Mbr signed up for one year and was given a deal because she wanted classes Mbr agreed to pay $per month for her and her secondary member rather than paying the $per month for the membership she requested Mbr's enrollment fee and last month fee were also waived because she agreed to sign up for one year The member signed the agreement in three different places Should member want to contact me to discuss a payment deal to let her out of her agreement I would be more than happy to help her.Thank you [redacted]

The agreement the member signed clearly states IB Fitness must be given at Day Notice in writing should member choose to terminate their membership with us Member claimed she sent a letter to ABC Financial requesting her membership to be cancelled which was not received by ABC Financial nor was a letter requesting cancellation received by IB Fitness.Member was given the benefit of the doubt with regards to the alleged letter sent to ABC Financial and was given a Day Cancellation Notice from the effective date of said letter Member still refused to willingly pay her last payment due with regards to the Day Cancellation Notice Sincerely, [redacted] IB Fitness

Look I never ever rant but I feel like this it deserves something negative to be said about himI've been going to IB Fitness the past months and at the start I loved it here the trainers were great and I felt at home but after a couple months all the people I liked (including the trainers) left because of the management and now I see whyI had issues with my membership because I had paid for a membership and I wanted to change my membership type and was told it was done and it never was so my membership expired early when it should've lasted till the end of DecemberI called the manager [redacted] and he would not talk to me and hung up on meSo I came in to speak with himHe would not speak to me alone and stop what he was doing for even secondsInstead he got super irate and started cussing me out in the most unprofessional wayTelling me he wasn't going to do anything for me and to [redacted] off getting in my face asking me if I wanted to start somethingI was not irate or verbally abusive with him in any way and then he got physical and shoved me multiple times until I was out on the sidewalkI personally don't care if I'm at a park playing ball and get into a fightBut how in the heck are you going to do that in a professional settingHow are you going to threaten a person who is giving you business like thatLiterally can't believe [redacted] was incapable of just dealing with a customer who was having a membership issue in a professional mannerHe was trying to cover his end by saying that he felt threatened and that he had witnesses (his employees that would definitely side with him) I don't know how he felt threatened in any way especially when he was the one being abusive verbally and physically Out of my own personal safety I took out my phone and recorded the restYou can see how irate he was in the video and how I definitely did not pose any threat whatsoever when her came up to me and started shoving me onto the sidewalk Never got my issue resolved or my moneys worth Will not be coming backAnd if I had the money to do so I would press charges trust meIt doesn't matter what the employee does as long as he is within his rights and isn't crossing legal boundaries you cannot treat someone that way It is absolutely ridiculous that someone like that has a job in that "professional" facility

First and foremost, IB Fitness does not advertise as a Crossfit gym We were denied affiliation due to the Functional Fitness room being associated with a gym IB Fitness was given the go ahead to practice Crossfit based classes “WODS.” With regards to the membership agreement the member filled out, IB Fitness does not have a new member sign an agreement without the ENTIRE agreement filled out prior to any signatures That is not how IB Fitness deals with new memberships Members are also given a carbon copy of the signed agreement and members are present during the agreement process This member clearly did not pay attention to what he was signing and/or what he was given at the end the agreement process When the member decided he wanted to cancel his agreement the owner advised the member he was in an agreement and gave the member the option of paying for two (2) months rather than fulfilling the rest of his agreementThis member agreed to do so Shortly thereafter, the Functional Fitness room was dismantled only to be put into a bigger space for the WOD based classes NOTHING was taken away from the Functional Fitness member This member decided he did not like the “WOD” based classes in another area of the gym Lastly, after seeing the Functional Fitness room had moved to another area of the gym, this particular member barged into the owner’s office and began to raise his voice He was politely asked to leave the office due to his demeanor and character that was displayed This member chose not to leave when asked and was then asked again to leave No threats were made

Mr [redacted] contacted our facility on March 19th via emailHe stated that he is going to be deployed and he attached his orders please cancel his contractOur response was simply, please come in to fill out proper documentation prior to deploymentMr [redacted] never replied or went in to the gymPer IB Fitness contract and policy (Mr [redacted] does have his signed copy) it clearly states that cancellations are only done in person or via certified mailday notice must be given and the account must be in good standingIf the member is in a contract and not month to month, legal proof must be provided that member will be moving more than 25miles away, and there will be a $early termination feeTherefore Mr [redacted] never went through the proper procedures in order to cancel his membership contract with IB Fitness, and unfortunately the account did go past due, and Mr [redacted] was transferred to our collection agency after being over $past dueWe are sorry this situation had to happen, but we are not willing to cancel the debt owed by Mr [redacted] or remove him from collections until the account is paid in fullWe are willing to provide any copies requested by the Revdex.com or attorneys of Mr [redacted] signed contract Pasted below is our email communication with Mr [redacted] from March of this year [redacted] Subject: Re:Hi ***,Please stop by the gym to fill out the proper paperwork for your cancellation requestThank you!! Unfortunately I have been swindled by this place After I moved out of the region, I cancelled my debit card on file with them and they contacted me to inform me I have to pay for another month just to cancel my month to month membership or they would send my bills to a collections agency This is just bad business When I called them and told them I haven't even used their facility in over a year the guy on the phone got angry and told me I was getting an attitude with him, even though I was completely calm and it was the other way around I suggest steering clear of this place

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe response from IB Fitness alleges that I did not correctly cancel my club membershipThis is patently falseMy gym membership obligation was due to expire on May 20, As per the contract, I sent a written notice to cancel my membershipThe notification was sent to the address on the gym contract, ABC Financial Services, Incon April 16, The notice was sent certified mail with a signature return receipt request According to the return receipt that I received, ABC Financial received my letter on April 20, The receipt was signed by [redacted] of ABC Financial Services, Inc Despite my putting my correct address on my Certified Mail Return Receipt Request, and putting my correct return address on my envelop, ABC Financial sent a letter to my previous addressThe letter was dated days after evidence showed that ABC Financial had received my letterThe letter stipulated that I had no cancellation fees; however, neither ABC Financial nor IB Fitness were willing to cancel my membership Article number of return receipt: [redacted] An attempt was made on June 5th to discuss this issue with the owner of IB Fitness; however, he declined my request I was required to wait an entire minutes in the gym lobby before I was informed that the owner would not meet with meThe deceptiveness of IB Fitness and ABC Financial clearly demonstrates unethical, if not, fraudulent behavior Despite all my attempts to rectify this matter, IB Fitness and ABC Financial continue to fraudulent charge my credit card Regards, [redacted]

We are willing to provide a signed copy of Mr*** contract that explains our cancellation policy. We are sorry but we stand by our claim of dues owed in order to be removed from our collection agency

First and foremost, IB Fitness does not advertise as a
Crossfit gym. We were denied affiliation
due to the Functional Fitness room being associated with a gym. IB Fitness was given the go ahead to practice
Crossfit based classes “WODS.”
With regards to the membership
agreement the member
filled out, IB Fitness does not have a new member sign an agreement without the
ENTIRE agreement filled out prior to any signatures. That is not how IB Fitness deals with new
memberships. Members are also given a
carbon copy of the signed agreement and members are present during the
agreement process. This member clearly
did not pay attention to what he was signing and/or what he was given at the
end the agreement process.
When the member decided he wanted to cancel his
agreement the owner advised the member he was in an agreement and gave the
member the option of paying for two (2) months rather than fulfilling the rest
of his agreementThis member agreed to do so.
Shortly thereafter, the Functional Fitness room was
dismantled only to be put into a bigger space for the WOD based classes. NOTHING was taken away from the Functional
Fitness member. This member decided he
did not like the “WOD” based classes in another area of the gym.
Lastly, after seeing the Functional Fitness room had
moved to another area of the gym, this particular member barged into the owner’s
office and began to raise his voice. He
was politely asked to leave the office due to his demeanor and character that
was displayed. This member chose not to
leave when asked and was then asked again to leave. No threats were made
