Since receiving this complaint our customer service department has been in touch with the customer and was able to address their concernsAt this time the balance in question has been removed so there is nothing further owed, there will be no future charges, and the account has been cancelled in fullAdditionally, we have placed their information on our Do Not Contact list to avoid future communications and are considering the matter as closed

Since receiving this complaint our customer service department made multiple attempts to reach this customer but were not successful in contacting them to address their concernsWhile we are still optimistic that we will be able to resolve the concerns in this complaint on amicable terms, due to a lack of communication we must at this time consider the matter closed

Although we were not able to make contact with this customer, we would like to use this opportunity to inform that their desired resolution has been providedUpon reviewing their account we found that the customer had made a good faith effort to cancel their membership within the allowable time frame to receive a refundWe have since processed that refund, there will not be any future charges, and their account has been cancelled per their request

We have been in touch with this customer, were able to address and resolve their concerns, and at this time we can confirm that their account has been closed with no further balance owed and that no collections activity was pursued

While the company did finally remove our name from there advertisingThey have completely fabricated the fact that they respect ALL customers requests for listing removalsWe had to contact Home Advisor multiple times and were lied to time after time about what they would doI have read a large amount of complaints from other contractors that have had the same problems with there serviceClearly this IS the way they do businessWhen they cant show local contractors listed on there web page in an area it is detrimental to there businessThis is clearly why they feel the need to bully the local contractors that are trying to sever ties with the companyIf this company was upstanding, they would not let things go so far, that people are filing complaints against them on multiple forums, social media, etc

We were able to reach this customer and have addressed their concernsWe found that there had been some confusion as the result of a prior conversation in January of this year regarding the customer's account statusBecause a particular form credits were applied to the account at that time, the account was not fully cancelled, but had instead been placed on hold for daysAs a result, the account was reactivated once that window had expired, and new charges were appliedIn light of this, we were able to amend the outstanding balance associated with the account, cancelled the account per the customer's request, and have parted ways on friendly terms

While we have briefly been in touch with this customer, we have not yet had the opportunity to fully discuss their concerns as listed in this complaintWe do still hope to have that conversation, resolve this complaint, and will provide an update once one is warranted

While we have not been in touch with this customer, we do have information to provide regarding their concernsThe listing provided in this complaint resulted from the efforts of a third party affiliate, and our company had previously been unaware of the site in questionUpon receiving this complaint, we were able to contact the company that owns the domain, and we have since instructed them to remove any and all keywords associated with this customer, in particular the phrase " [redacted] ," from their search parametersWe have received confirmation from that party that our request was met, and the customer should no longer see any marketing interference from that site

While we were able to reach the customer named as the complainant on this matter, the customer was adamant that they had not filed any complaints against us and that they were not privy to this filing whatsoeverAt this point we have emailed the customer a copy of this complaint in order to determine who may have filed it and how best to proceedWe will provide any further updates regarding this concern as they develop

We have been in touch with this customer and were able to hold a productive conversation regarding their concerns and the details of their account with our serviceCredit has been applied to their account and we are pleased to still count the customer as an active member of our network

Since the filing of this complaint our customer service department has been in touch with this customer and were able to address their concerns in regards to the reviews appearing on their profileDuring this process our Ratings and Reviews team has made multiple attempts to reach the consumers whose information was provided to us by this customer, and since the filing of this complaint we were able to reach several more of them and have added positive reviews from satisfied customers as requestedPer our established process and in order to preserve the integrity of our rating and reviews, we must make direct contact with a homeowner in order to post a Consumer Verified Review that was not facilitated through our service request processWhile it is unfortunate that we are at times unable to make contact with homeowners to obtain a review, we are always willing to attempt contact with newer consumers for whom a contractor has completed a more recent job in the pursuit of keeping their reviews current and up to dateAt this time the customer remains an active member of our service network and we look forward to fostering a productive business relationship between our two companies

While there may have been some overlap regarding our collections cycle and/or activity with the agreement that was made with this customer, we would like to assure the customer that their account has been pulled from collections with their account cancelled in full as agreedAt this time there is no further balance owed, and there should not be any further communication from the collections agency regarding any further financial obligations

Prior to receiving this complaint, our customer service management team had been in extensive contact with this customer and were able to reach a resolutionA settlement was agreed to regarding the outstanding balance associated with the customer's account and at this time we are considering the matter closed
