The inquiry indicated several concerns that Ms*** has had with her account, which I will address as follows
First, Ms*** expressed she felt she received poor customer serviceWe at Fingerhut always strive for excellence and professionalism in all customer interactions and we apologize if this was not accomplished
Next, she claimed that she did not receive statements for September-December Our records indicate that she is set up to receive her statements electronicallyStatements were sent to her email address ***@GMAIL.COM until the account became delinquent in May of At this time, paper statements resumedPayments were due on the 18th of each month, and it is our policy that, if payments are late or short of the minimum due, late fees will be applied to the accountOur records show that we did not receive a payment in September, October, and November In December 2014, we received a payment of $78, which did not meet the minimum amount due
Lastly, Ms*** is unhappy with the four late payments which are reflecting on her credit reportWe are unable to remove the delinquency history from the credit report, as we are required by law to furnish accurate monthly payment and account history to the credit bureaus

Mr*** further states that when he called a month later to pay the remaining balance, he was told that the Fingerhut account had charged off and been sold to a third party collections agencyMr*** is requesting that Fingerhut delete the trade line and remove any associated late fees and interest Based on our research, the Fingerhut credit account ending in *** was opened online December 4, with Mr***‘s personal identifiable informationAn order was placed over the phone on December 5, for a Cuisinart/Keurig K-Cup Brewing System Silver and a Beats Pill Bluetooth Speaker with Mic in WhiteThe merchandise were delivered via FHome to the address provided on the credit application Our records indicate, on November 1, 2014, a payment of $was received over the phone using checking account ending in *** which brought the account current. On November 7, 2014, the payment of $was reversed by Mr***’s bank due to an incorrect bank account numberMr***‘s account reverted back into a delinquent status Please note that Mr***‘s account is a revolving account which means there is a required minimum amount due each monthWhen a payment is not received by the due date, the minimum monthly payment amount due the next month will be higher and will continue to be higher until the correct minimum amount due is received. Additionally, we may charge a late fee and interest charges will accrue on the balance owed. I am rejecting this response because: due to the fact that finger hut shipped three items which were on the same order as three separate shipments which caused my shipping payments to be a little over (items at ea and the third item at 50.00) I have been taken advantage of and played for stupidI know what shipping fees normally are and there is no way I should have been billed that much for shipping

However, as I have been working for almost an entire year to have this issue resolved, I am disappointed that it could take up to two months before it is stricken from my record. I wonder if there is a way to expedite this so that I may continue with my financial plans on which are highly dependent upon my credit report. I am very VERY grateful for the work that the Revdex.com put in to assist me in the resolution of this claim. Since I was a young person, I have always heard people speak of the Revdex.com and the company is often a part of suggestions when people are facing an unfair business experience. However, I would always kinda chalk it up to just another company with a reputation that it could not likely live up to anymore, if ever at all. Ms*** states the balance on her Fingerhut account was $in November when she made her payment onlineMs*** further states Fingerhut did not attempt to contact her and she was unaware of a problem until February Ms*** maintains a representative agreed with her situation and told her that Fingerhut would correct the error on her credit report and credit the feesMs*** is requesting that Fingerhut honor what she saw online and what the representative said regarding her credit report
According to our records, the balance on Ms***'s account was $when her statement printed November 6, Ms***'s account was current; she had not been charged any late fees since May
As previously stated, Ms*** made a payment of $on November 20, which left a balance of $When her statement printed on December 6, 2016, Ms*** was charged the minimum interest of $and for SafeLine account protectionThese charges brought her balance to $
Ms*** did not incur additional late fees until January and February which were credited as part of a payment arrangement made on February 26,
As stated in our previous response, in an attempt to resolve the past due on her account, Fingerhut began to call Ms*** on January 3, These calls continued until February 26, when the account was brought current
Ms*** spoke with an agent on January 20, 2016, but according to our records, Ms*** said she was at work and ended the call
Based on the available call recordings, we were unable to locate any documentation to support Ms***'s statement that she was promised by a representative that prior delinquencies would be removed
Ms*** was advised by an agent in the Credit bureau Department that the payment, two late fee credits and her current status would be reflected on her credit report on March 6,
The credit bureaus are reporting accurately as current with a balance of zeroThe delinquencies for February 2016, and April to July are also accurate
We cannot revise the information we are reporting to the credit bureaus as we are required by law to furnish accurate reportingPlease reference the Reporting and Monitoring section of our terms and conditions that was included in Ms***'s Welcome PacketIt states:
"If you fail to fulfill the terms of your credit obligation, a negative report reflecting on your credit records can be submitted to one or more credit reporting agencies."
Conversely, accounts that are in good standing will be reported as well

I just got another email from Fingerhut saying I am past due when I make my monthly payments on time...it is not even due until the 24th - but this is from the charges they continue to put on my account every month...I have every cancelled check to prove this =I just got one of these notices a
couple days ago as well and also my bill from them last week and then a separate bill again from them last week demanding the payment saying I am past due and to pay all those phoney charges they continue to accrue on my account...I email them and they refuse to respond and when I call them it is overseas and they are very nasty...this is insane...I hope you can get this resolved for me before I am forced to go legal with them

As I stated in my original complaint I will pay the remainder of the balance offIn light of how this was handled, I will never do business again with Gettington. They have offered me the option to have my account closedI will do that later today
