We reviewed [redacted] membership and decided to cancel his membership, along with the balance he owed. reason [redacted] went to collections in the first place is because there is no record on file that he provided our billing company with any proofs of move. There is record of a phone call from him to our billing company in which he stated that he moved and provided them with a zip code that was only 23.3 miles from our facility or an affiliated facility. Our contracts clearly state that a member must move more than 25 miles from our club or an affiliated club. Thank you

in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Attached is a copy of my purchase, tracking number and address for the certified mail.  The second attachment is the confirmed delivery of my letter to Ideal Fitness.  The last is my letter cancelling my account.  This is all information that Steve, the General Manager of Ideal Fitness, could have requested from me when I called instead of blowing me off.  The fact is that they did receive the paperwork as my attachments show.  I ask that Ideal Fitness does the right thing so we can both move on.  I currently have many employees with memberships at the gym and I have been professional on my end not to speak of this matter with them.  I ask that Ideal Fitness be professional now and finally address their side of the matter.

That is what would happen if I walked in and tried to cancel it. I was lied to. I signed it because she had not filled it out yet and told me the deal was only good for that day and I wasn't allowed to bring the contract home for my husband to look over with me. I am not the only person who has made a complaint with the Revdex.com about this. They clearly have habit and history of lying to their consumers. I refuse to pay $100.00 for being lied to and utterly misled and insulted.

talking to our billing company, [redacted]. From the notes that have been
made in our system by [redacted] it appears...

that when Tim, the club
manager, told [redacted] that his October payment had already been
processed he was wrong. The October 31 payment did not clear and was
posted to his account as unpaid due to the credit card on file not
working.  At that time [redacted]
added a $13.83 late charge and a $15 returned item charge totaling
$43.83. The payment of $305.52 was processed on 12/1/15. After he called
[redacted] again to dispute the $43.83 in fees [redacted] waived
the fees. He has a zero balance at this time.  His sessions are also
available to use at his discretion.
We will not be issuing a refund at this time.  [redacted] stated that he wants to cancel his personal training membership  with Ideal Fitness. I will
cancel his PT but leave his account active, no billing, for 30 days to give him
time to use his remaining sessions.

I have attached a copy of [redacted] contract that she states she signed. She the terms are clearly stated on the contract. It also states no verbal terms are enforceable. At this time there is no option for her to cancel at will. We are willing to offer her an option to pay a $100 cancellation...

fee in order to cancel her agreement immediately. She would need to contact my office, ###-###-####, to make payment arrangements no later that 6/29/2016. Thank you.

[redacted]'s membership has already been set to expire on 7/7/16 and not auto renew. Her membership is paid in full after we applied the $108.55 payment. She owes nothing. Thank you

Tricksters, shysters, and extortionists. Don't believe what they say and carefully review your contract - told our son he could cancel the contract when he went to college but contract says otherwise. He signed and we're stuck with hundreds of dollars of payments over a few years and he can't even use the facility (nor does he need to as Ohio State has an outstanding facility). Yes we could suspend it and he could use it years from now when he graduates but we have to keep paying either way.

I quit Ideal Fitness on June 15, 2016, and was charged three more times! As per my contract, I submitted two forms of proof that I moved outside the 25 mile limit (32 miles) to the associated corporate fax number on my contract. Ideal Fitness corp. excuse is that they changed their fax number in February.

After reviewing [redacted] complaint with management I can tell you that we received information that her personal training contract was cancel in July 2016, per her request. Her regular membership should have been canceled at the same time, per her request, but apparently was not. I will take...

care of this immediately. We agreed to cancel her memberships as an act of good will and due to her unhappiness with our gym. She is not due any sort of refund for her personal training. We have always had personal trainers available for her usage.  We have thousands of happy member and have not received a complaint like hers before.

By Jessica signing her contract on 7/2/13 it states right above her signature that she was agreeing to all the terms and conditions contained on the contract. The contract states that it is a 36 month contract. We have no documentation that she came in to cancel the membership. The only payment our...

billing company was able to draw for the banking information she provided with the contract was her August 2.2013 payment of $16.66. After that payment they tried to contact her by mail and phone regarding her billing status. She did make a payment with them on 10/2/13 for $16.66 and then one on 12/2/13 for $16.70, but she is still not current on her dues. Our billing company also explained to her that we had nothing showing that she tried to cancel and what she would need to provide for the military cancel, but we have not received anything yet. Although, as a courtesy, we have cancelled her remaining contract and removed any balance she was still owing.

Ideal Fitness has offered [redacted] a new trainer and our personal training manager has tried to contact her via phone but she hasn't returned his call. We are willing to offer a partial refund of $420 to her.

The lease he provided our billing company on 8/5/13 was not signed by the owner and it did not have a full address on the lease agreement. Our billing company informed him that we would need this...

completed, as well as a second proof of move per the terms on the agreement (#19 pg 2 on the contract). Even though he does not qualify for a relocation cancellation as a courtesy we have cancelled the remaining term of his membership.

Review: I signed up for a trial membership at this gym and was charged $95. I was told that if I cancelled within 3 days that I would be refunded. I cancelled within 3 days and was refunded my $95. Weeks later, I was charged $95 on my debit card with no explanation or contact from the gym. When I called, I was first told that I had never cancelled my membership, and then finally I was told that the billing was a mistake and would be refunded. However, I have called the gym back repeatedly and the manager is always "busy" and I have not been able to secure a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like my $95 refunded.
