We contacted A+, Heating, Cooling, and Electric Co. on a Monday, because of a malfunctioning HVAC unit. The phone was answered by a very pleasant Malissa, who was able to schedule me for service immediately. The tech, Eric, came early and proceeded to inspect the outside HVAC unit giving us trouble. He made his diagnosis quickly, made the repair, and asked to show me some problem which often happens the fins of older units. It seems the aluminum fins react with the salt air present so near to the ocean. We discussed what to look for in the future, because one of the units was over 8 years old. I enjoyed working with Eric, and look forward to having him service my HVAC units in the future. This is a very professional company and I will use them again.
We arrived at our Ocean Isle condo to find our heating/air unit was not working. I called A+ with whom we have a maintenance contract. Malissa, always courteous and fun, quickly scheduled a visit and Robert was right on time for the visit. Robert has helped us previously, and is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and willing to make certain my wife and I understand the problems. He worked nonstop for several hours to fix the problem which required ordering a memory card which came in several days later. We weren't there, but when he finally had us up and running he immediately called us to report all was well. These folks are the best at communicating and do all they can do to meet your schedule. This is really important when you're not a permanent resident and only there for a short period of time. Can't say enough good things about this company--especially Robert and Malissa!
I have never met Melissa in person. We've talked on the phone for several years. She's very good on the phone--knowledgeable, pleasant, polite, professional and interested in helping me get what I need.
I had not seen John for some time before this week's regular semi-annual maintenance. He came when scheduled, which I appreciate very much. He's very interested in doing a good job testing and cleaning the HVAC systems. I like that he checks to see what questions I might have about our 4 HVAC systems and the work he's done. He is outgoing, friendly, helpful and cleans up any mess there may be from his work.
