Review: I had a one-year contract with IB Fitness. They automatically billed my credit card. I tried to cancel my gym membership by following all the rules outlined in the contract. I have documentation that all the guidelines were followed. They refused to cancel the contract and they continued to bill me AND they automatically renewed my contract without my consent. I went to the gym personally to discuss this. They made me wait 20 minutes. A guy finally came out and showed me a sheet of paper, saying that I should have filled this out. It was a Cancellation Notice. I said there was nothing in the contract that told me that this paper even existed. He said I should have known, and he would get the owner. I waited another 20 minutes. The same guy came back and said there's nothing the owner can do. But he said there was proof in my file that I did cancel my contract, but he said it didn't matter they were going to keep billing me. In short there is nothing I can do to stop them billing my credit card, even after my contract has expired.Desired Settlement: I want a REFUND for the months past my contract I have been billed and to stop the automatic billing.

The agreement the member signed clearly states IB Fitness must be given at 30 Day Notice in writing should member choose to terminate their membership with us. Member claimed she sent a letter to ABC Financial requesting her membership to be cancelled which was not received by ABC Financial nor was a letter requesting cancellation received by IB Fitness.Member was given the benefit of the doubt with regards to the alleged letter sent to ABC Financial and was given a 30 Day Cancellation Notice from the effective date of said letter. Member still refused to willingly pay her last payment due with regards to the 30 Day Cancellation Notice. Sincerely,[redacted]IB Fitness

Look I never ever rant but I feel like this it deserves something negative to be said about him. I've been going to IB Fitness the past 6 months and at the start I loved it here the trainers were great and I felt at home but after a couple months all the people I liked (including the trainers) left because of the management and now I see why. I had issues with my membership because I had paid 250 for a membership and I wanted to change my membership type and was told it was done and it never was so my membership expired early when it should've lasted till the end of December. I called the manager [redacted] and he would not talk to me and hung up on me. So I came in to speak with him. He would not speak to me alone and stop what he was doing for even 30 seconds. Instead he got super irate and started cussing me out in the most unprofessional way. Telling me he wasn't going to do anything for me and to [redacted] off getting in my face asking me if I wanted to start something. I was not irate or verbally abusive with him in any way and then he got physical and shoved me multiple times until I was out on the sidewalk. I personally don't care if I'm at a park playing ball and get into a fight. But how in the heck are you going to do that in a professional setting. How are you going to threaten a person who is giving you business like that. Literally can't believe [redacted] was incapable of just dealing with a customer who was having a membership issue in a professional manner. He was trying to cover his end by saying that he felt threatened and that he had witnesses (his employees that would definitely side with him). I don't know how he felt threatened in any way especially when he was the one being abusive verbally and physically. Out of my own personal safety I took out my phone and recorded the rest. You can see how irate he was in the video and how I definitely did not pose any threat whatsoever when her came up to me and started shoving me onto the sidewalk. Never got my issue resolved or my moneys worth. Will not be coming back. And if I had the money to do so I would press charges trust me. It doesn't matter what the employee does as long as he is within his rights and isn't crossing legal boundaries you cannot treat someone that way. It is absolutely ridiculous that someone like that has a job in that "professional" facility.

Review: I was current ly in this gym ib fitness I got a personal trainer I coundnt go to the sessions from an emergency matter the trainer [redacted] owed me my refund of 330 dlls its been 5 months and nothing hes being rude to me and he even looked me up on fb to talk to me but asoon as I told him what happen to my refund I havent hurd anything from him . I called the owner he neglected me his help he say that he didnt had to do anything about it for me to fix this with the trainer . Now I dont know what to do he keep my money and still hast gave me my refund back .Desired Settlement: 330 also its been 5 months I desire at least 1,000 for wating and him being rude to me .

Revdex.com,Mr. [redacted] was an independent trainer who used the facilities at IB Fitness to train his clients. All monies were paid to him and not to IB Fitness. When Mr. [redacted] separated from IB Fitness all of his clients were offered to train with another Personal Trainer. This includes Ms. [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] was given the option to train with another trainer and she chose not to. mr. [redacted] told me since the beggining that he was with the bussness ib fitness . Also I was never given a choice to change to a diffrent trainer they never gave me that option but still he is under the name ib fitness and hes training the people in that gym this is very unethical . I have tryed to reach the trainer but he never answer me and yet im wating for my refund of 330 dlls .

Mr. [redacted] separated from IB Fitness in May 2015. He is no longer training clients at IB Fitness. Again, he was not an employee of IB Fitness. He was an independent trainer who trained his own clients.
