I am sorry Mr*** was confused by our service. Our company offers two services neither which are required, but if a customer "Requests" a Designation of Homestead Form we prepare the legal document that the homeowner would file at their county recorder's office. The second service
we offer is a recording service where we would file the Designation of Homestead document for them. The fee charged for this service is to cover our cost for mailing, delivery and the recording fee at the counties (usually $30). I have gone ahead and refund Mr*** his $via his credit card. He should see this refund in approximately to days. Please take advantage of your Designation of Homestead document you received from us and record it at your county recorder's office.Thanks
