Honda Cars of Katy Reviews (75)

Date Sent: 12/18/2015 2:29:25 PMIt's actually the customer's responsibility to make sure the information is correct, that's why we have you sign the cancellation form, verifying it's accuracy. I have attached the forms again, if you cannot see them, you will have to contact the Revdex.com to see why you can't see them. As I stated, part of the delay is that you canceled so quickly after you agreed to the coverage. The initial coverage was still in the process stages. Had you cancelled at a later time, I'm told it would have been quicker. I can't tell you what the warranty company said or their processes. I only know that we sent the cancellation in in a timely manner, cut the check to the lienholder within a week of receiving a statement from them stating it had been cancelled, then resent the check when [redacted] sent it back to us, as you can see in the attachments. It serves us no purpose to hold up your money, we gain nothing by doing so, other than having to take time to answer a complaint from an angry customer, which we don't like any more than you do. I'm not sure why you think that we are somehow benefitting from it, but we're not. We are not collecting your interest. Neither is the warranty company. The check was reissued on 12/15, as can be seen in the attachments. Thank you.

Again, no name, what are you people afraid of?  And NO I was not allowed to see the buyers order for the final numbers. I thought I ask for some truthful responses
And I still don't have the names to put on the service paper for the small claims court.  From this point on Illl will assume it will be the General Managers name.
See you in court.
Regards,
[redacted]

The refunded amount on the extended warranty and GAP coverage does get sent to your lienholder to do the very thing you mentioned, it reduces the principal and taxes and the interest charges as the principal balance does get reduced by those refunds. I'm not sure who told you any differently, but that is what happens. I'm not sure what you mean by "third party" as all warranty comapanies, including Honda, are third party companies. You are correct in saying that you already had one year of coverage paid for by the dealership for some of your warranites included in the driveout price, those cannot be cancelled. You were informed that those warranties were extensions of the one year already provided by us and signed, by you, to that effect. All the coverage that can be cancelled has been. Thank you.

Yes, I received it. Thank you. I will get the check cut to you today. It will go in the mail today or tomorrow.Tell us why here...

This letter is to inform you that Honda Cars of Katy has carried out to my satisfaction the resolution it proposed for my complaint, filed on 1/**/2014...

Honda Cars of Katy would like to apologize for Ms. [redacted] experience. If she will contact [redacted] at [redacted] xtn 1300 we will arrange to have a check made out for $500.00 to settle this issue.  Ms. [redacted] will need to sign an As Is form, however, stating that Honda Cars of Katy will not responsible for any future or additional issues with this car. As she had had it checked by a third party mechanic, we don't anticipate that this will be an issue. Thanks ad please have her contact [redacted] as soon as possible.

I have enclosed the contracts Mr. [redacted] signed. He either initialled or signed in three different areas: the warranty contracts, the buyers order and finally the contract, which all clearly disclose the coverages he elected, and chose not to elect, and the amounts for them. The finance...

manager went over each offered coverage verbally, explaining what each offered service was, then had Mr. [redacted] sign, again in three different areas, to assure full disclosure. It's evident that the finance department went over these coverages, as Mr. [redacted] did refuse some of the offered coverages. He can cancel the vehicle service contract ([redacted]), but the other items he elected and signed for are non refundable. Please see the attached documents verifying his signatures. Should he decide cancel the [redacted], he simply needs to call the number on the form. They will get the cancellation documents to him to sign, then a check will be issued to the lender to be taken from the principal balance.  Thank you.

Regards,
I do not have a full voicemail and have not received any phone calls from Honda. The GM has my email address if there was an issue of contacting me. My oil changes are based on the Honda Civic oil change indicator and I came in when it was at 40%.  I was advised to bring the car in anytime before below 50% but I would be questioned if I brought it in before an oil change was indicated. The missing fasteners were a direct result of having my oil changed there and it was confirmed it was not due to me running over something in addition to the after market filter. I was very happy with my purchase experience and bought the oil change package to make sure it was serviced properly. My safety was put at risk as well as my car. I gave ample opportunity for Honda of Katy to respond. I am only asking for exactly what I am out of pocket. The oil change package, my time off work based on my hourly wage (which I can provide my wages) and the towing.

I have spoken with the service director and he said the diagnostics were labor intensive, resulting in the charges being higher. he did mention that the recomendations we made were confirmed when [redacted] sought a second opinion. We would like to look at speed sensor to see if in fact...

the new part is failing...it will be covered under our service warranty if that's in fact the case. All that being said, we certainly can see this customers point of view and are happy to issue a credit. Please have her contact [redacted] to discuss that. We do want her to be happy. Thanks and we look forward to hearing from her.

It's possible it got hung up in junk or spam, but the record will clearly show when the credit union forwarded it, and to whom. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  All the coverage, warranties, GAP, extensions, and etc. that can be cancelled have already been cancelled-- is that correct? Meaning I do NOT have to do anything more & anything else as everything that can be cancelled is already done?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.

We do want to clarify something...[redacted], when asked, told us that her $[redacted] check had bounced. The manager asked her then what she was wanting to collect, and she stated that she wanted her NSF fees. In her resolution request, however, she states that she wants the return of her $[redacted]. We are still operating under the assumption that what she told us is true, that her check did bounce. We have yet to receive notice of that, but it typically takes a few days and the comptroller is out, so we cannot tell today if it bounced in our account. If it did not bounce, I don't know why she would tell us it did, but we will gladly refund her down payment. If it did bounce, I'm not sure why she would ask for the $[redacted] that we were unable to collect from her.

We spoke to Mr. [redacted] yesterday and I believe this is resolved. He is coming in to cancel his warrant, and maybe GAP. Please advise if this is not the case.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have...

determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  [They are saying that they did everything right but their dishonesty is evident from the their definition of drive out price. They think that I and anyone else who read or listen to them are dumb and stupid. AS EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT DRIVEOUT PRICE IS THE PRICE THAT ONE PAY TO DRIVE THE CAR OUT OF THE DEALERSHIP. WHICH INCLUDE VEHICLE PRICE, TAX, TITLE, ETC. NOTHING EXTRA IS NEEDED TO PAY TO DEALERSHIP IN ORDER TO TAKE THAT VEHICLE HOME.I was told that even after committing to dive out price they will not let me drive the car out without paying more for additional coverage.
Now if I absolutely must have to pay additional amount then the drive out price that I was promised was lie or if not then they should let have the vehicle for the for the DRIVE OUT price of $40000 and all the money for all the additional coverage on top of the vehicle price of $40,000.
They are saying that I signed the paper, now tell me where does it says that it is non- refundable. And Again, I am ASKING THEM TO BE FAIR AND KEEP THE WORDS. WHEN THEY COMMITTED TO DRIVE OUT PRICE THEN LET ME DRIVE THE VEHICLE FOR THAT PRICE.
THIS IS BIG DEALERSHIP BUT INSTEAD OF HAVING THEIR CUSTOMER SATISFIED,  THEY ARE ARGUING AND MAKING SURE TO PROVE THAT THEIR CUSTOMER IS STUPID, DUMB AND COMPLETELY WRONG.
I SIMPLY FAIL TO UNDERSTAND WHAT WILL THEY GAIN FROM THIS KIND OF ATTITUDE. TOTAL DISREGARD OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
AGAIN, I WILL URGE TO DO THE RIGHT THIS AND CANCEL ALL THE COVERAGE AND REFUND THE WHOLE AMOINT ON TOP OF $40,000.
THX
