be as dignified and correct as possibleThey gave me a decent deal & I was happy with the terms overall after we leftMy first payment was to be due on 2/12, which is a little short of weeks from todayOn January 10th I attempted to reach our Finance Manager & was prompted to leave a message since he was not available, which I didMy concern at the time, was that he had advised me at the time we signed our contract that our financing would be going through ***

In purchasing my BMW 335i I was forced to deal with every part of this dealershipFrom sales to service I could never get a straight answer
On November 8, I stopped in to the Toyota of Tampa Bay on*** to look at a BMW 335iThe car was listed for 19,9K online and that price caught my eyeI called the dealership first and spoke with Aimee Mand set up an appointment to go see the carShe was a vet like myself so I felt very comfortable dealing with herWhen I arrived to the dealership the car was parked out front with the top downI looked the car over and saw that it had blemishes but nothing that was too horribleI raised the top on the car and noticed that there was a piece missing from the roof that covered the convertible top mechanismShe said that part had been ordered and that it was on hand but they needed to get it back to service to be installedI continued to walk around the car and opened the hood and trunkWhen I opened the trunk I noticed

I just left Toyota of Tampa very upset and unsatisfiedI was working with Sales Manager Miguel AWe had been speaking for a total of weeksWe agreed upon terms verballyThen I came in to sign initial paperwork, check credit, and appraise my trade inAt that point the terms were still the same as previously discussedThe car that I wanted needed to be shipped in, so I had to come back to pick the car up on arrivalOnce the car arrived and I began to sign final paperwork, the payment was almost twice what we had agreed uponMiguel claimed that he was unaware of all terms of the negotiationHowever, he and I had discussed the details several times over the prior weeksThere could have been no way that he was unawareThis was by far the worst experience that I have ever had attempting to purchase a carIt is unfortunate for car sales people that there are people like Miguel that give the rest bad reputations

wrong calculation, wrong information regarding my previous contract lead to wrong payment and very bad contract terms, also changing the interest
I'm writing this letter to express my frustration, anger and disgusting feelings of the way I had been treated at Tampa Bay Toyota dealer ship to,
I returned to this dealership as repeat customer without any doubt that I might be cheated on or mugged or mislead, unfortunately the sales team at Toyota Tampa Bay thought that taking advantage of a poor, naive and uneducated customer is smart , but my bad luck turn me to the hand of bad, untrustworthy, mean sales team
On March 18th and under a lot of pressures I bought a TOYOTA CAMRY car, after I finished the deal, I want home and review the contract I find out that the numbers of monthly payments and finance charged is not what we discuss and agreed on not to mention the bad and unfair price am given to my tracar, the price based on a wrong base, I called back after hour to talk

Lied to by mechanicsMy mother is years old taking care of my retired vietnam veteran father, who doesn't have much moneyVery bad business
My mother specasked if the hybrid engine in her prius was NOT the prohlem with the car, if not then she would put the money in the car to fix itShe was told all it needed was the volt battery, and a few other minor things She spent $on Jan26,Inv.#TOCSXXXXX Advisor-Jordan ***The car was driven maybe miles, and on April 10,the car sputtered, we barely made it home, had it towed to Toyota of tampa bay and was told the Hybrid Battery was goneThe car was dead in the waterThey completely swindled my mother out of her money They live on a fixed income and have to spend alot of money on my father's healthcare and medications, she NEVER EVER would have spent that money on the car if the big battery wad going to goThat is why she asked if she spent this money, was it worth it to fix what THEY SAID

My Sienna Car-engine was misdiagnosed by Toyota of Tampa bay and that let me to replace the engine Unnecessarily
Toyota of Tampa Bay mis-diagnosed my Toyota-Sienna-engine problem and indicated that the head gasket was blown. The shop provided me three options to resolve
1-Fix the head gasket, around $(this cost if no more damages were found)
2-Replace the Engine, around $
3-Junk the car for $
As you could see no good optionI was able to find a shop that replaced the engine for $3933, with better mileage than Toyota offersThe shop that replaced the engine discovered that the issue with my car is that the wrong Diesel fuel was added to the gas-tank mistakenly by my wife and not the head gasket-blownCleaning the engine would have resolved the issueThe misdiagnosed by Toyota cost me $in unnecessary repair and I am looking for credit/ reimbursement
I have told the manager/tech before working on my car that the car never overheated and was running g

Toyota of Tampa Bay has failed to refund me for a window tint service that was not used
In September I purchased this car from Toyota of Tampa Bay At the time of closing they sold me a window tint package However due to a scheduled military move overseas I was informed that window tinting is against the law for the front seats of the car As a result I did not want to install the window tint only to remove it upon my move During a service appointment on May I spoke to the sales manager and he informed me that he would initiate the refund He had a sales associate named *** (XXX-XXX-XXXX) initiate the refund She said accounting would process and I would receive my check in appox days I contacted her again on March, Apr and April She once again said accounting had sent my check and the refund would be in the mail and I would receive it within the week I contacted again on Apr as to the status of the check She said someone from accounting woul
