To whom it may concern,I have reviewed the complaint and would like to respond in the following way:The customer was indeed informed about our 12pm-5pm arrival window more than once as you will hear via the recorded call I have attachedI have also attached a copy of customers
bill of lading & non binding estimate and quality control questionaireMost of your major moving companies dispatch crew for jobs a day including morning and afternoon jobMore than 95% of customers do not get onsite estimates done therefore it is very difficult if not impossible to get an accurate time frame of how long each move will takeWe do give courtesy confirmation calls the evening prior to the move to make sure customers dont need any last minute packing supplies and to confirm piaddress along with trying to get a little bit better understanding of the move details so we can better schedule the crew in the most accurate and efficient way possible, however a majority of the customers do not answer or call backIn all reality we did show up hr past our scheduled arrival window but still only charged for the actual services we provided and secondly, the customer was also informed about over time rates after 8:00pm which we did not charge for in good faith, because we were running a little behind schedule(I have also attached a copy of the bill of lading to review)Sometimes you get employees who complain about having to work late and we do our very best to try to send fresh crews, but unfortunately we cant control or monitor employees attitudes or perspectives constantlyMost of the time they are just venting and dont relay information accuratelyWith that being said, I feel we have already compensated the customer fairly and will not be proceeding any further with additional compensationSecondly, we will be proceeding with further legal action in collecting the total amount owed for the services rendered in the amount of $in addition to the 3% c/c processing fee, attorney fees etc...Sincerely,Kevin

Hello!
That's fineI hope that other consumer will see it's unresolved and will not use this company
It has been eating away at me for over a month And to have them threatening to take US to court is the icing on the cake

YES, they charged me $on my credit card (for some unknown reason)In regards to them charging in the full amount that was estimated, NO, they did not charge me for that amount

I bought a Groupon for this company and schedule them to move me over 2 weeks in advance from our moving date. They told me this would be no problem and scheduled me for Nov 1st and 8 AM.
On Oct 31st, they called and left a message to tell me that they "only start looking at the schedule a few days in advance" (and in this case, less than 24 hours) and that they had overbooked and we were the last to schedule. They said that they could not move us and could move us on Nov 2nd in the afternoon.
I called back but got no answer. I left a message to call me ASAP. I got ahold of the manager's assistant, who was very rude. He made it seem as though it was no big deal. I told him that we HAD to move the 1st, since we had scheduled cleaners for that night and that the new tenants were moving in the next day. I told him to have his manager call me.
The manager never called me back, so I called the corporate office and asked for their manager. This manager never called me back either. I called back again, but with no luck. Basically, they really messed up our whole move and I STILL cannot get ahold of them, even if I did want to use them. I am now going through Groupon to try to get my money back from them, since I have $99 into this company right now who will not call me back.

Hello!  I DID sign the contract for "missing or damaged" items.  What is there to protect my belongings from employees who steal?  We have not found the iPad and we do not know what they based their research on when they looked up used ones for under $100. He had no idea what type or model it was!  I did hang up on [redacted].  He kept saying it was our word against theirs and we had no proof that it was taken and that people claim things are stolen all the time then later find them. I was becoming furious and getting nowhere! I left him a name and address in a text, to send the check...figuring that this was the best I was going to get for my daughter.....I have that record on my phone...as well as his snotty voicemail reply.  The worst part of it all is that we were victimized, he says he fired the guy who probably did it.....who had NO background check......and we will get 60 cents per lb.  This man will continue to hire criminals and people will keep being robbed!
What are our options?
I really appreciate what you do as your job. I can't imagine dealing with issues like this all the time!
Thanks!

The address is the location in Columbus. However, the corporate office is in Indiana and they are the ones that handle the complaints. I called the local office with no response and then have since been trying to speak to the owner at the corporate office. It is a fairly small company so they say he...

is accessible. I have found that he will not return calls or deal with complaints in any way.Best Regards,[redacted]

It has come to my attention that after you used your amazon voucher with us for a discount of $341.00, you contacted Amazon and got a refund on it. The result in doing so leaves an unpaid balance for your move in the amount of $341.00. Please mail payment to 1524 N. Keowee St. Dayton Ohio 45404 within the next 30 days. Failure to do so will result in further legal actions.
Thank You!
Have a Here to There Day!

All I can say about this company is that they SUCK!! I would not deal with a shady company like this if you want professional movers of any kind. The [redacted] of this company is a spineless lair.

The people who moved us were wonderful. Unfortunately, damage was done to a high chest. The insurance coverage for a deep gough is $48.00. Thats an insult! Should we have to purchase additional insurance for this business? Horrible... Horrible management and business. Again the workers were wonderful and tipped very well for their hard work.

We hired these movers to do a small job and damaged things without willing pay for them.

They were supposed to move me sometime between 12-5 on June 30 . I received a call at noon stating they were down a truck and did not think they would make the 5 p.m. deadline and would now be there by 8 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. I received a call saying they were further delayed and would not be there until 10 p.m. At 10:30 p.m. I called the driver and he gave me his manager's number, a Chris B[redacted]. I spoke with Chris and after hearing many excuses, he told me a truck would be at my house at 8 a.m. At 8 a.m. I called and left a message with Chris and the driver from the previous day. After no response, I called the corporate office and spoke with Stan. Stan said he would call Chris and get back to me. At 8:30 I called back and spoke with Stan who said he had left a message for Chris but would now call another manager. At 9 a.m. I called back and spoke with Jessica. Jessica said she would call Chris and I explained that multiple calls have already been made to Chris and that was not going to work. I told Jessica she had one hour to come up with a solution or I will be contacting the Revdex.com. It is now 10:02 a.m.

I purchased a Groupon for $99 that would give me $200 worth of moving expenses. According to their write-up that would provide "2 men with a truck," and it mentioned that there is a 2 hour minimum and an additional fee for a weekend move, but that was all. Based on that ad, I was going to schedule 2 hours which would come to $198, perfect for what I needed. Then I call the schedule the move and learn that there's an additional fee of $80 for the truck, even though the ad says it 2 men WITH a truck! Very shady and deceptive way of doing business!

Two days prior to this complaint being filed a check was issued in an effort to settle this claim and has since been cashed.
We have interviewed each of the movers, all said that they did not see or steal the ring. The Here To There team has no history of theft. We have gone thru a process of...

taking the claim and issuing a check after attempting repair. These men have no reason to steal from our customers. We are very sorry that the ring was lost but we do not have the ring.
The original damage claim filed stated "The ring was in a pile of crap...". The ring was not packed therefore we would not have moved it.
We suggested that the police be contacted and a report has been filed,
however we have heard nothing from the police and if we do will
cooperate 100%.
Again we are sorry for the loss but have no reason to believe our team stole the ring.
Thank you,

Getting these movers was one of the worst decisions I made about this move. While scheduling the move I spoke with three different customer service agents to make sure they would be able to move my treadmill. I gave the model number of my treadmill and each one assured me that they will have no problem moving it and they will have all the tools they need if they do have to disassemble the machine. On the day of the move, the movers showed up a few hours late and looked at the treadmill, then told me that they will have to see if they can move it. They put all the other furniture in the truck and in the end told me that they won’t be able to move it without disassembling it. I told them to go ahead with it. Then they informed me that "legally they are not allowed to touch the machine and if the customer service agents had told me that they would disassemble it then they flat out lied to me". I tried calling customer service but no one was available to help me so I proceed to disassemble my treadmill, had to run out and get my wrenches because movers did not have any tools with them (I was assured by the customer service that they would). I took care of disassembling my treadmill with the help of my brother while I paid these movers an extra $119 dollars to stand and watch. They charged me $25 for wrapping my furniture but did not do a good job of it (because “legally they are required to” and still damaged my leather couch at the bottom and damaged my treadmill in the move. I called customer service agents multiple times after that and each time they told me they were not sure why the movers said that and an area manager will call me back but no one has bothered to call until now. It has been almost three months now. I have filed a claim with the company but have not heard anything from them after I sent them the pictures so I am not sure what is going on. But one thing is for sure I would never hire them again because I can deal with some damage in the move but dishonesty and shady business practice is a whole different thing.

I did say that I got the items out of my home because you left them.  I had no clue that the stuff was left in the basement because we didn't do a walk thru. You can bet your bottom dollar someone from your company stole my ring because no one else came in nor out after you left my home. You a won't take responsibility for anything. This is completely unacceptable and a bad way to conduct business. I have three children and had my ring for four years and they know not to touch my ring, so surely to God someone grown should know not to touch something that doesn't belong to them. I am very upset that your company would behave like this after all the stuff [redacted] said and [redacted] that would happen and after all of the emails back and forth this is sad.

Dear Revdex.com Dayton and Columbus,
Please accept our apology for the inconvenience during your recent move with Here To There Movers. We understand
that moving is very stressful and please know that your move is important to
our company.
Thank you for opportunity to reply. Please note that the franchise owner of the Dayton and Columbus office is [redacted] Enterprises LLC with a PUCO #[redacted]. This does NOT apply to the PUCO #
?
[redacted] with the name of Here To There Inc, just want to clarify that up front, Thanks.
[redacted] Enterprises DBA Here To There Movers had offered this customer $100 for the missing ipad. She has not given us an address to mail this check, as is our policy if she agrees to this amount. Our owner is now retracting this offer because it has gone unanswered since 9/4. Communication has been open and she is currently seeking $499. Our offer is now at the .60 per pound that our BOL states and Ms. [redacted] assigns.
[redacted] returned a call and was not willing to accept the $100 payment for missing ipad. Our research shows and we determined that you can purchase a 2 year old ipad for approx: $100. She was informed and she elected to take the minimal reimbursement at $0.60/lb. on loss or damaged items but was willing to go above and beyond and pay out $100. She then hung up on our business owner. Please see attached the signed and initialed Bill of Lading.
Thank you,

The movers showed up 1.5 hours late. I missed appointments and had to rearrange many things at home. Communication was horrible. My name, street info etc was all misspelled, they also called the number I asked them not too, I provided my cell as an alternate
But above all they did not wrap my furniture. They damaged it. And after numerous calls, emails, etc they have not repaired it.

I hired the movers a week in advance. They were to arrive between 8-10 am and did not show up until 11:30am.
The mover Ray did call to let me know he "had to be the one to come out and see me." He also let me know he wasn't making any more money by working on his day off.
During the move they were fine, but did waste time trying to hook my belongings up, even tho I told them I didn't need that done. They are paid by the hour but let's not milk the single mom.
Further more, once they had payment and were to have been gone, I came out to my car to see the helper walking away from it.
Thinking nothing at the time I went about my day for only two miles... Then I realized I had a flat tire. A razor blade was shoved into and broken off in my tire.
I can't help but wonder how great the company is since their employees act like that.

Would have given one star by could not because of the system. Loaded  my daughter last week for a move to Florida and damaged multiple pieces of furniture. wrapped stuff that did wrap items that need to be wrapped. Hundreds of dollars in damage. When she spoke to the owner he basically told her it was not his problem and offered her the number for the Revdex.com. their rating is so low I guess he just does not care. Was extremely nasty. Would not use them if they were free.Just the worst. The Florida movers to unloaded the truck commented they hoped we did not pay someone to load the truck like this.
