I called them because my AC drain pan was leakingThe tech came and opened the cabinet and used my shop vac to vacuum it out and then proceeded to lose the closure plugHe then taped over the hole and said that if it leaked any more to call and he'd come backHe charged me $Something didn't seem right so I used a credit card to pay, which I normally don't do It began leaking within an hour I called back and immediately got the run around They couldn't decide if the office manager was there or not but then settled on that she's scheduled from 3pm and that they couldn't understand why the tech wasn't responding by radio Long story shortExactly callsAlways that someone would call backBut no calls Then they said another tech would comeIts now three days later and no one has called or come I've already disputed the charge with my credit card company
Absolutely the worst service I've seen in years

Cummings took $4,as a deposit for a new HVAC unitWe were told by the tech that if we changed our mind we could get a refundWe notified them the next business day that we changed our mindWe were told our money would be refunded to the card within hoursFive days later, when we hadn't received the money, we calledWe got the run aroundWe were told the only person that could take care of the problem went home sickWe called back and asked for that person' supervisorFive calls later, we were told that the CFO was refusing to sign our refund checkWe weren't told whyThe accounts receivable clerk,*** was extremely rude and told me that her last name was "none of your business." These people are crooksI am having to challenge the charge and I will file suit against them on Tuesday

I would like to complain about the structure of Cummings Plumbing's parts fees
I was charged:
$PER 3/4" slip fitting (copper) (X2) = 1523% MARKUP vs LOWES
$for a 3/4" degree slip fitting (copper) = 661% MARKUP vs LOWES
$for a 3/4" slip on ball valve (brass) = 120% MARKUP vs LOWES
$for a 3/4" gas sediment trap (one iron tee & one 4" piece of pipe) = 345% MARKUP vs LOWES
$for about feet of 3/4" "Type L" copper pipe = 275% MARKUP vs LOWES
$for a 3/4" union (copper) = 487% MARKUP vs LOWES
Now, I know that there is going to be some markup on partsbut the one that angers me the most is a 1523% markup for one degree fitting! And you know they buy in bulk so the actual markups must be astronomical
Companies please keep your markups at the 250% range, which would be outrageous but fair
I would urge everybody to consider this absurd parts markup scheme that Cummings Plumbing uses BEFORE they hire them for any job!
I will not be a customer of theirs again

When we apply the original application of *** it’s the most important of the applications, reason being it’s a paint protection product and the additional application are to renew and protect the first applicationOnce
the product is applied there are no refunds if the vehicle is still in-service we can have it transferred to new owner’s where they will enjoy the warranty and protection but we cannot do refunds

I am furiousI called Cummings Plumbing for a simple estimate to replace a fifteen year old water softenerInstead, they came out and gave me an sales pitch estimate for a ScaleBlaster SB-This is an electronic unit that is supposed to give you soft water with no salt or ion exchangeHow? By wrapping a couple of couple of wires around your water pipe and pulsing the water with frequencies that will make the calcium and magnesium explode into very fine particlesNot only that, but this unit will magically make these particles seek out the calcium and magnesium in your pipes and descale your entire plumbing systemHoly Crap! That is amazing! These units are a total scam and have no science to back up their outrageous claimsAs an electronics and Radio Frequency engineer (MSEE), I immediately recognized this as total BS
One can buy one of these worthless pieces of junk for as low as $over the netThe advertising says that they are easy to install for DIY'ersSo, what was the estimate that they gave me? $1,(oh, they gave me a $discount for a total of $1,495.00.) You know, the very worst part about this was the estimate was prepared and given to me by the owners son, *** *** himselfHang your heads in shame, Cummings PlumbingYou will never get any further business from me

*** *** was in Saturday May 17th with problem with his seatThe service adviser explained they would look at it but if it was not under warranty there would be a $fee *** *** agreed and we called before we repaired the seat I don't know why it's a Revdex.com Complaint but I will
refund his *** if he feels we did something wrong

I called cummings plumbing for a estimate to replace the polly pipes in my house. [redacted] him self came to my house. He new exactly what he needed to do. The other plumbers wanted to run my pipes on the roof and all exposed. [redacted] said he didn't need to. When they were all done I couldn't tell they did a repipe. Cummings was the only one that I trusted to work on my house. If cummings needs my referral you know my info.

Cummings plumbing did a re-pipe job on my residence. They were over $1,000 more than other bids but were highly recommended so I used them. BIG mistake. I've been a General contractor, HVAC contractor for over 50 years. The workmanship was deplorable in some cases. Broke water pipes and refused to repair. Left trash in the return air platform which destroyed the blower wheel and burned up the motor. It was only about 6 feet away from the trash container. They said they would repair it but would charge me $99 per/hr plus cost of material. It took about four months to complete the one week job and only then with phone calls and letters demanding they comply. I filed a complaint with the contractors licence board and have a pending lawsuit for the damages.

We replaced the engine in the [redacted] and some of the issues on  [redacted] car is because of tire valve and ice on the roads. I have left word on her answering machine we will speak on Wednesday 19th and I'm sure we can work this out

Anything plumbing or ac work I need I will be calling Cummings Plumbing. [redacted] was the one who came to my house for a free estimate on a water softener. He was very polite and knowledgeable not to mention he gave me a great deal. The plumber who came to install to softener was friendly and quick on the job. I will be a returning happy customer.

We are trying to resolve this complaint , hopefully it will be done soon

Cummings recently re-piped my whole house. They did an excellent job, their techs were very professional and thorough, and the cost was considerably less than I expected.

Ripped off and overcharged. They were hired by a contractor who gave them specific info about the parts they would need for the job. When they showed up three people (this was clearly a one man job), they looked at the work, and said they had to go back to the office to get the parts. That resulted in an extra $250 charge. Very dishonest people.

I cannot apologize enough for the delay. My first and biggest problem is that my Management Team did not call you back...

on the 13th of October. My second problem is with North Carolina DMV. I have checked into the problem and found that we actually sent [redacted] a check with too much money ($15.60 To Much) and because of our over payment [redacted] would not issue the tags and complete the title work. We have since sent out a third set of 30 day tags so that the customer could drive the [redacted], they were sent on October 18, 2016 enclosed is a copy of the tag registration. The tracking number is [redacted] and it shows delivered on 10-19-2016.
We have had a true problem with out of state DMV Offices and issuing tags for our customers. When we have a customer purchase and title a vehicle out of state we us a company ([redacted]) to do the title work, because most DMV Offices across the country have different rules and processes, so we actually pay an outside company so our customers will not have to wait for tags. I believe between the vin number being transposed and the check being too much this cost the customer at least 5 days and for this I apologize again. I will try and contact the customer personally, and make some type of good will jester to compensate them for these problems.
