Customer placed an order for a map update and received the update, and was unable to install the update to to an error received during the installationWe approved for a replacement map update without having to return the original product backIf the replacement map update does not install, we will refund the customer for the order

Customer placed an order for X( [redacted] )Customer called having issues with the installation of the map update, attempted to troubleshoot over the phone, if it does not install, will send out a replacement.Sent out a replacement order, update still would not load, referred customer to the nearest dealer to investigateWe have reached out to Nissan to provide us with some guidance for this specific issue

We reached out to the customer, and sa replacement RMA [redacted] for the product to be returned, in order for us to send out a replacement directly to the customer

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The assumption that most customers live near a FedEx or Kinko's is not true In a rural area people are lucky to have any big box stores around them We have a Staples, and only a StaplesAnd Staples does not ship FedEx, only USPS and UPS As I pointed out in my original complaint, the nearest FedEx store is an hour and a half away, one way The onus should not be for me to pay to ship a defective product back At least offer a download of a preprinted shipping label to avoid problems for those who do live in a rural area I want a total refund of my shipping costs back Sincerely, [redacted] ***

We issued a credit for Ned S*** on 7/16/

Customer purchased the current map update for her vehicleOn 2/23/17, customer requested a refund, which was created; RMA *** Per our terms and condition, we do not credit back the customer until the product has been returned and receivedWe will close RMA *** without having the customer
return the product for a credit

We exclusively use FedEx as our fulfillment vendorAs the product received by the customer was deemed to be defective, we provide our FedEx number to each customer to not incur shipping charges when returning product backWe find that this process has worked in most locations around the country,
and in most situations, there is a FedEx or Kinko's facility located fairly close to most customersWe have sent a replacement free of charge to the customer in hopes of resolving the issue that occurred

I would like to clear up one thing thoughTheir notes are incorrect about my order informationI actually placed orders because I ordered the incorrect product the first time and they were unable to cancel the orderThe first (incorrect) item was received and promptly sent back for a refund, which they processed quicklyThe correct item was never received by my local post office, therefore was never deliveredThe problem arose when this company kept giving me the run around about the correct item being shipped outI finally received my item yesterdayI would recommend that they review their customer service policies, as a case number and escalating of the claim meant NOTHING

As a matter of fact, I now update my complaint to reflect the proper & actual status to show that the company operates responsibly & in a fair & ethical manner when addressing customer issuesIn fact, as my 1st response was that we had been checking our credit card billings morning & late in the afternoon of the day unfortunately, the Revdex.com system automatically rejected my pending acceptance of the business' offer, the refund payment posted.We are now very impressed with this companyTherefore; we will be paying HERE.LLC again, when we next update our NAVI system.Sincerely,
