IT IS UNDER A YEAR they never sent me anything for free within 2 days a paid for hose went bad and they where contacted   I think it was May 11 2015 it came then THIS COMPANY DID SEND ME A DEFECTIVE 150FT XHOSE WITH WATER PIN HOLES ON 3/31/16 AS DOCUMENTS THAT WERE SENT  THEY REPLACED A DEFECTIVE HOSE WITH ANOTHER NEVER USES DEFECTIVE HOSE IT WAS REPORTED TO THEM WITH IN AN HOUR THEY GOT PAID FOR THE ORIGINAL HOSE BOUGHT AS A GIFT  $100.00 THEY WOULD NEVER SEND OUT ANYTHING FOR FREE THEY SEND ME A DEFECTIVE HOSE AND WITH IN AN HOUR THEY TOLD ME TO BAD I AM STUCK WITH THE DEFECTIVE HOSE    READ ALL THE REVIEWS ON THIS HOSE ON THEIR WEBSITE ALL NEG REVIEWS

Hi [redacted],
[redacted] placed an order on June 4th, 2014 for an ice maker. The order shipped on June 7th and per [redacted] tracking shows delivered to [redacted]USA, under tracking number [redacted]

class="display_only"> on June, 16th, 2014. [redacted] called us on August 11th, 2014 to advice the package was not delivered. We opened up a tracer on August 13th with **S. [redacted] findings were the item was delivered but they would contiue to investigate further.
The order was paid using Bill Me Later. Today I issued a return on the item which will generate a refund in 24 to 48 hours. I spoke with the customer and advised her of the information. The credit is for $231.90 which includes the item price of $199.95 and shipping charges of $31.95.
I will follow up with the customer at the end of the week to ensure resolution was reached with [redacted].

I had a very disappointing experience with Improvements Catalog. In June I ordered a poolside float stand. I received an email confirmation of this order that same day and then never heard anything else. I sent an email asking for shipping information and did not receive a response. I then sent an email to Sharon K[redacted], Director Human Resources, and as a result received an email from her and a call from the company. I was told that the order had been cancelled because they no longer carried the item. I was never informed of this. The person I spoke to said I would receive a gift certificate for the inconvenience within 7-10 days. I never received anything and even sent two follow-up emails to Ms. K[redacted]. I have NEVER heard anything from this company which I find shocking. This is certainly not the way to run a business. I will not recommend buying anything from Improvements!

I received a call this morning from the company at 738 am explaining that I have received credit. I checked with [redacted] and that is correct. I wish to close my complaint. I asked the company to remove any future advertisements in the future from my email. Extremely poor customer service. They emailed me on two different occasions that I was to receive credit didn't happened. In the last correspondence with the company they tried to tell me that couldn't check that item returned was returned on December 19th. 
yes, they refunded my claim, but under such standard should they get a good rating. I am not the only customer that this company had such bad dealings. Customer service doesn't exist with this company?[redacted]

The credit has posted according our payment processor. I also received an email from the customer that she received the refund.

They where paid for the original hose plus shipping THEY GOT PAID FOR THE FIRST HOSE OR THEY WOULD HAVE NEVER SENT IT  I NEVER GOT THE FIRST ONE THEN ON MAY 11 201`5 I GOT A HOSE USED IT 9 TIMES THEN THE WINTER CAME PUT INTO THE HOUSE UNTIL APRIL 2016 TOOK IT OUT IT WAS DEFECTIVE I DID CONTACT THEM THEY SHIPPED A HOSE OUT THAT I GOT 3/31/16  I DID SHIP ON THE SAME DAY THE DEFECTIVE HOSE FROM 5/11/15 BACK TO THEM BY UPS YOU CAN CHECK THE TRACKING WITH UPS  AFTER I SHIPPED THAT DEFECTIVE HOSE BACK TO THEM I WENT HOME AND OPEN THE NEW HOSE THAT I GOT THAT DAY 3/31/16 TO OPEN AND SEE THEN SENT ME A NEW HOSE THAT WAS ALSO DEFECTIVE LEAKING SO THE LAST HOSE THEY SENT ON 3/31/16 WAS DEFECTIVE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX  IF YOU GO TO THEIR WEBSITE TO THIS HOSE PRODUCT EVERY REVIEW IS NEGATIVE AND THAT HOSE IS DEFECTIVE 
THERE ARE MANY OTHER WEBSITES PUTTING NEG REVIEWS ON IMPROVEMENTS CATALOG IT IS THE PRINCIPAL THAT THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO SEND ME A REPLACEMENT AND FOR THE BRAND NEW HOSE THEY SENT ME TO BE DEFECTIVE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX  I ALREADY WENT TO [redacted] AND BOUGHT A COUPLE OF NEW HOSES    IT IS THE FACT THEY SENT ME A NEW REPLACEMENT THAT WAS SENT TO ME DEFECTIVE AND THEY REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING AFTER THEY SENT ME A DEFECTIVE NEW HOSE I  MYSELF AND PEOPLE I TELL WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY OR THEIR MANY CATALOG COMPANY'S  AT THIS STAGE I DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU DO  JUST MAKE SURE I AM UN HAPPY WITH IS COMPANY

about Mr. [redacted]’s concern.  Mr. [redacted] initially contacted
Improvements on April 28, 2015 requesting a replacement of a hose he received
as a gift from a friend.  He provided the friend’s name and zip...

code to
locate the original order, but we were unable to locate any order under the
friend’s name.  However, as a customer service accommodation, we provided
a replacement order for the 150 ft. Xhose Pro flex hose valued at $99.99 and
sent it to Mr. [redacted] at no charge.  Please also note that Mr.
[redacted] has told us that he has purchased several hoses from other
retailers, so the product he is complaining about could be from one of those
stores, especially as we cannot locate an order from him or his friend. 
Additionally, Mr. [redacted] noted in his most recent complaint that the “name
of the salesperson” was “[redacted] /[redacted]/[redacted].”  Given
this, we believe we do not have any obligations to Mr. [redacted].
