The visit in March she spoke of was an oil change tire rotation that she wanted us to peek at the brakes while the wheels were off.? We did and sold rear brakes due to being worn not for a vibration of any kind.? The vibration issue was never brought up.? She then returned and said there was a vibration when braking and we attempted to sell front brakes because now there was a diagnosis and complaint before it was just look at them while the wheels are off.? We took care of the front brakes from a customer service standpoint.? Then she came back complaining of a squeak while braking and we found after a long diagnosis process and even replacing caliper slides under Chrysler warranty that the over sized wheels on the car could possibly be causing the rotors to get to hot causing noise.? We presented that to [redacted] and at that time in the service drive she took that opportunity to curse and yell at me and tell me how crazy I was.? We offered for her to put factory wheels back on and we would drive with her and she refused and continued to be verbally abrasive.? She left and went to another dealer that put factory wheels and tires on the car according to your email and the noise was gone.? What we suspected would happen.? This is the first we have heard of any wheels being bent.? We do not feel we are responsible for her wheels in any way.? After installing new front and rear brakes the complaint was always a noise and now it seems to be a vibration that was never brought up to us.? At this point we feel we have gone above and beyond for this customer just to be verbally abused.? We do not accept any responsibility for her wheels.? Please feel free to contact me if you deem necessary.? Attached is a copy of the repair order from March[redacted]

This is [redacted] service manager at Jake Sweeney Chrysler and the info [redacted] is very accurateI didn't feel I was using a tone that was condescending but if that is how it came across I am very sorry that was not my intention? She has had some issues with the car and the trans replacement is the repair Chrysler has recommended and approved at this pointThe car is operating as designed at this time? We can and will continue to work with [redacted] to get her desired resolution but ultimately that is Chryslers decision not oursAgain I would like to apologize to [redacted] if she felt I was not concerned about her situation because I am concerned and want to help? We have folly Chryslers guidelines and in fact they have already contacted me and I gave them the info they asked forPlease feel free to contact me for any further info.? ***

[redacted] This is Aaron Garrett from Jake Sweeney Chrysler and when the Durango came in to have remote start installed we indeed broke a trim panel while doing installation. At that point she wanted the labor taken off the bill for us breaking a panel We overnighted the part and provided the customer with a loaner car. Upon completion the next day we delivered the car to her work to minimize her trips to the dealership. We will definitely program her second key I don't know why it did not program. I can go pick up the car and program it and deliver back to customer to minimize any trips they would need to make. I would be willing to split the cost of installation of remote start at this time. Let me know if you need any other info ***

Customer indicated? the information hasn't been removed from his [redacted] report? Early-mid August, he emailed Jake Sweeney permission to contact [redacted] for removal? He checked his credit report earlier this month and it's still on there?

I have spoken to Mrs [redacted] ? and we are in the process of getting this removed from her credit and have supplied her with the letter that we have sent to the credit and she said it has been resolved

I will pull the part from parts and hold it in my office until the customer gets here.? I can expedite his truck through the shop in a timely manner to get his vehicle back to the customer.? I can meet the reimbursement request that the customer has made.? At this point should I contact the customer or will you?? [redacted]

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] The reviews have been posted in pure honesty as they have happened.Jake Sweeney gave their word they would pay for their negligence to a $100,000+ supercarThese cars are showpieces and should be very well cared for. They service manager Chris E*** admitted damage and said he would pay for a detailPlease call *** *** *** and speak with Paul at *** as he spoke with Chris as well.Jake Sweeney is now being vindictive despite me following all their rulesThe only dispute they had originally was the price they felt was unfair. Now they are not covering anything, that is very unacceptable to treat a customer that way especially your higher end customersI can only imagine how they treat others. My demand is that they pay the full $directly to *** *** *** so they can release my car

The customer's concern was handled directly with the Service Manager The vehicle is in less than safe condition with excessive water inside as if it was flooded The customer was offered the benefit of the doubt to investigate but was strongly encouraged to REPLACE the year old engine or
replace the vehicle due to the excessive cost to try to repair an engine that would not last Either option was to be assisted by the Service Manager but neither option was offered at no charge The customer clearly expressed that he would rather pursue legal action than be held responsible for anything on the vehicle and declined any attempt to diagnose the car The Service Manager offered to disassemble the engine and investigate with the understanding that if it were not an oversight or mis-diagnosis then the customer would be liable for the labor time to investigate No further action was approved

THE CUSTOMER WAS CONTACTED IMMEDIATELY BY THE SERVICE MANAGER AND GENERAL MANAGER IMMEDIATELY. THE CUSTOMER WAS OFFERED TO HAVE ALL OF THE SERVICES MENTIONED AND NOT ONLY APPROVED REPAIRS BUT ALSO APPLIED FOR CREDIT CARD APPLICATION AND ULTIMATELY PAID THE BILL WITH THE CREDIT
CARD. WHEN SERVICES ARE SUGGESTED AND CREDIT CARD APPLICATIONS ARE COMPLETED BY THE VEHICLE OWNER AND THEN PAID FOR WITH THAT CREDIT CARD THERE ARE MULTIPLE FORMS OF APPROVAL IN THESE CIRCUMSTANCES. NO REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED PRIOR TO THE CUSTOMER BEING INFORMED AND OBTAINING PROPER AUTHORIZATION. AFTER THE SERVICE WAS COMPLETE THE CUSTOMER CALLED BACK A FEW DAYS LATER AND DISPUTED A CHARGE FOR THE THROTTLE BODY / INTAKE FUEL INJECTION SERVICE. SINCE THE DEALER DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO OTHER SERVICE FACILITIES HISTORY ARCHIVING WE CAN ONLY ASK AND DETERMINE WHAT HAS OR HAS NOT BEEN DONE BY OTHER STORES. DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE WOULD LIKE TO HELP THE CUSTOMER IN GOOD FAITH AND REIMBURSE THE FUEL INJECTION SERVICEWE FEEL AS IF THIS IS MORE THAN IS OWED AND IS A MORE THAN FAIR COMPROMISE. AGAIN, NOTHING WAS PERFORMED PRIOR TO AUTHORIZATION AND JAKE SWEENEY CHRYSLER IS WILLING TO REIMBURSE FUNDS IN AN ATTEMPT TO HELP A CUSTOMER AND RETAIN THEIR BUSINESS.

THE OFFER EXTENDED IN THE PREVIOUS COMMENTS IS THE EXTEND OF WHICH THE DEALERSHIP IS WILLING TO PARTICIPATE. WE ARE WILLING TO REFUND THE SERVICE THAT WAS ULTIMATELY FOUND TO HAVE BEEN DONE AFTER THE FACT

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. To whom It May Concern:I reject the response of Jake Sweeney Automotive because I stand by the fact that beside the oil change and the headlight no other work was authorized to be done. The discussion of having any other work authorized was contingent on approval for the dealership's credit card, which I was (to MrM*** knowledge) denied. When I returned to the repair shop more than the headlight, which totaled $and the oil change $had been done. They have agreed to return $to my credit card because the fuel injection service had been done prior at about 107,miles and my car has just over 113,miles and that service is to be done about every 20,miles( to the best of my knowledge) it was a service that did not need to be done.If you have any further questions please feel free to call or email me.Thank you for your time.Respectfully, *** ** ***
