We have contacted the borrower to discuss the removal of the inquiry from his reportWe did receive his authorization for the inquiry along with his application for a loanWe have sent the borrower a request form to complete regarding the removal processCurrently, we are waiting to get this back form him

We have spoken with Mr [redacted] and both of his refund checks have been processedThe GAP refund was issued and deliveredThe warranty refund check was pending and has now been cut and tracking number has been provided for delivery to Mr***Please let us know should you need any further information Thanks!

I am rejecting this response because:This does not answer my original complaint that iLendingDIRECT, powered by Fleet Financial misrepresented themselves as a government agencyOn the letter sent to me it does not state iLendingDIRECT, powered by Fleet Financial Motor Vehicle Division it only in the first window of the envelope states MOTOR VEHICLE DIVISION Vehicle Document / Final Notice Personal & Confidential and in the next window is my name and addressThere are no other markings on the envelope to even suggest that it comes from iLendingDIRECT, powered by Fleet Financial and the only time is after you open the envelope and start to read the letter that it ever states who it is actually fromThis is very poor business practice and iLendingDIRECT, powered by Fleet Financial should be straight forward with the intended recipient of the letter from the start not to make them think it is a important correspondence from a government agency IE: MVD and possible issues with their vehicleTheir practice only gets the consumer to open their junk mail and should be stopped!!!!!! Oh and when I did ask to speak with a manager of the company they stated that they would not transfer me and to just opt out from future mailings from themThis does not stop their poor business practice of representation. iLendingDIRECT, powered by Fleet Financial needs to stop this practice or put iLendingDIRECT, powered by Fleet Financial on the top before the other MOTOR VEHICLE DIVISION Vehicle Document / Final Notice Personal & Confidential so the consumer knows who it is actually from

I am in receipt of the paperwork, as requestedThe carrier selected by the business left the parcel on the ground, in the rain, and it went unnoticed for a few daysWhile I consider the matter closed, dealing with this company and the lengths I had to go to in order to get the requested paperwork back was about as pleasant as eating a light bulbUnprofessional, uncommunicative and sloppy

We had received the customer information via ***On the *** webpage, it specifically states that the customer's credit will have hard pulls by lending partners in order to establish a firm offer of creditIn this case, since customer did not read the disclosure and was unaware that
this would occur, I have sent a form to be completed by customer to have the inquiry removed by usIn regards to other lenders or companies, I cannot help with that as we have no affiliation with any of them

*** *** did not purchase or lease a vehicle from iFleetDIRECT, nor did she trade in a vehicle at iFleetDIRECTMs*** contacted iFleetDIRECT regarding purchasing a new vehicle; she also wanted to sell a ***. iFleetDIRECT referred Ms*** to a local *** dealership; however,
iFleetDIRECT agreed to buy the ***, with proceeds directed toward her down payment on her lease through the *** dealership. Ms*** leased a vehicle, and obtained financing, at the *** dealership. The *** dealership completed the title work; iFleetDIRECT has no knowledge of the *** dealership’s titling process or any products that she may have purchased through them

We were contacted by Mr*** asking for a lower paymentWe were able to get him approved for a new refinanceThe rate given to him was based upon his credit scoreMr*** was offered a few different options on his loanSome with a
warranty, some withoutHe then selected to move forward with the loan that included both *** and warrantyHe chose the option for the longer term that way he could have a lower monthly payment
We then sent contracts for him to review and signHe had paper documents at his home for daysThese forms included all pages of the entire contractHe then agreed to the terms and signed all pages of the contract and returned them to usHis loan received a final approval and was funded exactly the way that it was written in the contract
Mr***' mother then reviewed the contract and was upset by the termsShe stated that we should not have allowed her son to agree to these termsShe wanted the loan cancelledUnfortunately, the new loan had funded and his old loan had already been paid offWe explained to her that the additional *** and warranty were optional itemsIf he chose to, Mr*** could cancel these at any point and get the refund credited to his loanWe have already provided him those forms to him if he would like to remove these items from his loan
