The loan payoff we had received from his old lender initially, was correct. We sent that amount when the loan was completed. It would appear that during the transaction, his loan had a credit. We overpaid the the payoff amount and his account...
now had an overage. It has been sent out to his new lender as a principal payment per his contract.

The payoff to the original lender resulted in ~$4 overpayment. For which I was reimbursed by them.
The loan with the new lender, has never received a credit from anybody but myself.
Please provide evidence/a reference number for this transaction so the matter can be followed up with the new lender and hopefully resolved.

While processing a refinance, you are always responsible to continue making your payments until the payoff is received. We do not advise someone to not pay their bills.

At this time, the only inquiries that I show that we have ever made are from Sept. 2015 when you contacted us about refinancing your [redacted]...
