The customer placed an order
on 10/30/2015 for the RB5 HDD USB ([redacted]). They received an error
that the maps were not successfully installed. We responded asking
whether the two necessary files had been copied to the USB
product. The customer confirmed that the...

files were not copied, and
we provided further troubleshooting steps in our response. After receiving
information from the customer that the troubleshooting steps did not resolve
the situation, additional information was gathered to seek additional
technical support. We did receive all the additional information from the
customer, and escalated. This took much longer than expected. We received
additional information on 1/6/16. We sent an e-mail to the customer with an attachment
to extract the 2 files and add them into the Garmin folder on the map USB
(labelled “USB-2 North America Map 2015 (RB5)”).
If this does not resolve the installation
issue, we will credit the customer.
