Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I did not say the job looked "great" We wouldn't be in this situation if that were the case You did NOT install the green board, my husband did! So in addition to misleading me about the color of the tile to be installed, I was mislead about the charges and paid your company for work that my husband did That's outrageous Here are additional photos of the job: [redacted] There is also a thick layer of thin-set remaining on the adjacent wall There are drippings on my marble shower trim (see photos)Caulking was NOT done around the majority of the tile perimeter and the caulk that was done was sloppy (see photos) I was willing to overlook these issues because they significantly pale in comparison to the fact that I have two different tile colors in my bathroom! The shower doors are NOT going to hide the contrast as the mismatched tiles extend beyond where the glass ends To illustrate my point about the wide availability of my bathroom tile, I have attached a photo of one that I picked up at ***'s for cents Again, if Allen hadn't mislead me, I would have gladly picked the tiles up myself! I did not expect you to have literally the exact brand/product that was installed in my shower years ago, but I did expect it to be the correct COLOR and no I was NOT shown the tile prior to the install I was working from home at the time of install and not paying attention to the job because, again, I trusted that things would go well Regarding me paying for the work-I was alone in my home with two men I did not know, of course I was not going to refuse to pay them and risk some kind of confrontation!Regarding you striving for the best possible customer service-the misleading me about having the right tile for the job, lying about installing greenboard and caulking properly, leaving a mess, and worst of all Allen cursing me out and hanging up on me and then refusing to answer subsequent calls/voicemails is literally the worst customer service experience I've ever known I trusted you and I really wanted to work with your company directly to have the work revised Despite the unsightly job I had faith that your company had the integrity and pride to make it right Would you show off the attached photos on your website to show off? I highly doubt it I'm sorely disappointed that it had to come to this! I expect a resolution

In response to this customers complaint, we do not sell tilesWe did our work according to the contract agreed to.? The attached contract, given March 9, is to install new Green board/concrete backer, and then install ALMOND 4xtiles and grout in non sanded and then to remove and replace caulking in this shower.? The price was given at the time of estimateThe customer set the date for the work per our contract to be completed March 28, 2017.? On that day, when the work was completed the customer signed our Certificate of Completion form stating they have inspected our work and found it to be done by the grout medic in a satisfactory and workmanlike manner (please see attached)And then paid for the work completedPer the contract and inspection of the work we would have no reason to change or alter anything.? Please understand when using old tiles and mixing in new tiles to a portion of the area the tiles will not matchAgain at the time of the estimate on March 9, the customer was made aware as you can see on the written promise given the tiles mentioned are ALMONDMy technicians Chris and Joe had shown the customer several times during and after the workThe customer said how great it looked, signed our cert and paid with a credit cardThe customer called the office saying she hadn't seen the tiles color even though they were in and out of the bathroom during the installationOnce the shower door in on the two areas of old vs new tiles will be separated and less contrastWe are a small family owned company and we strive for our best possible customer service and workmanshipWe did everything we were hired for on this job and we believe it to be a job well done to industry standards and there will be no need to alter or refund for our completed work

The customer had two floors done has been refunded for one floor and we will issue a check for the $to close this caseOnly as a token of good customer service to [redacted] Thank you, ?

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the Grout Medic is insisting that this is a mold issue.? It is NOT.? It has been determined by a maintenance professional to be an issue of the grout coming out as I told him.? Just by repeatedly stating that this is mold and is not covered by the contract is ridiculous.? He is also not addressing the issue that before deciding to have the job done, I was told by The Grout Medic that the grout would last years.? He did not mention that he had to come back one week after the job was completed for repair and also on 4/25/15.? Since his repairs do not last, I want to be reimbursed for a job "not well done" Regards, [redacted]

So in addition to misleading me about the color of the tile to be installed, I was mislead about the charges and paid your company for work that my husband did. That's outrageous Here are additional photos of the job: ***There is also a thick layer of thin-set remaining on the adjacent wall. There are drippings on my marble shower trim (see photos)Caulking was NOT done around the majority of the tile perimeter and the caulk that was done was sloppy (see photos). I was willing to overlook these issues because they significantly pale in comparison to the fact that I have two different tile colors in my bathroom! The shower doors are NOT going to hide the contrast as the mismatched tiles extend beyond where the glass ends To illustrate my point about the wide availability of my bathroom tile, I have attached a photo of one that I picked up at ***'s for cents. Again, if Allen hadn't mislead me, I would have gladly picked the tiles up myself! I did not expect you to have literally the exact brand/product that was installed in my shower years ago, but I did expect it to be the correct COLOR and no I was NOT shown the tile prior to the install. I trusted you and I really wanted to work with your company directly to have the work revised. Despite the unsightly job I had faith that your company had the integrity and pride to make it right. Would you show off the attached photos on your website to show off? I highly doubt it I'm sorely disappointed that it had to come to this! I expect a resolution
