CONFIDENTIAL COMMUNICATION December 28, Revdex.com of Minnesota # [redacted] Attn: [redacted] S River Ridge Circle Burnsville, MN Re: Case # [redacted] - ***, [redacted] Dear Ms [redacted] , I am writing in response to the recent inquiry that we received from your office on behalf of Ms [redacted] regarding a WebBank/Gettington Credit Account Ms [redacted] states she was told we did not receive her October payment, but then later that month she saw the payment was credited to her accountShe states her payment was not late that month and the $late fee was our error, so she requests a refund for this late fee Our investigation confirms that Ms***’s due date is the 11th of every monthThe issue she describes impacted her September paymentWe agree Ms [redacted] uses her bank’s Bill Pay service each month, which they send as a check by mail, not electronicallyThis check was dated and mailed “September 9, 2016,” and the Payment Department applies payments immediately upon receiving them On September 12, 2016, a payment reminder call was made to Ms***, who stated we should have already received the paymentRecords show we received the $payment on September 14, 2016, although it was applied with a back-date of September 10, and considered paid on time so no late fee resultedHowever, as Ms [redacted] states, she put a stop payment on this check, and it was returned to us as an invalid payment on September 21, This effectively meant her September payment had not been received, so a $late fee was assessed on the same date The amount needed to bring the account current by the October 11, due date was $48.72, the combined total of September and October’s $required minimum dueWe received a $payment on October 8, 2016, so the amount needed to bring the account current by her November 11, due was $with $of that being past dueThe two $payments received on November and November 11, paid the account current Due to the unique circumstances, we have made an exception to our standard policy and credited the $late feeIt is already applied to her account and will reflect on a future statement for her records Ms [redacted] should request her Bill Pay payments be made electronically to ensure they are received and applied as quickly as possible or, if mailed, to do so at least a week in advance of her due date Thank you for allowing us to assist and explain Sincerely, Vi [redacted] Executive Care Team VF/ah

I am rejecting this response because: In reference to complaint # [redacted] I have checked on the Fingerhut site on "MY ACCOUNT" page the balance now presently listed is $from the previously listed amount of $ I am sorry but it also stated a small amount of change listed in the $balance but I cannot list it, I do not exactly remember what it was and I am not going to falsify an amount But as far as the large dollar amount it was definitely $ I did call Fingerhut after receiving a letter from the Billing Department at 1-866-836-and spoke to a repas was requested in the letter dated July 19,in reference to this situationI was told by the repthat fees would be removed from my acctwithin to business cycles At this present time, checking my accton the Fingerhut site they have already deducted a dollar amount The exact balance amount to date is now $ As it stands presently, it does seem to me that anywhere between $ and $dollars has been deducted According to the conversation with the repand the amtlisted in the Revdex.com email message $and also $dollars was to be deducted As per my original email to the Revdex.com I did list (in reference to my conversation with the rep also at Fingerhut my payments for months would be $July, August, and Sept2016) what my payments would be, $and if rounded off to the nearest dollar $on no later than the 3rd of each month in which I have submitted July 1, the first payment of $ I will follow with another paymtof the same amtby Aug3, I expect to go back to paymtdates and monthly paymtsas of Oct2016, with a due date of Oct18th each month I am truly hoping that since Fingerhut began deducting, they will begin to stick to their part and continue to deduct the exact amtas stated As of right now I don't agree with the amtbecause it doesn't add up to the exact amtslisted in the email or phone conversation The email did not list the promise of the month payment plan originally approved to me in June by the rep It was only mentioned in the latest phone conversation after receiving the letter to call the billing dept I feel a certain amtof distrust because of the extreme changes I experienced with several (5) repsat Fingerhut that I originally tried to settle this situation with, and I ended up having to take this to an extreme level which to me should not have had to happen So I feel that my lack of trust for this company is justifiedAs I mentioned I will follow up and continue to pay my bill down and all I want is for Fingerhut to do their part I have been an excellent customer with one problem that surfaced after several years as a customer After this is over completely, all I want to do in a friendly civil way is part ways upon completion of this matter

I am rejecting this response because: Half of this information is incorrectThe continue to call me through an automatic dailer and I have proof that they sold my account but is still trying to collect payments from meIn addition what they sold my account for is not what is owed to themI haven't made any payment arrangements because they don't even know what is going on with my accountPlease review attachment if Fingerhut credit is issue through web bankPlease address this letter and your representative hung up on me because she could not answer my question listen to recorded conversation
