December 7, 2016     Revdex.com of Central Indiana Attn: [redacted] 151 N Delaware Street #2020 Indianapolis, IN 46204-2599     RE: ID Number [redacted]     Dear Ms. [redacted],   This letter serves as our response to the complaint filed by [redacted].   IMC...

Credit Services has reviewed the file in reference to this matter. Our documentation indicate the account was handled appropriately.   Our initial validation letter that included details of the account was mailed to Mr. [redacted]’s address on June 27, 2016.  We show we had no returned mail from the United States Postal Service.   Our first telephone conversation with Mr. [redacted] was on December 1, 2016 when he contacted our office.  Although we had previously attempted phone contact, we were unable to speak with Mr. [redacted] prior to December 1, 2016.   We have confirmed with our client the balance is zero.  We will request all three bureaus to update Mr. [redacted]’s credit files to show a zero balance.    Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (317) 829-0076.   Sincerely,   Stacy P[redacted] Administrative Collection Manager

Who waits 5 years to send info over about a collection. This company has never called or mailed me anything until I disputed this account and I've yet to receive proof this is my debt. So how can this still be on my report when its been well past the 30 days of  the dispute and still nothing. I called the original collectors they dont even have the info for this so call debt. They said they dont even use the same biling system. This should be removed from my credit report and dont start calling me now five years later.
Regards,
[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have proof via my tri-merged credit reports that IMC reported BOTH these debts to them on multiple occasions. According to FRCA law, the company had 30-45 days from the date they received my certified mail which would have been September 30, 2015 at the latest. Sending me ANYTHING in December violates my rights under the law.I want the collections immediately REMOVED from all three credit bureaus today. And I'd like proof that has been completed via a letter from IMC.Because they have not held up their responsibility under the federal law, I'd like all communications in writing and will not be calling them to discuss anything over the phone.

the terms of the consumers settlement.  We do not respond via email and we do not have a letter to issue the consumer that meets her request.    IMC will always give the consumer the benefit of the doubt when it comes to address dependencies and validation notifications.  We will not delete an accurately reported account for payment in full but we will delete an account that if validation notice went to a bad address if the account is paid in full. Our office did agree to the settlement terms and attempted to contact the consumer to discuss her proposal.  If the accounts are paid per the settlement agreement our office will mail the consumer a letter confirming deletion from all three credit reporting agencies. The consumer may call our collection manager, Stacy [redacted], to discuss any questions or concerns they still have regarding this matter at (317) 849-6933.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. There were no phone calls received by me on either the 30th or 31st.  No messages were left either.  I expect a phone call this week.  I have paid them 2 intallments of 171 - and have another slated for the 24th of this month - but I do beleivce that is over-payment.  I need to know how much they have received/a breakdown of all of their charges also.  That can be done via mail.  But I do expect a phone message at the least.Regards,[redacted]

This account has never reported to Mr. [redacted]’s credit. The consumer still has a pending balance in our office but he does not have any accounts being reported to the credit reporting agencies.  Unfortunately, he will have to wait until we receive information from our client before we are able to provide additional information on the remaining balance. Our office apologizes for the frustration Mr. [redacted] has experienced.  Our office will resolve this matter as soon as possible.  Sincerely, Jennifer P[redacted]
