In Less Time Closings LLC Reviews (59)

Twenty years ago, before the Internet, I purchased a timeshare at Olympic Village Inn while in the Army. I used it when I was in the USA and attempted to rent it when I wasn't able to visit. I was sick and tired of reserving a room 18 months in advance, only to find out that there was no snow on the ground when I arrived for my vacation "experience".
Heartland Transfers sent me a postcard in Oct 2014; I went to the seminar and the owner seemed to be a good, honest person. I signed up, paid a very large price, and left it with them to transfer. Within a couple days of signing up I had all the documents sent to me for signature. Then silence...nothing for about 2 months. That was the negative portion of my experience with In Less Time Closings - there was very little communication and it was always initiated by me to find out what was going on with my transfer.
That was the negative side - paying $$$$ that was more than half the original price of my timeshare, waiting (mostly without word of progress) for the good Lord to find someone to take the albatross off my neck.
On the positive side - six months later, I am happy to report that [redacted]. at In Less Time Closings, LLC completed the transfer! The Grant Deed is in someone else's name (who I called and confirmed it is a real person). I have confirmed with my former timeshare (OVI) that I'm off the hook, and I can close this chapter of timeshare ownership. No more maintenance fees! No more "special assessments"!

The deed has been recorded. The client has spoken with his closing agent today, December 8th, and she notated the file with the following:
I spoke with [redacted], he would like to be a part of the Golf membership. I explained that I will email him the Golf Membership Application and a copy...

of his recorded deed.
We hope that this information provided appeases the buyer.
We are currently in our busy season and that is why our timeframes have been pushed out further than other companies.
We thank you for your understanding.

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]  I do not want a refund, I want the timeshare that I paid for over 5 months ago.  In addition, I want a partial refund of the 2014 maintenance fee of $[redacted] because of In Less Time Closings incompitance in this matter.  First, they took six weeks to get a "first right of refusal waiver", a process that normally takes 10 days.  Second, they sent in the closing paperwork to the county for recording, without the necessary power of attorney.  This delay alone wasted an additional 10 weeks (2/15/14 - 5/2/14)  This is a company that is supposed to specialize in timeshare closings.  With each month that goes by, I am losing the opportunity to use this timeshare in 2014 which I still have to pay for.  For that reason, I am requesting a partial refund of my 2014 fees.  Thank you Revdex.com for any help that you can give me.
Regards,

I am very pleased that In Less Time Closings has finally admitted that they are incapable of completing the transfer of my timeshare.  However, they should not be operating as a closing company with an A- rating.
Here is just one more example of their incompetence: The "first right of refusal" was needed from the [redacted] in order to get the closing process started.  The [redacted] executed that waiver on 1/21/14, and notified In Less Time Closings of several items which would be needed for the transfer of the deed.  Two of those items were: a) power of attorney for timeshare, and b) power of attorney for condominium.  In Less Time Closings asked me to sign those documents for the first time on 5/7/14.  A delay of over 100 days for no apparent reason.
I feel that In Less Time Closings should compensate me for one nights loss of use for the timeshare that I am paying for and supposed to use in 2014.  Even though I bought the timeshare in late 2013, I still have no usage.  The compensation for one night is $[redacted].  If they were to reimburse me for this loss, I would consider the matter closed.

In Less Time Closings, LLC made an offer to resolve this complaint.  The details are as follows:Date that proposal was made: 12/29/2014 Value of proposed resolution (USD): [redacted] Description of proposed resolution: Although there were delays not caused by our company, and it clearly states in the Purchase Agreement that In Less Time Closings, LLC has the right to extend the contract to provide clear title without any written notice, we understand Mr. Walker's frustrations and are giving him the refund that he has requested just to satisfy this client. Promised completion date: 1/8/2015In addition, the business provided the following additional comments:

Revdex.com:This letter is to inform you that In Less Time Closings, LLC has carried out to my satisfaction the resolution it proposed for my complaint, filed on 11/17/2014 11:17:45 AM and assigned ID [redacted]Regards,[redacted]

Please find attached the recorded deed and the transfer package that was submitted to [redacted]. Our office has completed the transfer. However, the lack of communication was due to extreme lack of staff and overwhelming amount of daily phone calls and emails that each agent assumes. Although...

this is not an excuse, we do ask that this be kept in mind when transferring a property as we originally state to all clients that a transfer can take anywhere from 90-180 days. We have completed and fulfilled our contractual obligations and are now awaiting completion notification from [redacted]. We do sincerely apologize for any delay, however, we are proud to say that all has been taken care of.

Thank you

They had me send $[redacted] the first of August for my transfer. Since then they have NOT returned any calls or e-mails. Always get a recording they will call back but NEVER do.

In late summer we were contacted by Joshua S[redacted] of [redacted] about getting out of our 3 timeshare properties. In Less Time Closings, LLC would be the company handling this process. Typically it would anywhere from 3 to 6 months to finalize the 3 closings. Working with both Ashley N[redacted] and Elsie C[redacted] at ILTC, LLC, they managed to close the process in less than 3 months, all the while communicating with us about the status of the closings. We could not be happier with the process and the outcome that In Less Time Closings, LLC provided.

Revdex.com:
I cannot except the "offer", because the only offer that was made is to keep waiting for something that should have been completed 12 weeks ago.  I still do not have a timeshare, and with every week that goes by, I am losing the flexibility of being able to use the timeshare that I am already paying for in 2014.

I’ve really loved working with these guys on the time share purchase. I had a lot of nervousness based on the history of actually being in sales meetings at the resorts and then using what I would consider a non-traditional path (e-bay) to purchase a time share with a membership. Even though they are an escrow company and so regulated, I was still nervous, but the team at In Less Time Closings made the experience amazingly smooth and worry-free. If I were to purchase again, I’d definitely look to them again and will recommend them to others!

This process has been a complete farce. Although we were initially told that the process "normally" takes from 60 to 90 days, it has now dragged on over 9 months! We were nearly coerced into signing by receiving a "special" limited time price that has been the only occasion that timely action seems to have been a priority. Almost all communication has had to be initiated by me, and only then do I receive a response. I am still hopeful of a positive outcome, but the lag time has been very frustrating.

Revdex.com:
I received private communication from the business on 12/16 stating that the transfer has been complete.  See attached.

I would like to point out that there was no communication on 10/28 to me or my wife and that [redacted] (the resort parent company) confirmed that the transfer hadn't been completed on that date.  I will accept their resolution now that I have the result that I wanted but I would like to advise that I don't accept the way they operate their business or their customer service.

Slower than a snail closing group should be the name of this company! I purchased a timeshare and this group is supposed to be doing the closing. I paid them on March 7 for the closing. I keep getting excuses from this group about why I haven't closed yet. At this point I will be owing for many months of maintenance fees. I will also be losing the points that was available for this year from everything that I've been researching since it takes some time to get the entire account setup by the timeshare group. If you see this group as the closing group run away from them!
