Ideal Fitness

Ideal fitness is a gym that I signed up for and was a member for over 2 years. When I called to cancel my membership, they would not cancel my member ship over the phone and said I would have to do it in person so I had to drive to the gym during work hours in order to fill out a form form in person to cancel.

Lucky for me, they gave me a copy of the signed cancellation agreement which shows that the last day they were supposed to charge me for my monthly membership was on August of 2015. I thought after receiving the cancellation agreement that was the end of my business relationship with the organization However, in September they charged me once again and when I contacted them (the gym manager Ray) about it they said they had no record of my coming in to sign my cancellation agreement. Like I had mentioned before, luckily they gave me a copy of the cancellation agreement, which I graciously forwarded to them and asked that I receive a refund for the mis-charge for the month of September and they said that it would take 5 business days. After the 5 business days I contacted them again and Ray was always either conveniently "Unavailable" or "On the other line". I continued to be vigilant in trying to resolve this issue in a civilized manner however, they continued to dodge my calls or not respond to my emails. I even got Ray on the phone a couple of times and he would tell me that he would call me back in maximum 15 to 20 minutes and would never call me back. This happened on more than one occasion.

I hope that this review will at least save someone else the headache that I have been going through.
