I've been ordering from iHerb for about a year now.

So far, I haven't had a problem with them. I have ordered Doctor's Choice Iron, Innovix Labs Mood Probiotic, and Wobenzym. The integrity of the products has been fine, their pricing is competitive, and their shipping times have been good. I can't speak of their customer service, because I haven't needed to talk to them so far.

And, the Honey app applies to their website, so it scans the web for viable coupons to apply.

But, I can say if I experienced the same problems as others have complained about on here and other websites, I would drop them like a hot potato and would file reports with the Revdex.com and my state AG's office. Hopefully, they will learn from all the bad reviews on here and will improve their operations. . .

I use this site a lot for supplements. I have never had any issues with shipping/products etc.

However today I reviewed the products I had ordered. 4 good, 2 not so good.

The two bad reviews were blocked.

I contacted them and they told me it was a mistake and reinstated them.

It looks like they are controlling the reviews that people see. They allow all good ones but block the bad ones.

It's very misleading for customers.

I just tested it again with another bad review and the same thing happened.

Just something to be aware of.

Reviews are only blocked if they violate the User Generated Content Guidelines, the majority of the time for things not related to the product themselves. Commonly, reviews are blocked due to damage complaints and medical advice. Due to regulations, we are not allowed to have any content from users which may be interpreted as medical device. Please keep the reviews of any products to organoleptic details, did you like or dislike, and would you recommend. 7/18/20 Garden of Life vitamins ordered from iHerb via Walmart's website. They never arrived. iherb took my money (73.38), but no product as of now.
On 7/18/20 I ordered Garden of Life vitamins via Walmart (***), paying $73.38.

I received a notice the product has been delivered to my POB (***), but it had not arrived. UPS said the package could not be delivered to a POB. The message said to contact Walmart.

I inquired of Walmart where was my refund or product? Walmart said iHerb would contact me in 24 hours. iHerb never contacted me. I reached out again to Walmart because they placed the order for me. I was again told iHerb would contact me in 48 hours. That email was sent on August 7, 2020.

I tried to reach out to iHerb on August 7th, but they said they couldn't help me without an order number assigned by them.

Desired Outcome

My inquiries to Walmart online, have been met with, "We have contacted iHerb. They will contact you..." UPS said contact Walmart. I want my $73.38 dollars back.

Thank you. The only reason I filed the complaint is because Walmart kept saying your company would get back with me in 24 to 48 hours.

IHerb not refunding me and neglecting my problem and holding my finds with PayPal, no human contact and 24/7 chat not caring
I made a purchase about 4 days ago and canceled in a few seconds, I received no email about the cancellation yet I got charged immediately using my PayPal funds, (not a Bank or card transaction directly PayPal money).
Tried to email, chat, even called and no thug worked beside automatically and robotic replies not caring about my issue, several agents ending the chat trying to push it to a PayPa problem.
I spoke to a PayPal supervisor who actually even tried to email iHerb with me, what iHerb need to do beside just canceling my transaction is iHerb login only the IHerb PayPal account and cancel/void my payment, because they did got paid my money is sitting with iHerb PayPal account as a "pending transaction", instead iHerb just wants it to be solve by itself which it can take up to a moth or months if the merchant actually don't simply just cancel on their end.
I explained to the careless agents many times but they just wanted to end the website pushing me away with short replies and not truly reading my messages.
I did nothing wrong besides just asking for my money back.
I even sent copies explaining what iHerb needed to do to refund me, ask them to talk with office that takes care of the collection of taking money out or IHerb PayPal account and moving to iHerb a bank, I begged them for a cancellation on their PayPal end and not just on their website but it seems like it goes right off their minds and every agents, Instagram, Twitter I tried to get a hold on.
I never received a cancellation email or a refund email, nothing, but I definitely got charged and got my payment and find stuck with a merchant that don't care at all about anything or any customer.
Be careful when you buy things with iHerb. If you need a refund or have a problem no one will listen to you, you have to do the job yourself and figure out what they need to do and you still won't get your money back.

Immediately refund on the amount on 2*** the exact amount it was taken out of my PayPal.

I got refunded but only after begging IHerb and telling/ teaching/ educating then on how to cancel a PayPal payment in order to get the refund immediately, their response was to actually wait 30 days (that's when you YOURSELF need to file a claim with PayPal to void the pending transaction). Worst experience ever.
No thanks.

An absolutely horrible company. Placed an order. 22 days later when I received nothing, I tried to call them but no phone number. I started a chat. Nafisa A. was on the chat line and she was less then helpful. She was unable to tell me what happened and she said the order was cancelled and they will send me a refund. They had no records or anything of my order. Won't give me details and when I pressed the issue the person just left the chat.
No word from them anymore. I'm going to call my CC company and dispute the charges and I know I will get the money back, but this is still ridiculous.

I suggest not to buying from them. It will not be a smooth and easy transmission. better companies are out there.

They had an old formula for a supplement they sold. After receiving package I informed them. It took over an hour and several customer agents before they attempted to resolve. Horrible customer service. Still resolved.

My order with IHerb is not delivered since almost 3 month while they state in their website that it was delivered, I want a refund

Order placed with IHerb on 8th April, 2020 for supplements to be shipped to Egypt. Order no. XXXXXXXXX. Order stated on their website that it was delivered on 15th April, 2020, but that is not true, the shipping company told us that we better clear the shipment by ourselves from the customs but that was not true,the customs said that the shipping company's broker must do that. We tried to solve it with IHerb and the freight forwarder but with no solution from their side. I asked for a refund but they keep telling me that they'll resolve the problem which they do not do.
I only need a refund and they can ship the material back to their suppliers.

P.S. The invoice that the shipper handed over to us attached, he claimed that we can clear the goods from the customs by ourselves, but the customs clerk said that is not correct.

Sent a damaged item. submitted a request for replacement. They automatically charged me for the replacement. Could not get a human person to assist.
They sent me a damaged item. So I submitted a reship request for a replacement. Then they automatically charged me for the replacement! Now I have been on chat (because you can't call anyone there) for over 35 minutes and after diandra, *** and *** picked up I still can't tell if I'm dealing with a human or a robot. It's like I would stay on hold on the chat and would go through this endless loop of Generic questions and multiple agents (or an automated computer system posing as a real agent) picking up then putting me on hold and getting no where. It was such an insane experience from start to finish. Non existent customer service. Sending damaged items. Slow shipping. Pretty much everything is wrong with iherb from this vantage point. First and last time I will order from them. Can you help? They sent a damaged item then charged me again to replace it. They have no live person available to help on customer service. I'm ready to call my credit card company. I have just seen their online reviews and they are really poor. Thank you for your time.

It wasn't just the transaction issue that was problematic. In fact, that was actually a small issue compared to the 35 minutes I spent on a chat with what ended up being a robot. I was subjected to this endless and senseless loop that went nowhere. I would like the issue about your lack of accessibility and zero available human customer service addressed. You cannot run a business like the one you have without effective and on at least one level, human customer service. Please advise.

Order not sent in 45 days(and counting). To clarify, it's not about me not receiving the product, but about it not being sent by the company.
Bought some products from IHerb on May 3th. Today is June 18th, so it's been 45 days and so far the order hadn't even been sent! Again, I'm NOT complaining that it hadn't been DELIVERED. What I DO complain is the fact that they didn't SEND the package.
I get that we have a worldwide crisis with COVID and, because of that, I think that some delay is to be expcted. But 45 days is way beyond the acceptable.

Dear Iherb,
I know it was still within the time frame, but if you spent just a little of time reading my complaint, you'd see the complaint wasn't just about the delivery. But also about it not being sent in such a long time. I've attached a screenshot from USPS showing the items were never sent, but were only with the "Pre-shipment" status. P R E shipment.

Also, I did contact the carrier directly before coming here. Unfortunately just got the same *** I got here.

And just to confirm what I'm complaining about, today I just got an e-mail stating I would get a refund. It said there were "Order issues"(also attached a screenshot).

It's disrespectful and outrageous how the company doesn't give a to clarify things for the costumer. I know sometimes problems DO happen. But the least the company should do is explain what happened, and apologize.

The way it is, what I assume is you just LIED straight to me, telling you sent the product when in fact you never did. And just stalled all you could to keep my money meanwhile we have a global crisis.And when the time frame ended you finally show up stating there were order issues and I would be refunded.

This is not a valid response, whatsoever. To, 'discuss in great length', what we already know which triggered my complaint to the Revdex.com as no refunds were being applied, whatsoever. The company's response if and when I received one as the owner(s) of the company never responded to me only speaking with subordinate's and people who were responding to my requests in the company's 'chat' room where they were providing me no information, whatsoever. As I have stated to the company many, many times there was no refund issued to me and when addressing it with the company's representatives repeatedly was told they do not know any of my credit card information the refund(s) were processed to only that it may have been done despite giving them on multiple occasions the last four of my credit card(s) used to make the purchases as there should have been three refunds processed with one item having been cancelled but no refund issued and for the company to respond to the Revdex.com only that I should have a conversation in 'great length' with my financial institution is, nonsensical. I have been a very loyal customer to this company for many years with no
problem whatsoever either with my products ordered or any other financial matter and find it apalling quite frankly the first concern I have addressed with the company regarding their products they failed to address it in any way refusing either to provide me with a refund(s) or handle the matter appropriately. It is required by law that all ecommerce merchants disclose detailed return policies. The policy should be easy to understand and to find on the website. This is not the case with iHerb. iHerb violates this law as the only statement listed on the website regarding returns simply states they guarantee 100% complete satisfaction on all orders. They make no mention that all products ordered cannot be returned unless they are sent back (paid by consumer) and unopened. This is a full bait and switch operation and not acceptable. The company masks their return policy by being vague and not letting one talk with an actual person. I respectfully request this company be made to update their website and issue a refund to me ASAP. Additionally, I believe they should be referred to additional disciplinary action.

The information iHerb has provided is not accurate! I originally tried to return these products, via the 24/7 email help desk and got an automated denial response from the team. No return label was offered, nor provided via email. iHerb is clearly in violation of their own return policy. The help desk 1) denied my claim, and 2) closed out the request! It is my feeling iHerb changed its website recently to reflect the new return policy as I was not able to find any such reference prior to opening my complaint. I find it extremely suspicious that this policy was just added to the website; I believe the company is trying to cover themselves should a class action lawsuit arise from their shady return dealings. I request metadata be provided for the website tracking all changes. Finally, the fact that iHerb is changing its tune mid-complaint further illustrates my point that the company is acting shady and should be held responsible. Why didn't they offer to provide a return label when I first launched my Revdex.com complaint? I want a refund ASAP! I also want the Revdex.com to investigate iHerbs actions and its other complains where other customers have been denied refunds, as the company made no mention that a return label be provided, but did note the product(s) should be returned in perfect condition.

I received a package with two boxes of Atkins Nut Fudge Brownie Bars from IHerb.

There was no documentation inside the package. I didn't place any order with IHERB. And was not even aware they existed as a company until now. If this is a promotional mailing it is unsolicited, undocumented and unwanted.

There customer service phone number is no longer supported and they funnel service issues to a chat line and E-Mail

I placed an order with iHerb on March 31st 2020, order number XXXXXXXX. I cancelled the order because items were out of stock before reshipment.
Order number XXXXXXXX was cancelled on April 6th, 2020 after iHerb shipped it to the wrong address and the items became out of stock. I chatted with customer service several times who said:
1st time- refund will take 7-10 days depending on the bank
2nd time- on the 11th day they said it would take another 7-30 days depending on the bank
3rd time- on the 32nd day since cancellation (May 8th) iHerb said it would take another 3-5 days to receive the refund of *** Original order amount was *** but they only refunded *** only. No products were ever shipped, delivered or received.

Even though I unsubscribed to their emails at least 7 times and then online chatted with customer service (who told me they successfully removed my name), I am still receiving unwanted emails. This is a form of harassment. Would like to send a letter to the owner/ceo. However, they have several addresses listed and their customer service told me (via email) that they cannot give out that kind of information (email address or snail mail address). This is not a transparent company. Thankfully, I never purchased anything, but I want to be removed from their email list!

Absolute scam! Do not buy from them. Without phone customer service they can get away with taking your money and not sending order! On the chat they say sorry and we'll look into it but do nothing. Will warn friends and never order from them again. They should be shut down!

Since the order was split into two parts, may you please inform us which item(s) you have not received? We know there are delays due to the global pandemic that the world is struggling with, with thousands of people dying and sick, so we asked for your patience while we attempted to find the status of your order. We are in no way a 'scam' and millions of customers around the world shop with us on a daily basis because they trust our services and our products.

Very shocked and disappointed that you are using laser ship service to ship my items and deliver them. Now I know I will not get my package and items.
4/2/2020 Order Date Problem noticed 4/3/2020 on order *** Very shocked and disappointed that iHerb is using laser ship service to ship my items and deliver them. Now I know I will not get my package and items because they have never delivered my items to me every time I have had a company use them. I have several Revdex.com reports about Laser Ship not delivering Items and disputes with them because of not delivering items. Shipment of items from iHerb should have been told during check out of who would have been delivering items. Other wise I would have never ordered.

Desired Outcome

Refund.

However, we would love to look into this matter further to ensure you are taken care of. Also, it seems like your complaint and anger is aimed at Lasership and not us. If so, we advise filing another claim against them.

In order for us to assist you further, please provide us the order number and delivery address for the order. Once we have received that information we can look further. Please be advised, no action will be taken on our part until we have communicated with Lasership regarding your order and the estimated delivery date has been surpassed. Also, please be advised some delays may occur, as we advise on our website, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Also, please by advised that the chosen shipping method will always result in Lasership delivering orders to our customers located on the East Coast of the United States. Accordingly, we advise selecting a different shipping method for future orders if you do not wish Lasership to deliver the packages.

Please do not use Laser Ship for anyone they are a bad company, I finally got my order today thank goodness. Be advise please do no use them as a shipper or delivery of your items.

While we thank you for the feedback, you need to file a complaint against lasership, not us as your root problem is with them. please avoid choosing the same shipping method as, advised earlier, it will always result in the use of Lasership for delivery.

Maybe just change that option for customers, again I already have enough Revdex.com complaints with Laser ship nothing ever gets fixed with them.
