We appreciate any and all feedback that we receive It gives us the opportunity to grow and better the company as a whole.Please allow me to address the concerns listed by the customer:The customer claims she was not told about our overtime policy.This customer is correct, in part Unfortunately she was not told about our overtime rates when she booked her moveWe do stress to our customer service staff that customers are to be informed of all our rates and fees during the booking process.Sadly, policy was not followed on this call We are working diligently to ensure that this does not happen again.The customer claims that we were over four hours lateBased on one of the recordings of the calls she made to us the day after her move, she admits that she called and changed the arrival time to later than she originally booked We did arrive after that later scheduled time however, it was not four hours as she claimed.This is the busiest part of the year for us and there are times where the crews are on jobs longer than originally anticipatedWe did adjust the time at which her overtime would start accordingly to allow for the time that we were behind She was never billed for any overtime, and she requested that the crew stop the job at the end of the regular time before the job was completedThe customer claims that she has called several times and no one is available to take her call.We have several recordings of the customer calling in and speaking with several members of our staff, including managers, regarding her concerns the day after her move She has not called back since that day We would like to be able to come out and move the few pieces that were left behind and have availability, after Tuesday 8/of this week, to do so at her convenience Please contact the corporate office and ask to speak with either Kevin or Ashley directly to schedule the most opportune time for us to come out and complete the service

None of this response makes any sense:I already paid the amount in question in the responseI never received any sort of "compensation" as indicated in the responseI never signed the after service bill (as you can see it was clearly scratched out)I never received a follcall after reaching out to the company on separate occasions This was my main issue; I just wanted to discuss my concerns with ANYONE at the company, but the complete lack of care to even respond, after messages left, is very disappointing

It has come to my attention that after you used your amazon voucher with us for a discount of $341.00, you contacted Amazon and got a refund on itThe result in doing so leaves an unpaid balance for your move in the amount of $Please mail payment to NKeowee StDayton Ohio within the next daysFailure to do so will result in further legal actions Thank You! Again we apologize about the damage, but believe that matter to be settled with the recent cashing of the checkThe items were not repairable so a check was issued as is our policyI have uploaded the signed bill of lading, the terms and a questionnaire completed on moving day if anyone wishes to review them If there are additional damaged items to be paid for up to cents per pound please give a list noting the weight and your best mailing address for a second check As for the items left in the home, we were not told about the items until well after the move was overThe items were not mentioned in the original damage claimWe believe that everything was fine during the walk through at the end of the loading processThe moving team would have had to have been released before traveling to the second location, as that is our policy [redacted] you said that you had gotten those items yourself out of the homeOften times customers will just have us take only big items and from what I can see in the picture these items did not look to be too heavyWe are always willing, ready and able to move any items once we are instructed to do so Sophia, we are very sad for you that your precious ring is missing but our stace remains the same as we do not have the ringOur team says they did not see the ring, and they did not take the ringThere is no supporting evidence that Here To There stole the ringAgain we will be glad to cooperate with the police should they inquire about your caseThank you,

We hired these movers to do a small job and damaged things without willing pay for them

I hired the movers a week in advanceThey were to arrive between 8-am and did not show up until 11:30amThe mover Ray did call to let me know he "had to be the one to come out and see me." He also let me know he wasn't making any more money by working on his day offDuring the move they were fine, but did waste time trying to hook my belongings up, even tho I told them I didn't need that doneThey are paid by the hour but let's not milk the single momFurther more, once they had payment and were to have been gone, I came out to my car to see the helper walking away from itThinking nothing at the time I went about my day for only two milesThen I realized I had a flat tireA razor blade was shoved into and broken off in my tireI can't help but wonder how great the company is since their employees act like that

The movers showed up hours lateI missed appointments and had to rearrange many things at homeCommunication was horribleMy name, street info etc was all misspelled, they also called the number I asked them not too, I provided my cell as an alternate But above all they did not wrap my furnitureThey damaged itAnd after numerous calls, emails, etc they have not repaired it

The people who moved us were wonderful Unfortunately, damage was done to a high chest The insurance coverage for a deep gough is $ Thats an insult! Should we have to purchase additional insurance for this business? HorribleHorrible management and business Again the workers were wonderful and tipped very well for their hard work

[redacted] with the name of Here To There Inc, just want to clarify that up front, Thanks [redacted] Enterprises DBA Here To There Movers had offered this customer $for the missing ipadShe has not given us an address to mail this check, as is our policy if she agrees to this amountOur owner is now retracting this offer because it has gone unanswered since 9/Communication has been open and she is currently seeking $Our offer is now at the per pound that our BOL states and Ms [redacted] assigns [redacted] returned a call and was not willing to accept the $payment for missing ipadOur research shows and we determined that you can purchase a year old ipad for approx: $She was informed and she elected to take the minimal reimbursement at $0.60/lbon loss or damaged items but was willing to go above and beyond and pay out $She then hung up on our business ownerPlease see attached the signed and initialed Bill of Lading Thank you,

Two days prior to this complaint being filed a check was issued in an effort to settle this claim and has since been cashed. We have interviewed each of the movers, all said that they did not see or steal the ring. The Here To There team has no history of theft. We have gone thru a process of... taking the claim and issuing a check after attempting repair. These men have no reason to steal from our customers. We are very sorry that the ring was lost but we do not have the ring. The original damage claim filed stated "The ring was in a pile of crap...". The ring was not packed therefore we would not have moved it. We suggested that the police be contacted and a report has been filed, however we have heard nothing from the police and if we do will cooperate 100%. Again we are sorry for the loss but have no reason to believe our team stole the ring. Thank you,

I did say that I got the items out of my home because you left them. I had no clue that the stuff was left in the basement because we didn't do a walk thru. You can bet your bottom dollar someone from your company stole my ring because no one else came in nor out after you left my home. You a won't take responsibility for anything. This is completely unacceptable and a bad way to conduct business. I have three children and had my ring for four years and they know not to touch my ring, so surely to God someone grown should know not to touch something that doesn't belong to them. I am very upset that your company would behave like this after all the stuff [redacted] said and [redacted] that would happen and after all of the emails back and forth this is sad.

We had a great experience with Here to There MoversWe worked with *** and "*" and they were very efficientWhen *** came to our apartment to quote our move, he actually made us aware of a coupon that would save us $*** that we did not know aboutThey were on time and got to work right awayThey worked well together and cleared our apartment out in about two hours- all while having to go up and down three flights of stairs each time they took an item downThey didn't complain about the stairs and were very kindWhen they got our stuff to our new apartment, they made sure to lay down blankets to keep our carpet clean as it was raining/muddy and I wouldn't have thought to do thatOur stuff was unwrapped and set up in about an hour and a half and we didn't have any damagesWe really appreciated the hard work they did and did not experience anything negative at allGreat work, *** and *! Thank you so much for everything

Dear ***,
We wish to pursue the matter further. Especially now that the owner of the company is saying WE need to pay him the listed amount
My complaint to Amazon Local did not include a refund request. They gave that to me on their own
I feel that this part of the matter falls into the agreement the moving company had with Amazon and does not involve me
As for the iPad, I do not believe, at this time, that Here to There Movers will give us anything to replace it
It may just come down to criminal negligence on their part and become a legal matter
If this travels out of the realm of the Revdex.com, then we will close the matter with your department

This is a detailed attachment concerning complaint file with Revdex.com against Here to There movers.Purchased Groupon for moving service for Here to There moversGroupon advertised $for $worth on moving servicesCalled company to set appointment for move June 21st Spoke to customer
service representative, she and I discussed date (June 31st) and details of move Her questions were house or apartment(apartment) how many bedrooms (2), was there a storage area(yes) were there stairs (yes) , were there items that needed disassembled and assembled( beds), told her I had bed at new location that needed assembled, and she responded no problem,how many men for move (2) and finally because I wanted to move the cost would $an hour ($was for Mon thru Thurs) and estimate hours from all info provided Approx.5-hoursAll information provided and agreed end uponMovers arrived approx10:30am went to storage area first, movers began to load storage items one of the movers picked up plastic bag and threw it to outside of storage area( glass container inside) broken.Storage area took about hour to load, preceded to apartmentMy son and I boxed and loaded all boxes and small items weeks prior, the only items left in apartment was twelve pieces of furniture( this was counting all rooms living,dining and bedrooms)When it came time to take down bedrooms movers realize they had left tools?? My bed came apart by hooks but my sons bed needed tools (screwdriver) I had to find a neighbor that had tools and ask if he would take bed apart, he did-( movers came in unprepared with just the basics -tools)Movers took over 4hours to wrap furniture at original locationDrive to new location approx.1/hour, I arrived at 2nd location long before moversWhen they arrived I could tell they had stopped (which was confirmed by ***, he explained I would not be charged for breaksAt new location I had already purchased brand new sectional and bed for my bedroom(already there) they started to unload the furniture sofa,love seat and chair that was suppose to go down into den, movers stated it would not go down stairwellAfter listening to all their reasons why furniture would not fit, I agreed to put brand sectional downstairs in den and keep 2nd set upstairs After 1st attempt, movers state they can not get sectional downstairs (I'm upset ) ask them to take legs off sectional (approx 2-inches) and banister (allowing another 2-inch clearance ) movers could not No TOOLS to do so, but kept insisting that furniture still would not fitI think we all knew this was not accurate( made several other excuses) end result I now have living room sets in my living spaceAt this point I had a serious melt down not only have we gone over max hours moving time I now have two living room sets in my living room and they are no where near unloading truck!!!! They set aside living room furniture proceeded to unload bedroom furnitureExplaef I needed them to put together my bed and immediately was told that is against company policy if they did not move bed to this location?? I explained that I had discussed with CS repStill they said no( but without tools how could they , which was the real issue) so my bed not put togetherInstructed movers where bedroom furniture goes(my room , my sons room) after they were done I went upstairs to find all bedroom furniture in the middle of each room??? Not in any order or place!!! So I ask why would you not place furniture in order(I can not move myself, that's why I hired movers) *** became very sarcastic and stated that I did tell them where to place furniture and most people (customer) just want them to put in rooms and they would move later on their own??!!? I ask for them to place furniture, because that made no sense(I am tired and a mess by now)Then we needed to deal with livingroom furniture(sets sitting in the middle of room) the only solution I could come up with was to call store where I had purchased sectional (weeks prior) and ask if they would allow me to return furnitureI called and they agreed to allow me to return furniture w/receipt By suggestion movers said if I rented Uhaul (vs another ph for their time/truck they would load sectional into truck to be returnedWith little options,upset,tired and disgusted I rented Uhaul (blocks from new apartment) and movers loaded new sectional unto truckAt this time it is appox 7:30pm(Store closes at 8:00pm) I expressed to *** I was not happy with move time , them arriving in prepared with no tools,not putting bed together and not having proper tools which had caused Hugh problem with furnitureHe appoligized several times and began to tell me that they were not paid well they do the best they can and how they rely on tips to get bye-realtotal moving bill was $minus $for groupon leaving a balance of $ I paid them with a personal, because company charges 5% surcharge on credit card ( which was on file) and because I am who I am (foolish) I tip both of them $At this point all I can think of was immediate problem and solutionWhich was returning this sectional in which I paid $and $for ottoman When I arrived at store, manager came out to truck to inspect furniture before returningAt this point he pointed out a (3inch) tear in the back of sectional I was devastated !!!! He ask who had loaded furniture and stated theMoving companyHe was totally surprise, he pointed out that they had loaded incorrectly by placing legs to ottoman inward pressing against back of sectionsl( instead of legs facing toward truck wall) end result they only would take back ottomanHe took pictures of furniture and stated he would be glad to give statement if necessary.I had total melt down!!!! As I'm driving back to my new apartment I realize I have no where to store sectional and I needed to return truck OMG had to keep truck until the next day, I had to rent small storage area, have a friend help my son unload into storage area and returned truck.additional $for Uhual truck and $for storage rental.Emailed groupon that night, they responded the next morning with apologies and refunded $and stated they would contact here to there for explanation .Contacted company 6/22/ask for owner was told the owner would contact me ASAP follow with more additional phone calls still no response from ownerFinally on 6/24/received call from owner *** explained situationWas TD to fill out complaint form online(I did) was ask to forward any photos if damage ( I did to his personal cellPhone ) by 6/26/no follow upSpoke to *** again he said they would repair sectional to original state by 7/6/as of today no follow , no repair no resolution On 7/6:left voice message on ***'s personal phone that I had planned to escalate this complaint to the Revdex.com and for him to call before the end of business day(7/6/15) to find resolve - no responseAt this time and for all of the time,distress and expense I am asking for my total moving bill to be adjusted (for a hour move and additional expenses incurred and full reimbursement for the damage of my sectional)

Yes, the business owner did offer me $but I told him that was not acceptableBUT I never rejected the amount I do not know where he acquired his information but I was not able to find a replacement of my daughter's same iPad, used, for under $ AND, I did not accept his offer of cents per pound, which is ridiculous He also revealed to me that they do not do background checks on their movers while the original founder of the company said they did There are several discrepancies in this entire incident I am willing to pursue the matter I feel that this company has victimized us My daughters are afraid that the guy who stole the iPad, knows where they live and will come back The owner of this business treated us terribly and without any empathy We trusted him to move my daughter's personal belongings and they hired a criminal to do it! He spoke to me as if I were a child and kept saying the item missing was probably lost in the move It was missing immediately! There must be some law governing the hire of people for companies like this

This place is an absolute joke My name is ***They moved me on April of last year They only had to move the big stuff They sent only two men one of which was only about 5'6" lbs soakin wet I had to help move multiple items as to not damage them anymore then they were already being damaged They scratched and dented every item of furniture they touched I contacted the manager who by the way they went through of them every time having to repeat my story The owner finally had to come out to my house from Indiana and he put some wood putty (white)On all of the scratches my furniture is cherry He also put wood putty on all of the scratches on my newly refinished floors So imagine how that looked I paid thousand dollars to have my floors fixed and refinished and they put wood putty on them The owner is rude and never really gave any kind of idea of what the final laity of the situation was going to be I called him times never to return a phone call after he was out to put putty on my furniture and floors They charged me the full amount to move and told my wife while I was helping to move a price of my own funiture that if we didn't pay the total they would take us to court She paid them and I had no idea they said such a thing I also had to pull the truck out of my yard because the driver/ mover was incompident and was turfing my whole yard leaving foot deep tire marks all over the place Once again this place is a bunch of amateurs who have no idea what they are doing Your better off getting your friends to help move Would have saved me thousands of dollars and headache I would love to see the owner and have a nice little chat with him about his attitude toward his customers and lack of customer service

I used their service after buying a groupon and they were AMAZING! Ray, James and Tom were so efficient, respectful and did a perfect jobTo be honest, I was surprised at how fast they got everything done! They were extremely meticulous as well and they handled everything so gently! I can't thank them enough and would highly recommend to everyone!

Awful experiencehours late to my moving window and no calls back during the waitMade a huge hole in my wall and claimed they couldn't get a piece of furniture out of the basement - which I got out myself afterThen tried to charge me time and half after even though they were the ones who were lateI hired my own person to do the wall repair but the company said they won't pay for it because they get first right of fixingBut my walk through for my new buyers in tomorrow -- the movers called TODAYThis company should NOT be in business

Now we've arrived at this point! I did not request a refund from Amazon, they went ahead and gave me a credit on my accountI only contacted them to warn them of the poor service/treatment we received. Amazon did not tell me the company would not be paid
So, we went from being robbed to owing THEM money!
