In Less Time Closings Reviews (44)

In late summer we were contacted by Joshua S[redacted] of [redacted] about getting out of our 3 timeshare properties. In Less Time Closings, LLC would be the company handling this process. Typically it would anywhere from 3 to 6 months to finalize the 3 closings. Working with both Ashley N[redacted] and Elsie C[redacted] at ILTC, LLC, they managed to close the process in less than 3 months, all the while communicating with us about the status of the closings. We could not be happier with the process and the outcome that In Less Time Closings, LLC provided.

Review: My husband and I went to purchase time share points through [redacted] and resulted in sending a check in the amount of $[redacted] to In less Time Closings. We waited four months to get a response from them and When we finally called to see what was happening they said they never received the money but it was cashed. Called [redacted] and they said that the company in which we bought from in Florida was suspended and we tried calling the number which was disconnected. Called in less time closings and they found the the check had cleared and said they were sorry. We told them that w would not proceed with this kind of business and wanted our money back and now they will not respond.Desired Settlement: We would just like our money back and end this fiasco. We did email them and said if this issue was not resolved that we would contact you and they did not respond. Thank you for your help

To whom it may concern,

This process has been a complete farceAlthough we were initially told that the process "normally" takes from to days, it has now dragged on over months! We were nearly coerced into signing by receiving a "special" limited time price that has been the only occasion that timely action seems to have been a priorityAlmost all communication has had to be initiated by me, and only then do I receive a responseI am still hopeful of a positive outcome, but the lag time has been very frustrating

Review: I bought a timeshare on July 8 2014. I have been trying to contact the person who sold me this timeshare, but every time I call I get her secretary and they will not let me speak with her. I did find out that I did not receive the timeshare in which I was supposed to receive my refund of the amount I paid. I have called multiple times, and the secretary told me 10 days ago they were going to cut the check for me. I still have not received my money back, and I still have yet to talk to anyone except the secretary. This company needs to be out of business. They have no customer service at all!Desired Settlement: I want a refund check for the amount of money that I sent to them. It was in the agreement that if I did not get the timeshare, my money would be refunded to me, as you can see it is October and I have yet to see my money.

To whom it may concern,

Review: This is a follow-up complaint to our previous complaint #[redacted]. After the company In Less Time Closings Co. failed to close our time share purchase after 11 months of agonizing dealings with this company, they finally refunded us the money we paid, after our complaint #[redacted] to Revdex.com. However, they failed to reverse the grant deed to the owner, so, even though we never once owned and used this said unit of time share, the [redacted] county is sending us property tax bills to pay. How ridiculous is that?!! We demand that In Less Time Closings Company's immediate attention and action to reverse/nullify the said grant deed and clear our property tax obligations with[redacted] county.Desired Settlement: We demand that In Less Time Closings Company's immediate attention and action to reverse/nullify the said grant deed and clear our property tax obligations with[redacted] county.

I have emailed the buyer the following:

[redacted],

Review: Per [redacted] listing [redacted] and the Timeshare purchase contract for the listing, “50% of 2015 Maintenance fees are to be paid by seller.” Not only has [redacted] and their agent, In Less Time Closings been extremely slow, they fraudulently attempted to bill me for 50% of the 2015 Maintenance fees on 3/5/2015. They also threatened to hold the resort transfer until I had sent payment to In Less Time Closings which is in violation of the contract and is not usual or customary in this type of transaction. Both of these company’s make it impossible to leave feedback on the [redacted] site as there is no way to know where the transfer is at until after the 60 day feedback window closes. I have wasted hours of time attempting to dealing with these companies. May and June HAVE NOT been paid and I am being told to contact Wyndham myself to resolve the issue. This is not my responsibility and it is preposterous that I should be asked to do so as the seller and it’s agent have fraudulently not completed their contractual agreement. I am extremely disappointed by the ethic’s and businesses practices of these companies.Desired Settlement: Payment in the amount of $[redacted].** for the months of May and June to fulfill their contractual obligation.

Response:

Payment in the amount of $[redacted].** for the months of May and June will be made to buyer.

Copy of Check and tracking attached. Will go out today.

Twenty years ago, before the Internet, I purchased a timeshare at Olympic Village Inn while in the Army. I used it when I was in the USA and attempted to rent it when I wasn't able to visit. I was sick and tired of reserving a room 18 months in advance, only to find out that there was no snow on the ground when I arrived for my vacation "experience".

Heartland Transfers sent me a postcard in Oct 2014; I went to the seminar and the owner seemed to be a good, honest person. I signed up, paid a very large price, and left it with them to transfer. Within a couple days of signing up I had all the documents sent to me for signature. Then silence...nothing for about 2 months. That was the negative portion of my experience with In Less Time Closings - there was very little communication and it was always initiated by me to find out what was going on with my transfer.

That was the negative side - paying $$$$ that was more than half the original price of my timeshare, waiting (mostly without word of progress) for the good Lord to find someone to take the albatross off my neck.

On the positive side - six months later, I am happy to report that [redacted]. at In Less Time Closings, LLC completed the transfer! The Grant Deed is in someone else's name (who I called and confirmed it is a real person). I have confirmed with my former timeshare (OVI) that I'm off the hook, and I can close this chapter of timeshare ownership. No more maintenance fees! No more "special assessments"!

Dear Representative of the Youngstown Revdex.com:

I received a copy of the letter where a complaint has been filed against our company from [redacted]

Please accept this letter and the following documents as a response to this transfer.

I have been working diligently on getting [redacted] to cooperate with me in the transfer process. They are telling both buyer and seller that they simply need a copy of the deed and check for transfer fee. This was all submitted to [redacted] from my office back on March 13, 2014 via USPS Certified Mail, tracking number [redacted] and was tracked to be delivered to the [redacted] property address on March 17, 2014 at 11:08AM. I have written communication that I submitted to [redacted] requesting a status update on the transfer, but have received NO reply. Additionally, when I have called [redacted] DEEDING Department, they stated to me that they are not in receipt of my transfer package (attached). I explained that I followed their transfer procedures and protocol and that they are the problem here as they have seemed to have lost my transfer package including a check. When I spoke with them on 6/24/14- they promised to return my call within 24-48 hours after they try to track down the missing package. I have also followed up with the seller and Mrs. [redacted] regarding this issue, and now they both understand the fault is not in my hands, its with Orange Lake. I am continuing to work diligently on getting this transferred.

Review: In June of 2014 I signed a contract with [redacted] to purchase a timeshare. I overnighted my payment and signed contract immediately to In Less Time Closings, LLC (escrow service) to help hasten the process. A few months go by and I have heard no progress so I call to check on the status of my transfer. I'm told that the information has been sent to the county office for recording. Some time passes, I call again and again I'm told it is still being recorded at the county office. I've never gone through this process before so I'm unaware of how long it typically takes but I'm assured by the staff at In Less Time Closings that it should only be a few more weeks. Fast forward to the beginning of November. I call again to check on the status and this time I hear that it has been recorded and just needs to be registered with the resort, just two more weeks at this point. Well here we are in the middle of December and I can't get anyone on the phone to tell me the status of my timeshare and when it will be mine. I have checked county records and with the resort and my information isn't anywhere to be found. So there is no proof that I do own this timeshare. When I initially purchased the timeshare I was informed that I could use it in 2014 and that maintenance fees would be due the first of 2015. It has been six months now, there is no time left in 2014 for me to use it this year and I do not want to be penalized for not paying maintenance fees in 2015.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to finally hold the deed to the property I purchased. If this isn't attainable than I would like my money back but ultimately I want to use the vacation I had bought into.

To whom it may concern,

Review: On July 31, 2014, I purchased a timeshare from [redacted]. I signed the contract and sent the money the same day to "In Less Time Closings, LLC". The communication after they received the money was terrible. I was told they were short on staff. On November 26, 2014 I finally received an email stating the property I purchased was already sold to another individual. They asked if I would like a refund or another property. I informed them I wanted a refund. To this date I have not received a refund for Escrow [redacted]. When I spoke to the owner on January 5, 2015 she informed me she would personally touch basis with me within 24- 48 hours on the timeline. I have not heard from her. I have left numerous phone messages with the receptionist and the owner's voice mail.Desired Settlement: Please call me. I need to know when I will be receiving my refund.

Review: On August 19, 2013 we agreed to buy a time share where in less time closing would be handling the closing for us as stated on the very first email from [redacted]. They gave us a file number [redacted] and a website where we could track the status of the transfer. On August 21, 2013 they confirm the received of the funds we paid for $[redacted] with the promise that the transfer of the deed for a time share at [redacted] would be October 11, 2013. Here we are almost a year after and today when we call Ms. Brant (of course she didn't answer like the last several emails and phone calls) we were told that they can't find our file in the computer. This is unacceptable, this company has being playing with us and with our money for the last year.Desired Settlement: We want 100% of the $[redacted] we paid on August 20, 2013 in a cashier check in my name.

To whom it may concern,

After receiving this complaint I was in touch with [redacted] and discussed some different options with him to resolve the issue at hand. We are completing the transfer of the INCORRECT deed OUT of [redacted] name and transferring the agreed upon correct deed to him and his wife. I have attached a copy of both deeds here. I am awaiting [redacted] & [redacted] to send back the signed and notarized deed so that I can record OUT of their names and transfer the new property into their names per our verbal agreement.

As of today's date, the clients seem to be satisfied with my action taken.

Thank you,

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

Slower than a snail closing group should be the name of this company! I purchased a timeshare and this group is supposed to be doing the closing. I paid them on March 7 for the closing. I keep getting excuses from this group about why I haven't closed yet. At this point I will be owing for many months of maintenance fees. I will also be losing the points that was available for this year from everything that I've been researching since it takes some time to get the entire account setup by the timeshare group. If you see this group as the closing group run away from them!

Review: I purchased a timeshare on [redacted] in June of 2014. On June 26, 2014, all paperwork necessary and a Cashier's Check in the amount of [redacted] made payable to In Less Time Closings LLC was [redacted] overnight to ILTC in Ohio. The Escrow No. is [redacted]. I have been continuously informed that the Deed had been sent to the County Recorder in [redacted] for recording. Now, ILTC will not return phone calls or e-mails. I have been in contact with the Timeshare "[redacted]" Administrator and no Deed has been recorded and no transfer paperwork has been received by the "[redacted]". I contacted the seller directly and he wants to sell the timeshare to me, but In Less Time Closings refuses to record the Deed, or complete the Transfer documentation. Further, ILTC is not returning the seller's calls either. I want this escrow closed ASAP as promised, or if they are unable to complete the transfer, I want every cent of my money refunded out of the escrow account.Desired Settlement: I want this Escrow closed ASAP or if they are unable to close this Escrow immediately, I want a full refund of my monies, so that I can attempt to buy another timeshare and use a different closing company.

Response:

Please find attached the recorded deed and the transfer package that was submitted to [redacted]. Our office has completed the transfer. However, the lack of communication was due to extreme lack of staff and overwhelming amount of daily phone calls and emails that each agent assumes. Although this is not an excuse, we do ask that this be kept in mind when transferring a property as we originally state to all clients that a transfer can take anywhere from 90-180 days. We have completed and fulfilled our contractual obligations and are now awaiting completion notification from [redacted]. We do sincerely apologize for any delay, however, we are proud to say that all has been taken care of.
